I didnt get the room i booked because of maintenance but i got a penthouse but the penthouse was full of coakroaches the sheets were dirty the smell of mold and humity in the room was awefull

El puso tenía muchas cosas rotas ... Había cucarachas en la cocina que cuando se encendían los fogones salían de los muebles ... En Booking aparece la habitación y ponen fotos de la piscina y al llegar esta estaba en obras ... Y te lo comes con patatas Quiso que le pagáramos a mano y redondeó hacia arriba unos euros y aunque sea poco es el detalle... Hemos pedido que no nos hagan limpieza y un día antes de marchar cuando estábamos de paseo nos entrar en el apartamento y nos revolvieron todo ... Lamentable El regente creía que salíamos un día antes ...

This hotel is a scam. I showed up to the hotel address listed on the reservation (The Catalonia) and the staff at the desk told us they didn’t have our reservation. They sent us next door to see if that was the place. The staff next door sent us up the street to see if that was the place. We lugged our luggage up and down the block late at night and never found the address. We gave up and had to spend the next hour trying to find another hotel to stay for the night. Booking.com should ban this place from their site before they ruin Booking.com’s reputation.

This is an Airbnb but the owners want you to think it’s the Catalonia hotel. They even post the pictures of the Catalonia hotel to depict their place. It’s a scam.

Le manque de gentillesse, de respect et honnêteté

The owners of this property are GREEDY, SCAMMING, LIARS. I booked this and another room in a separate building well in advance of my family's vacation. I called and e-mailed numerous times to confirm certain information but never received a reply. One day before arrival, I received an email requesting that I cancel the reservation due to plumbing issues. I knew if I cancelled I would be charged the full price. Shortly after the requests for cancellation, I received similar email from the other building, requesting cancellation due to plumbing issues. I find it very odd that two large, separate buildings would have plumbing issues on the exact days of my reservation, and no other temporary accommodations were possible. I became clear to me that my advanced reservation secured me a favorable rate, which the owners resented. In a corruptive, greedy, and scamming method, the financial loss responsibilities were place on me. Fortunately, booking customer service were able to cancel the reservations on their end, which gave me one day to find alternative accommodation for my family of 7.

The views from the balcony and the front bedroom were gorgeous! Having a pharmacy in front of the building was very convenient, as was having the Malecon across the street. The host was very quick to respond and address my concerns. She also provided plenty of water so I didn't have to buy any for the entirety of my stay.

The apartment was not stocked very well. For example, there was not enough toilet paper or hand soap for multiple days in multiple bathrooms. Also, before arrival, I asked if beach towels would be available, but they weren't. (Perhaps, the language barrier caused a misunderstanding, as the host doesn't speak English. I didn't learn that until I arrived, but I know enough Spanish to have understood her instructions when I checked in.)

I never will use this apartment again

The apartment is in bad condition, water on the floor from bathroom, light in kitchen off, sink covered, I took pictures and report, but they never fix it

Very nice a spacious apartment, big tv, amazing views. Great facilities, swimming pool , gym,etc. great location . It is actually Luxurious.

Although all the positive things about this apartment, we couldn’t have a nice stay due to the cockroaches which we could find everywhere in the apartment, and the “suspicious “ clean sheets , veeeeery old kitchen cabinets. Beside a weird toilet space with chicken bones ( check the pictures). And probably the most unfriendly and bitter host I ever had. So just a shame. Such a great apartment with so much potential. Maybe we were unlucky…. I don’t know but I truly think the owner must check into the cleaning issue and his lady host.
