Great location for Rosslare ferry

Fantastic location, and a little different from normal. We had self catering for two nights. And wanted for nothing in the unit.

Lovely relaxing property which is very close to the Rosslare port. Great breakfast.

Very quiet and clean. Lovely furnishings and decor. Owners very friendly and accommodating. Old country type house. Nice bar area in the lounge. Welcome tea and cake on arrival. Perfect for staying close to Rosslare port.

The location and it was very clean comfortable bed

Beautiful property and well located. We were staying one night after disembarking from the ferry at Rosslare and it was only 15 mins drive and easy to find. It had everything and more, we had a port from the honesty bar and enjoyed winding down by the fire in the lounge. Breakfast was fantastic and the owners friendly, welcoming and informative.

Next to farm you feel like you are in country side of Ireland

Excellent hotel servicing clients since 100 years ago. If you want authentic old school stay - go for it. Combination with the 15the century castle (recommended to explore) is memorable. Wonderful breakfast, cosy sitting room with self serviced drinks and history books.

Incredibly stay, wonderful breakfast, their hospitality is excellent. My young son had ample space to run and play. Loved the views and stunning place!

Tolle Unterkunft, nicht weit vom Fährhafen in Rosslare. Das Freilichtmuseum ist ebenfalls per Auto rasch zu erreichen und unbedingt einen Besuch wert.

All absolutely fantastic- personally don’t like a Shower bath- but recognise that it is not a big issues and only personal preference .

Warm reception including delicious apple cake and cookies. Lovely comfortable communal spaces, bedroom had spotless bedlinen and lovely toiletries. Access to EV charger is a bonus. Breakfast options are extensive and accommodated our early departure for the ferry.

Chilly, ungracious, by middle aged Irish employee set the tone. Miserable man. Delightful and warm helpfulness from young ((European) women.

The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was super nice and welcoming. The sweet treats and tea was great after a long day traveling.

It was a lovely stay in a spectacular location with welcoming hosts and splendid breakfast.

There was literally only one thing not perfect and that was the coffee served with breakfast that was bland and not made with fresh coffee beans.

We loved everything! Bed was fab, room fab, whole house is gorgeous and great location coming in off the ferry before our drive over to West Cork. Hosts were super friendly recommending where to eat that night (Mary Barry’s - again superb and we are fussy when it comes to food). And talking of food, this was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had - top notch quality produce and cooked to perfection. Host was more than happy to chat through the history of the house and more. And hands up to the two lovely donkeys on site too! We will be happily staying again as fallen head over heels for Ireland

- Das Frühstück ist aufgeteilt auf ein Buffet und auswählbare Speisen die frisch serviert werden. Das spricht auch für die Qualität der Speisen. Nachteil ist, dass man in der kurzen Zeit, bis wir zu Fähre aufbrechen mussten, nicht satt wurden, weil einige Zutaten wie z. B. Brot und Belag, sowie auch Säfte nur bestellt und nicht kurz selbst geholt/befüllt werden konnten. Hinweis: Da der Booking-Account gehackt wurde, haben wir per SMS und E-Mail täuschend echte Fake-Nachrichten erhalten, die aussahen, als ob sie von der Unterkunft kämen. Da kann die Unterkunft nichts für. Das bewerte ich auch nicht, warne nur andere Bucher, dies nicht anzuklicken.

You were allowed to explore the property, go in the castle, etc. The hosts were very nice.

Gemütliche, geräumige Zimmer in typischen Landhausstil, dabei aber geschmackvoll und komfortabel. Wir haben nichts vermisst! Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Es gab im der Lobby eine Teeecke mit Kuchen für die Gäste, man konnte sich jederzeit einen Schwarz- bzw. Kräutertee zubereiten und in der gemütlichen Ecke genießen. Die Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet war außergewöhnlich variantenreich und lecker, das warme Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet und formvollendet serviert. Jedem Gast wurde eine bemerkenswerte Aufmerksamkeit zuteil!

Die noble Optik und die typische Lounge-Klaviermusik verunsicherten uns bei der Anreise kurzfristig. Doch bereits nach der Begrüßung fühlten wir uns gut aufgehoben. Schade, dass wir nur auf der Durchreise waren.

The location and history of the place are amazing. The farm was a great surprise and we enjoyed walking around.

Owner was kind and doing a great job

I had an absolutely wonderful stay. First of all the Castle and grounds were lovely. I had warm sunny weather for my stay and enjoyed reading my book outside in the and grounds. I also enjoyed a short walk in a wooded corridor between the farm fields. The bed was comfy and the room had everything I needed and included a private bathroom. There was a lovely home made cake available on arrival too. The hosts were welcoming, helpful and friendly. One of the highlights of my stay (other than staying at a castle of course) was the breakfast in the morning. A buffet of continental options as well as a menu with cooked breakfast options. It was delicious! I had a delightful stay, it was a very peaceful place, I only wish I'd stayed longer.

Wunderschönes Haus in der Nähe von Wexford, sehr ruhig gelegenes, gepflegtes Anwesen mit einem großzügigen Park und einer alten Burg. Das Hotel wird sehr aufmerksam und liebevoll geführt. Die Einrichtung ist äußerst geschmackvoll. Das Frühstück ist grandios. Der Service war hervorragend. Die Lage ist sehr gut, es ist extrem ruhig und gleichzeitig in der Nähe von Wexford. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

We absolutely loved our night here! Everything was brilliant, the peaceful location, the country views, the super comfortable and very large room. But the things we will remember most are the super helpful, kind and friendly hosts and the fantastic breakfast! If we had our time again, we would have extended our stay here to further recharge our batteries and enjoy the best hospitality we had on our five week Europe trip :) Honestly, do yourself a favour and add this to the itinerary!

Wonderful accommodation in an beautiful calm location. The room was very large and extremely comfortable. All amenities were supplied. The host ensured we wanted for nothing. The bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning had everything you could want and then some more. A lovely place to stay.

Amazing stay in a hidden gem, the stay felt so relaxing as it was quiet and very comfortable! The surrounding gardens with hens and donkeys were a nice addition and we absolutely appreciated how kind the hosts were! We're already hoping we'll be back!

Beautiful castle / country house , it was a privilege to stay in such a historic, unique building. The food was exceptional and such a lovely touch and treat to have complimentary homemade cake . Felt totally spoilt and relaxed, thank you to all at Killiane Castle.

This was probably the best breakfast we have enjoyed for many years. Our room was beautifully decorated and we really liked the position - out in the countryside and within reach of the ferry port.

It starts with a wonderful family running this inn. Very engaging and they just make you feel comfortable. Breakfast was excellent both days. Nice lil snacks/pastries are in the sitting area when you come back after exploring the area all day.
