It had everything we might need - kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Great location with the beach a short walk away.

The photos cannot tell how beautiful this house is. We are super lucky to stay here, a stone throw to the beach and has everything we need to call it a quietly luxurious home away from home. Top 5 properties we've stayed at when travelling around Europe and Asia!

Very well equipped with everything we needed. Great location and fabulous having the Four Square open on Good Friday when we arrived!

Everything. The hosts were very kind allowing us to overstay the checking out period due to our flight issue. The property was stunning and comfortable and had every possible thing you could want. Near to a lovely beach. Lovely quiet area which is just what we wanted. Literally perfect for us.

The property was very well outfitted throughout and comfortable. The host was very accommodating and helpful.

Although it is close to sea, there is no possibility to swim due to public health warning, but the walk on the seashore was great anyway.

Peaceful, stylish, gorgeous linen, all the extras, outdoor bath was fab, close walk to beach.

Die Unterkunft war perfekt für ein paar Tage an der wunderschönen Küste. Wir fühlten uns sofort Zuhause. Alles war sehr individuell, persönlich und hochwertig eingerichtet. Es war auch sehr sauber. Das einzige, das wir vermisst haben, war eine Klimaanlage… es gab aber einen Ventilator.

Beautiful decor and attention to detail. Felt like home, with everything you could possibly need or want! Walking distance to the beach and paths for walking.

We loved our stay at the Lighthouse. The house is really lovely, and beautifully furnished. Everything was provided that we could possibly need. Really nice kitchen for making meals. Location is great, in a stylish development next to the sea.

Very comfortable feels like home

A light, spacious property with great outdoor seating and such a short easy walk to a lovely beach. It was a special thrill seeing so many godwits as well as the dotterels and oystercatchers. The house was extremely well equipped and easy to prepare meals at. We also had a marvellous lunch at Brick Bay, just up the road.

The internet came and went at times, freezing the TV. Not a big issue though given how well everything else worked.

The location was excellent - a very short walk to the beach and a great walking path. The house was beautifully appointed with everything we could possibly need during our stay.

It was first class, no did not liked.

Everything was super wonderful. So close to a glorious beach and easy drive to many beautiful places.

The Lighthouse was spruce and neat and well-equipped, part of an attractive new development called Boathouse Bay. The host, Robyn, was very pleasant to deal with. Beds were super comfy, and hot water was plentiful. Lots of beautiful walks and drives nearby.

Weather in May/June was quite cold and windy, and a little more heating in the living area would have been great (but then again we are tropical birds, not used to the cold).

What a gorgeous property, so beautifully decorated. It had everything we could possibly need and lots of information about the surrounding area. The best part was the bed - so incredibly comfortable, with lovely linens.

The tv was pretty small for how far it was from the couch, but that was nice in the sense it didn’t take over the room. Clean dishes were in the dishwasher but we didn’t realize until our last day. We made do but could have used the mugs!

It was an amazing build and a delight to visit. We did not realise it was three storey when we booked on line and was questionable for an 88, 86 and 81 year old. It was a challenge!

The ambience. The condiments were appreciated. . The coffee machine was great.

The beds were a bit uncomfortable for us.

Lovely clean modern house in a quiet location very close to the beach. Very homely with every single thing you could want. Dish washer, washer, even an outdoor bath. Lovely people . Very friendly local people too. Was just what we needed after an hectic drive around NZ. Loved the windows! Opened fully so that you could sleep with the fresh air and the sounds of the birds. An absolute delight! Backs on to a natural forest . There are loads of birds in the bay . Looks just like the picture and is an almost new house.

I am sorry to say this because we loved the place. A minor thing but I think that the bedding in the master bedroom needs up grading. And a thicker topper would definitely lift the sleeping experience. I like at least one other person found the bed a bit hard.

It was a great place to stay, very neat and clean. It had a lovely homey/ cosy feeling. The facilities were great!

This a new, modern and very well equipped 2 bedroom house. Great location -1 minute walk to beach. Exactly as advertised.

Loved the 2 bedrooms with own showers and toilets. Beautuful Property. Very close to Matakana.

Great house which is nicely furnished with everything you need for the duration of your stay, very homely feel! Beds were comfy and the 2 bedrooms were on separate floors with their own bathroom which was handy. The location is awesome and there is so much to do in the area from wineries, restaurants, and beaches with Matakana, Warkworth and Tauwharanui Peninsula a short drive away from the house. Goat Island is a little bit further away but totally worth the trip!

Wasn’t a problem for us but the house was 3 story with the bedrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor so keep that in mind if you struggle with stairs!

Amazing accommodation! Everything you needed was provided. Spacious and beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds and top quality linen. Absolutely loved this place and the host was super accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful property in an awesome location, steps to the beach

Fantastic, homely feel, a very quiet community, close to a lovely beach and close to all the action in matakana, highly recommend!

We loved our stay it was a lovely place!

The only criticism was that I wasn’t sent instructions on how to check-in. Robyn was very responsive when I messaged her. The gate we had to push to go through needed to be lifted as well. I don’t think we would have been able to get in but luckily the cleaner was still there and helped us :)

It’s super clean, modern, comfortable and felt like a treat staying there. Nothing has been missed it is abaulteky beautiful and the host is very helpful.

What an amazing holiday home, a great location close to many beautiful regional parks and vineyards. The house came with many modern amenities (and luxury finishing touches). We found our stay in the house to be very comfortable, warm and spacious. We had an amazing stay, the bath outside after a day out exploring was a great touch. I highly recommend a stay here, enjoy not only the house, but the beautiful surroundings right on the back doorstep. I only wish we could have stayed for longer…

The location was perfect for our stay in Snell's Beach. The accommodation was very unique, comfortable, clean and attractive. The hosts have put a lot of thought into the little things to make the accommodation fun and comfortable.

The location to the beach is very close. We loved going for walks around there every day. The house is quite new and Robyn and David have put a lot of thought into what guests could need in their stay here.
