Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Internal Access for privacy when getting back from our sports event. Excellent customer service and prompt response to queries and issues. The house overall was absolutely wonderful for what we needed and would stay there again and recommend to friends and family. The neighbourhood was friendly and welcoming as well.
Needs a DVS system. The whole time we were there the windows had condensation on them. No dryer so drying clothes on a rack (the line out the back gets little to no sunshine to dry clothes naturally).

All beds were hard as rock, one of the single beds diidnt have a top sheet, their cleaner needs sacking as there was grease on the stove stop, hair in the cupboard of the bathroom, carpet in the lounge was dangerous as it was slippery, For a family home that can cater for 6 people, having one couch isn't enough and the dinning chairs look like they only cater for small people

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026Exceptionally comfortable and well stocked house, especially the kitchen. Our 10-day trip in New Zealand we stayed at six different accommodations this was my favourite. There is plenty of space in this accommodation, it's very quiet and clean. I highly recommend this stay.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Very clean and organised, i can see it is brand new and well maintained. Looks like very save neighbourhood as well.
Room temperature were very cold in the winter as there’s only have one central AC in the living room. No heater in the individual room especially for the one far from the Living room. The shared bathroom shower have gap in the shower box so the water from the shower can go out and wet the floor if the shower head angle is incorrect. But no big deals as the house provided us with the mop, maybe for this reason… overall all good experience!

The chore list of cleaning dishes, towels and rubbish upon exiting. There is a cleaning charge included in the cost. I always tidy on vacating a residence, however, this felt like being scolded, before our stay.

Couch and dinning chairs were quite uncomfortable. Bean bags or a comfy chair would have been perfect for 2 people to socialize in the evening.

It would have been nice if you could close the door of the bedroom with the twin beds. Size of one of the beds did not allow for the doors to close.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025We stayed on a quiet street in Chartwell and didn’t hear any noise at all during our stay. The house felt really new and well looked after. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was super spacious for us. The garage had an electric door, which made things very convenient.
The only downside was that there weren’t many places to hang clothes, and one of the bedrooms didn’t have a wardrobe.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025The host was very good at communicating arrangements and was able to provide assurance when we were unsure of the expected arrival time and was very flexible regards check out when were we going to a nearby funeral,
The master bedroom bed was too firm for a comfortable nights sleep. also the furniture in the living area was a little small for bigger people. We are all tall and the furniture seemed made for shorter people.

The beds, all the beds were too hard. The room with the single bed, one bed as basically on the floor. No milk. sugar in a salt shaker. Little things like no handee towels , There is only one little couch for 2 people.

Reviewed May 17, 2025As usual it was an ideal place for us to stay. This was our third visit and we enjoyed the setup and the access to great entertainment. The beds are cosy and comfortable and the two bathrooms are well appointed. Loved the fluffy towels and supplied products in the shower. The kitchen is well-equipped although some Instructions on using the gas stove would be useful. Thanks again
There wasn't enough comfortable seating in the lounge - another sofa is needed for more guests. Definitely not the yellow sofa that used to be there though.

I'm a plus size woman ,who sitting on plastic seats aren't idea. The lounge was difficult getting up from as the height was low. The property didn't have a dryer for my washing.

Reviewed May 6, 2025Collecting the code to the door was easy. When we arrived, the cleaner was parked in the carpark on her phone. We waited 5 minutes before I hopped out of the car to go talk to her. She was lovely and apologised, then showed me how to unlock the door. The house was beautiful and spotless. 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen had everything you need. The location is handy to everything, only a stone's throw to Chartwell Shopping Centre for the day and a nice chilled one at Wayward Pidgeon (Sportsbar) in the evening. Given the little issues we had, if those were fixed we would definately stay there again. It was such a beautiful walk in the morning, highly recommend.
The beds were quite hard, like firm hard. My husband couldn't watch any sports because we couldn't work the TV and there were no instructions. The batteries to the TV were flat so swapped them out with the Air Con batteries and still couldn't get it to go. I had text the Host on 3 occasions during our stay to the number he gave prior to check-in and he never replied once. The nozzle in one of the two showers wouldn't sit so if you showered in this you had to hold the shower the whole time. There were no face cloths or bath maths in the shower, only handtowels and everyone got a towel each. There was no milk in the fridge so couldn't have a cuppa if you just arrived after hours on the road travelling. Thought we'd rest up for a bit. There were 4 adults and only one couch that fits 2 people. The other 2 adults had to sit at the dining room table. There were no outdoor seating in the only private corner of the house behind the garage.

It was clean well set up with everything you need to cook, make hot drinks clean up&it had nice hair& shower gels. The owner was also proactive in ensuring that the guests are fully aware of the things that need to be done during the stay.
The place is a little far from the city centre, but it's easily resolved with a short drive/Uber ride
