Reviewed Aug 30, 2026It was nice clean room and nice apartment for short stay. Comfortable bed (even better than on the picture). Bit noisy on weekend nights when weather is hot and window needs to be opened for night, but location is very good, very close to old town and train/bus station walkable.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026The location is very good, just next to Jumbo to the city centre. The property is just exactly what you need (if you are not that needy) to stay for a few days while doing your work. The kitchen offers cutlery and dishes, a fridge, two ovens, a coffee machine, and so on. The hosts are VERY nice.
I couldn't connect to the WiFi (just didn't see the network). Also, there are garbage bins in front of the house (but there is no smell etc) and some car traffic.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Sehr angenehme Gastgeber! Somit absolut empfehlenswert. Die nächste Übernachtung wird bereits geplant!

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026The room was very comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect, quiet, and very close to Enschede city center. This was my second stay at this place, and I strongly recommend it. The hosts were very polite, gentle, kind, and respectful. The price was also very good, offering excellent value for money.
I did not find anything that I disliked.

Reviewed Apr 11, 2026The location was great. Literally close to everything. The host was also super nice and helpful. The room had all the basics; a sink, wardrobe, mirror, hair dryer, multiple towels, extra blanket. There is a fully equipped kitchen free to use.
The light switch is outside of the room but there is a small lamp in the room but still weird. The area was a bit loud since its in the centre but if you put earplugs its doable.

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Everything was sparkling clean and organized. The heating worked well. There was a fully-equipped kitchen with a nice coffee maker, a washing machine. Aziz was a gracious host. The location was great-- 10 minute walk from the station, and within a 5-minute radius I had my workplace, a large Jumbo, and the central square of Enschede.
There's a shared bathroom that's not heated, no problem for me, but might be a drawback if you're expecting a private hotel-style bathroom. The building is on a main road, and that can get kind of noisy. The windows are good, but single-glazed. Again, these are not problems, but just things to keep in mind. This was a great place to stay.

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026The location is very close to train station and Enschede's city center. It's walking distance to most interesting places in Enschede, so it's very convenient for all of us.
My only wish is this place would have more than one shared bath room. That's all.

Reviewed Jan 30, 2026The room was big, Wifi was free, the location could not have been better. The landlord was available when needed. Everything worked smoothly.
The room was too dark to work. Without ambient light, the display of a computer is straining to the eyes. Moreover, there were no desks for work. It was unergonomic to work at too low tables.

Reviewed Jan 26, 2026The owners were very friendly. They showed me around and made clear what I could and couldn't use. (They also have a student living in the thouse, whose stuff you're not supposed to touch.) The room was simple, but the heating was good, the bed was very good, and I had my own washing sink in the room.
The light switch of my room was in the hallway, on the outside of the room. That was a very minor inconvenience.
