Our host was super lovely and clearly explained everything we needed to know about the property. It was great value and has a lovely view over Kandy. We really liked having a fridge and washing machine!

Very nice and honest people. They provided us with a lot of local tips. The apartament is clean and comfortable with beautiful views. We especially enjoyed the washing machine and the kitchen. 10 out of 10!

Una estancia muy agradable. La habitación estaba muy limpia, cómoda y cuidada, y la ubicación es perfecta, a unos 10 minutos del centro. El anfitrión fue muy amable y atento en todo momento, haciendo que nos sintiéramos muy cómodos. Una lástima que solo pudiéramos quedarnos una noche, porque nos habría encantado disfrutar más de la estancia. Sin duda, un lugar muy recomendable.

Nada a destacar

Very nice apartment, had all of the amenities we needed as well as a great view overlooking Kandy from a private balcony. Gayani was very sweet, helpful and gave us lots of information about things we could go and see. ❤️

A nice homestay 10min walk from town. We visited it the 8th of august and found no problem with what so ever. I supposedly came after the floods buy in the accomodation neither in Kandy were any traces.

Only watch out that you don't trip on the kitchen floor. No big negatives.

The view from the appartment, in particular at night was wonderfull, we saw monkeys arround and lot of birds, our host was so kind and very respectfull, thanks again for the welcome to Kandy, i hope we will come back for the bouddhist festival !!!

The location was great, 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Kandy. Great to have our own floor with a balcony with great views. Our host helped us with suggestion for where to eat was a great one.

Very Disappointed. Owner of the homestay sent an impolite message by their language after we decided to not to stay here at the time of our arrival. Already complained to the booking.com

La ubicación un poco alejada del centro en una zona mucho más tranquila, pero se podía llegar al centro fácilmente a pie en unos 10 minutos. La anfitriona muy amable y servicial nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitamos. Las vistas desde la terraza son preciosas.

Solo tener en cuenta que al estar en la última planta, hace bastante calor en cuanto le empieza a pegar el sol

Location was beautiful had a great view over Kandy. The owners were very helpful and friendly, got us tickets to a cultural show and suggested restaurants which we loved.

Steep stairs to get up which might put some people off.

During the stay, the host was responsive and attentive, and location was convenient. The host also accommodated my last-minute booking change.

The room can get uncomfortable due to heat since the windows cannot stay opened for long.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Super Zentrale Lage und einen Klasse Ausblick vom Balkon über Kandy. Bei Fragen zur Weiterreise hatten uns die Gastgeber sofort weitergeholfen. Äusserst nette und zuvorkommende Familie. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft definitiv weiter.

I had a wonderful stay here. The place was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with a balcony, great view, kitchen, washing machine, and reliable Wi-Fi. The family were incredibly kind and welcoming, regularly checking in to make sure I had everything I needed and sharing helpful recommendations. It felt homey, genuine, and very well cared for. Highly recommended.

The only thing to note is that it’s uphill and quite steep, which may not suit everyone.

lovely homestay near the city centre and up a small hill in a quiet neighbourhood. the owners were so helpful with everything and were very welcoming to us. the room was lovely and the views were gorgeous from the balcony! would definitely recommend

The location is good, which is about 10 minutes walking to the lake and the main temple. The room is big and has nice views to Kandy. There is also some basic facilities to cook or wash your clothes. The host was friendly, welcomed me warmly and very nice.

The internet was not always available. The host did recharge it when it was not working.

What a beautiful place in kandy ❤️ A large, quiet room with a balcony including a stunning view over the City, still you are in the centre with a 10-15 minute walk. The Unit offers hot water (and in general a really good shower), WiFi, even a kitchen, a super big and comfortable bed and a Washing machine. I felt like home the moment i stepped in. The host is incredible kind and heartwarming. Thank you for everything 🥰

We had such a great stay at VS homestays. The host was fantastic - gave us great recommendations, sorted us dance show tickets and let us use th washing machine and borrow a saree for no extra charge. The location was really central, amazing views over Kandy

Das Personal ist unglaublich! Sie sind freundlich, zuvorkommend, rücksichtsvoll und hilfsbereit. Ob es sich um Hilfe bezüglich Planung in Kandy, spezielles Waschmittel, Gewürze zum Kochen, Getränke oder sogar Angelegenheiten bezüglich Dokumente anging, war das Personal immer zur Stelle. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und das Zimmer ist schön eingerichtet. Außerdem kann man auf dem Balkon einen schönen Morgen-Tee mit einer wundervollen Aussicht Richtung weißen Buddha genießen.

Grundsätzlich haben wir mehr Mücken erwartet. In der ersten Nacht hatten wir keinen Mückenbesuch. In der zweiten Nacht allerdings schon. Wir hatten kein Moskitonetz. Wir haben es nicht angesprochen, vielleicht hätte sie eine Lösung gehabt.

- The monkeys & dogs can be a bit loud during the mornings but I didn't find that a problem :)

Au 2e étage, rien que pour nous, une immense chambre avec un coin cuisine et une terrasse donnant sur la plaine de Kandy. À 15 minutes à pied du centre-ville. Idéal pour des voyageurs indépendants. Le dernier soir, l’hôtesse nous a gentiment offert un des meilleurs repas que nous ayons dégustés au Sri Lanka.

Tôt levés par le bruit des singes sur le toit. Plutôt amusant que gênant.

Ella es encantadora!! Es atenta, simpática y te ayuda con todo lo que necesites. Hace muy buenas recomendaciones locales, nos encantó el sitio para comer!!! El lugar el maravilloso, las vistas geniales y mucha calma (menos cuando están los monos con sus juegos, que como somos de fuera nos pareció muy divertido). Volveríamos sin duda!!! Great stay in Kandy :) Gayani was extremely helpful, warm and lovely. The studio has everything you need, it also has a washing machine which was very good. The studio has a lovely terrace overlooking Kandy and the temple with a charming sunset. Thank you Gayani for everything and for the yummy dinner on our last day, Stutti :)

L'apartament està molt net i és molt còmode. La família també és molt maca. Pots anar al centre caminant. Bon wifi.

Faltaría que tingués més plats i coberts, ja que de forquilles i plats només en tenia un. I una taula amb dues cadires per menjar també estaria genial!

The location and views from the balcony were excellent, it's a 10 minute walk to the lake and maybe 15 minutes into the centre of town. It was great to have a washing machine and a full size fridge is always a big plus. The Wi-Fi and smart TV worked well for me. Gayani and Mark are excellent hosts and you couldn't ask to stay with a better family. I totally enjoyed my two weeks stay with them.

The apartment didn't have air conditioning but I found that the fan was quite adequate and worked well for me.

Staying here was pure magic! The house is stunning – all glass walls with a breathtaking view over Kandy, its surrounding nature, and the hills beyond. From the little balcony, you can see the whole city stretched out below, yet it’s so peaceful that you feel miles away from the noise. Our host, who lives downstairs, was kind and attentive, she even treated us to delicious Sri Lankan sweets to take along on our walk – such a thoughtful touch! Honestly, it was the kind of place where you’re torn between exploring the city or just curling up at home with that view. If you want beauty, comfort, and warm hospitality in Kandy, this is the spot!

Very warm, helpful and accommodating host! She is a gem of a person. The stay is well equipped with a kitchen and washing machine, and of course the view is too beautiful! Dogs barking and ants

Nice big room near the city center of Kandy right above the big stadium. You have a great view from the balcony. The owner is a lovely person. A comfortable bed with a TV you can watch a Film on in the evening.

In a quiet locl neighbourhood with a stunning view of Kandy. The host was a delight and checked in everyday to see if we needed anything. The room was simple, clean, spacious and with good working facilities - exactly what we were looking for.

Only thing is the local dogs bark a lot so bring some ear plugs if your are a light sleeper.

Great location: only 10min (more or less) walking to the center and the railway station. Very bright, comfortable and clean. Well-decorated with a lovely balcony which offers a nice view. We felt more than welcomed by the host, who was super helpful and nice to us. I recommend this place!
