Very nice hosts who are willing to help you with everything. Also a more than comfortable room.

super sauber, große terrasse wo es schön ist zu sitzen. Die Besitzer sind super nett und respektvoll und binden einen zur Tea Time ein. Das Frühstück war auch mega lecker und reichlich. Uns wurden viele Reiseziele vorgestellt und zum Abschluss gab es sogar noch ein Abschiedsgeschenk. Rundum einfach perfekt !!

Una casa preciosa amb un jardinet a davant. En un carreró molt aprop de la costa i del poble. La familia és encantadora i t’ajuda en tot el que necessitis (ruta, lloguer de moto, kayacs…). L’habitació és enorme i confortable, amb aire acondicionat, llits grans i zona amb sofas. Preparen un esmorzar abundant i deliciós. Ens van regalar snacks per emportar-nos. Si voleu viure una experiència autèntica, no us ho penseu. L’entorn de Tangalle és increïble! Llogueu moto i a gaudir!

La chambre était très propre avec une belle salle de bain, la climatisation et même un petit frigidaire La famille vraiment adorable ils ont été aux petits soins pour nous, ils nous ont même on trouvé un scooter à louer qu’ils nous ont apporté directement Les petits déjeuners étaient excellents et copieux I c’est une des meilleures adresses qu’on a trouvées au Sri Lanka, je recommande vivement!

We hebben heerlijke dagen hier gehad. De familiekamer is ruim en heel prettig, de bedden zijn comfortabel en het ontbijt is elke dag anders en echt heerlijk. Lekkerste dahl ooit! Maar vooral de vriendelijke en zeer behulpzame hosts. Onze dochter was ziek en wij zijn door hen van alle kanten geweldig geholpen, tot in het ziekenhuis aan toe. Locatie is dichtbij het strand waar je de schildpadden ziet zwemmen en diverse heerlijke restaurants. Aanrader!

Wat een ontzettend lieve mensen. De prijs is inclusief een lekker Sri Lankaans ontbijt. Centraal gelegen en ze denken met je mee en geven goede tips. Alles mooi en netjes.

Heel eerlijk, ik denk dat de prijs best wat hoger mag, omdat het nu misschien ongeloofwaardig klinkt en dat is het zeker niet.

Die Gasteltern sind super!! Sehr sehr lieb, hilfsbereit, zuverlässig! Meine Kollegin hatte Bauchprobleme und die Gasteltern hatten dann sehr schnell alles organisiert für sie, dass sie ins Spital gehen konnte und direkt behandelt wurde. Wir haben immer mal wieder kleine Snacks bekommen (Mango, Mais). Es war alles wirklich wunderbar!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen, Zimmer sehr sauber, Frühstück war auch sehr gut und reichlich.

Hosts welcomed us with welcome arms. Nothing was too much for them, and had beautiful breakfast every morning at our chosen time. Great location, close to restaurants and the beach! Fantastic value for money! We had the honour of celebrating Sinhala New Year with them, which is an experience we will remember forever, thank you ❤️

Krásné, čisté ubytování asi třista metrů od pláže,kde se dá bezpečně koupat. Výborné snídaně, které se nedala ani sníst, protože porce jsou obrovské. Velice přátelští majitelé.

V ubytování probíhala rekonstrukce a hluk byl slyšet do pokoje .

Après une première impression mitigée, nous avons adoré notre séjour. Les hôtes sont d’une grande gentillesse, le mari avec venu avec nous a l’arrêt de bus pour être certain que l’on monte dans le bon. Repas et petit déjeuner excellent

Très bien placé, juste à côté de la plage et pas très loin du centre (10 à 15 min à pied) Les petits déjeuner sri lankais sont divins Accueil chaleureux par les propriétaires, un couple adorable Nous recommandons cet endroit et reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Awesome value for money! The couple that run the guesthouse are amazing, so friendly and helpful. She cooks the most delicious breakfasts and they change daily. Good location, 3 minutes to the local beach and a short Tuk Tuk ride to Goyambokka and Silent Beach.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Bett schön weich. Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker, mit Kaffee, Tee, frischen Früchten, Saft und wechselweisen Speisen. Die Familie war äußerst freundlich und bemüht uns einen schönen Aufenthalt zu bieten. Tolle Unterkunft, können wir sehr empfehlen und würden wir wieder buchen.

Номер просторный, чистый. Удобный матрас и подушки, постельное белье и полотенца чистые, не застиранные. Есть кондиционер и теплая вода. Очень вкусный, сытный завтрак. Приятная и дружелюбная семья. Не навязчивое обслуживание, но всегда рядом, можно решить любой вопрос. Есть небольшая парковка, наша машинка поместилась. Удобное расположение, не слышно шум от дороги. Видели обезьян и павлина. Рядом хороший пляж, там есть кафе и лежаки, много тени. Волны были не большие, дети плавали весь день. Мы хорошо отдохнули перед поездкой в центр острова.

The room was clean, comfy, new bathroom, great air con and fan. Owner’s were unbelievably friendly and went above and beyond for a special request. They are so accommodating and gave us a lot of suggestions of what to do in the area. Right next to a beach and multiple restraunts (about 3 minute walk) Would highly recommend will definitely stay again.

Die Lage war super, Klimaanlage im Zimmer, alles sauber, gegen günstigen Aufpreis das beste Frühstück auf der Reise bisher. Auf Nachfrage wurde unsere Wäsche gewaschen! Möglichkeit, Ausflüge und Unternehmungen zu buchen.

Location to local beach was perfect ! Very quiet clean room and bathroom very modern ! Couple who run this are so kind and helpful . The care they give is much appreciated as a solo traveller . Breakfast was best ever and changed daily . So much good and all delicious / thank you so much .

Very close to the beach and room was very clean. Also the family was super kind and hospitable and also had very delicious food for breakfast and dinner! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking for a great accommodation close to a beach that is not so super busy!

Auf den ersten Blick (im Eingangsbereich) noch eher Baustelle, aber wenn man in den Gästebereich im 1. Stock kommt ist alles gut. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß und schön (sogar mit Duschgel und Handseife). Sehr ruhig gelegen und schön um auf der Gemeinschaftsterrasse einen ruhigen Abend zu verbringen. Gute Restaurants und kleine Strände in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Zum Trubel der Stadt ca. 15 Minuten Fußweg. Sehr nette, freundliche Familie. Gute, leise AC. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Es ist ein wirklich schöner Ort! Die Zimmer sind super angenehm wodurch wir einen schönen Aufenthalt hatten! Die Lage ist wirklich super und die Gastfamilie super nett und hilfsbereit

Die Umrechnung von Dollar zu LKR war teurer als der tatsächliche! Das ist mir leider erst heute aufgefallen. Das Frühstück war außerdem teurer als wie es uns am ersten Tag mitgeteilt wurde. Zudem stand in der Buchung all inclusive wobei wir dabei von Frühstück inklusive ausgingen, tatsächlich musste es aber extra gezahlt werden.

No podemos recomendar más este sitio. La familia es encantadora, la habitación está genial, muy limpia, con aire acondicionado y muy amplia. El desayuno que cocina la propietaria está muy muy bueno y típico. Tuvimos un problema fuera de casa y no dudaron en ayudarnos en todo lo que pudieron. Nos sentimos muy acogidas, como en casa. Repetiríamos sin duda. Muy cerca de las playas, también te ayudan a rentar una scooter a buen precio.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sun Sea Guest Home. Our hosts were so helpful and friendly. They gave us a run down on Tangalle when we arrived. Telling us about all the beaches, sites and activities. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. And the breakfast that was prepared for us was delicious and generous. Would recommend 100%.

Sehr nette Familie, man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Sie waren sehr bemüht, haben uns beraten, was man unternehmen kann usw. Es ist nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Strand, an dem man Schildkröten sehen kann und wo es ein paar kleine süße Restaurants gibt. Die Besitzerin ist eine großartige Köchin, hat uns ein hervorragendes Rice and Curry und eine super leckere Bolognese gekocht. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und sehr viel. Das Zimmer war definitiv das Beste, das wir auf dieser Reise hatten. Alles neu und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, super sauber und sogar dekoriert. Nicht vom Eingangsbereich abschrecken lassen. Es wird noch weiter gebaut. Die Besitzerin hat uns sogar zum Bus begleitet. Absolut empfehlenswert, vor allem für den Preis. Einen Morgen wurden wir von einer Horde Affen geweckt, die sich durch die Bäume gejagt hat und man hört oft Pfauen schreien.

Das Bad hat manchmal etwas unangenehm gerochen.

Personale molto gentile, sorridente e accogliente. Camera spaziosa, profumata e pulita. Posizione comoda e a pochi min a piedi da una spiaggia con un ristorantino dove la sera abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. Colazione molto buona.

Bisognerebbe sistemare il bagno, ci sono un paio di perdite dalla doccia e dal wc. Nel lavandino l'acqua fa fatica a scendere.

Eine der besten Unterkünfte, in denen wir in den letzten 2,5 Wochen in Sri Lanka waren. Absolute Empfehlung, wenn ihr eine einzigartige Unterkunft um Tangalle sucht! Die Gastgeber sind super herzlich, hilfsbereit und freundlich, haben uns hilfreiche Tipps gegeben, uns TukTuk und Kanu Tour organisiert und uns sogar geholfen, den richtigen Bus zur Weiterreise zu bekommen. Das selbstgemachte Frühstück ist köstlich, sehr viel und wechselt jeden Tag. Man kann auch Dinner in der Unterkunft bestellen, ebenfalls ausgezeichnet. Das Zimmer ist groß, modern und komfortabel, mit AC und eigenem Bad. Auch die Lage ist sehr gut, 2 min Fußweg zum nächsten Strand und nur 6 min TukTuk Fahrt zum berühmten Silent Beach.

Such a lovely accommodation. The hosts are wonderful people, very friendly and helpful. Food which you can order is delicious. You can enjoy hot tea any moment you want. Room was specious and clean, bed very comfortable. The only con (digital nomads be aware) slow internet.

Our favourite home stay of 10days in Sri Lanka, the hosts are absolutely brilliant and so friendly. Amazing breakfast and we were lucky enough to see in the Sri Lankan new year with them, the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast spread they put on was delicious and all the traditions explained. If highly recommend staying here, good location and the owner sorted us out a rental too , a great warm welcoming family. 10/10.

The hospitality of the host and his family, although they are still upgrading the guesthouse it was very nice to stay over here. We had a very nice room.

We had the best home stay experience! Amazing hospitality from the kindest and helpful hosts! We had everything we needed and they were there to answer all our questions, provide recommendations and make sure we feel comfortable. The room was sparkling clean and spotless! They took the best care of us and felt like a real and authentic local homestay! Highly highly recommend Sun Sea Guest home!

The room was very beautiful, large, clean, modern, bright and cozy. Two large, comfortable beds with soft pillows and easy access to several sockets, light switches and a very efficient air conditioner. There was also a nice sofa group and access to the balcony. The bathroom was modern, nice and clean. The family is absolutely wonderful and did everything they could to ensure that we had a perfect stay. They served cheap drinks and food (much cheaper than the restaurants) and adapted the food as we wanted. Lovely food❤️ The lovation is also perfect.

The room was immaculately clean, the air con is new and very potent, the hosts are very helpful and offer a reasonably priced menu with authentic, home cooked food. The portions are huge and the choices varied, definitely order some food from them, you won’t regret it. You literally have the beach 100 metres from the house. There’s nothing to complain about. Absolutely perfect stay. Thank you!

Everything was fantastic! Spotlessly clean room, extremely comfortable bed and beautiful terrace. Effective but quiet AC and ceiling fan. Brilliant location near all the best beaches as well as lesser known beach on doorstep which is beautiful. Brilliant hosts who made us feel welcome and at home. They also organised scooter and helped with all aspects of organisation for our trip. Reasonably priced laundry service. Fantastic varied breakfast. One of the best places we have stayed in Sri Lanka, don't hesitate to book!

Very friendly host family. The room and bed are large, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the home-cooked breakfasts and dinners. (I had Sri Lankan meals but they also offer Western food.) Nice location - quiet, about 100m or so from a pleasant, beach and a short distance from the town centre and bus station. For the low cost it was very good value for money.

The property is located down a quiet street near a bus stop station and about a 15 minute walk from a grocery store and local restaurants. We were welcomed by the owners (husband and wife) and they offered us a welcome drink and showed us a booklet that provided information of all there is to see in Tangalle. The room was spacious and clean! We had breakfast here, cooked by the family and it was so beautiful of a breakfast. You can tell they put their love into it. Upon checkout, the family gave us advice for our next destination and even a snack for the road! The husband accompanied us to the bus station and helped hail down the bus and spoke with the man that drove it. It really eased our nerves because the busses aren’t marked and they FLY by so he was a huge help. Overall, couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

We had an amazing stay at this place, the hosts are a super lovely family, who helped us with everything we were asking for, gave us fresh mangos from their mango tree, prepared us some of the best meals that we had in our last month in Sri Lanka and provided a super clean room with everything you could ask for, we would come back anytime and strongly recommend to visit this lovely place ✌️🙏

Guest house is in expansion, so ground level where hosts are located is not shining, but everything is clean and quiet.

Clean comfortable quiet accomodation in pretty surroundings. Few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for better hosts, go over and above, received lots of useful information for our travels and extra special touches, helped us to bus stop for our next leg. Breakfast is the best! Laundry service and arranging of bike service helpful.

Everything was amazing. The nature around that you could see from the terrace, the tooo big breakfast, the room was clean, quiet, comfortable. The owners were very kind, helping with anything. The owner helped me with getting the right bus to the next destination and I got a packed snack for the journey. Plus, no insects in the room, though it's around nature. The beach is super close. Lovely stay.

Breakfast at the homestay was amazing they presented a buffet of local sri lankan dishes which changed day to day to provide a good variety.
