Мятое постельное бельё выглядит непрезентабельно, в других отелях/апартаментах такого не встречала. Как и предупреждали, пришлось ещё партию мятого постельного белья вынуть из сушильной машины. Wi-Fi не работал, даже с данными заранее советами по перезагрузке (т.е. это известная проблема). Хозяин квартиры не реагировал на наши ежедневные сообщения, хотя до заселения была куча автосообщений о достопримечательностях/экскурсиях. Мы были заинтересованы в парковке, но так как кто-то криво поставил машину (предположительно, арендатор с другого этажа), хозяин не делал ничего, чтобы это исправить, то мы провели дни, постоянно нервничая, занимая вынужденно чужое место. Лучше закладывать платную общественную парковку и получше отель/апартаменты. Про подъём с тяжёлым багажом на 4й этаж и непрезентабельный вход было известно, мы это приняли к сведению. Но неработающий Wi-Fi и занятая парковка были неожиданностью. The wrinkled bed linens look unpresentable; I've never encountered this in other hotels or apartments. As warned, we had to take another batch of wrinkled bed linens out of the dryer. The Wi-Fi didn't work, even with advice, reboot instructions sent in advance (so, it seems it's known problem). The landlord didn't respond to our daily messages, even though we received several messages about attractions and excursions before check-in (probably automated). The thing was that we've chosen this apartment because of parking place, but since someone (presumably a tenant from another floor) parked crookedly, the landlord did nothing to fix this situation/didn't respond, we spent days constantly stressed out, forced to occupy someone else's space. It's better to think of paid parking place and better accommodation. We'd taken note of the heavy luggage climb to the fourth floor and the unsightly entrance. But the non-working Wi-Fi and the occupied parking lot were a surprise.

Innsjekk var kl 17.00. Vi var å handlet først. Så ankom kl 18.30. Hadde da prøvd å få tak i utleier uten hell. Vi hadde vansker med å finne frem. Og bildene som skulle vise kor vi parkerte var ødelagt i mailen vert sendte oss.. så stod der hjelpesløs uten å vite kor vi skulle finne frem og parkere. Sendte meldinger til vert via boooking. Men fikk ikke svar. Det var dårlig vær og vi var sliten og ville finne frem. Fikk ikke svar via booking. Prøvde så å ringe vert flere ganger uten at telefon vart svart. Når vi endelig fant ut av det selv, og skulle låse oss inn (noe som og var problematisk) kom vaskehjelpen! Som skulle vaske etter innsjekkings tid.. det var så skittent. Vask på bad såg ikke ut.. vask på kjøkken var skitten med mat rester.. masse gris på alle gulver i leiligheten.. og ingen håndklær så vi kunne dusje. Etter en tid kom vaske hjelpen tilbake med handklær.. utrulig skuffet. For leilighet var fin. Men at det var så skittent dro ned. Når eg fikk kontakt med vert, svarte han meg sur, med kan ikke du lese meldinger?? Helt alvorlig.. leiger du ut.. så må man verte tilgjengelig når slike utfordringer oppstår. Han var rett å slett ufin! Kommer aldri til å bruke denne plassen igjen pah måten vert svarte meg! (Pga han var på julebord)

We arrived at our reservation address in the evening, and the apartment was occupied by other people. They showed us their reservation, also for the same dates. The owner didn't answer calls or emails. A very unpleasant experience and a ruined vacation.

Nothing cause it was allready occupied and we did not get to enter or even see the inside off it. And we had the booking and everything seemed to be in order.

Sadly when we arrived the appartmen was occupied. So we did not get to enter . This became a bit off a stressful situation cause it was allready eith oclock in the night and we had to stress around to find a new place. Our child was crying and it was not a good experince. Can't say anything about the appartment since we never even got to enter it .

The behave/attitude of the owner. He didn't respect the guest. He never answer the questions from the guest. Especially when the guest have difficulty to enter the apt. His information about the code is totally not works since he didn't give a full key code. For example the code he gave 555...but the right code is *555*. We find the right key by guessing..abd lucky us..it's work.

I tried several times to contact the owner/manager by telephone, but his only response by SMS was that he "was busy". We could not stay in the property and informed him that we would like a full refund. He did not accept this, still we had to book rooms and stay in a another hotel. I complained to Booking.com and received an offer of 60% of the price. In this light I consider that we were scammed for the remaining 40%, as it was not possible to stay the night there.

Ottima la posizione in pieno centro e comodissimo avere il posto auto riservato, chiare le istruzioni per trovare l'appartamento e fare il self check in, di per sé la casa non era brutta ma...

L'ingresso è inquietante, il portone è leggermente arretrato rispetto alla strada, c'è una recinzione in legno, si deve passare attraverso una corte totalmente sporca e fatiscente, si entra nel palazzo e si peggiora solo, 3 piani a piedi, scale strette e dire sporche è dire poco, pezzi di intonaco ovunque. L'appartamento ricordava le foto di qualche anno fa e aveva tanto potenziale ma tenuto molto male, davvero sporco. Lo avevo scelto perché desideravo cucinare qualcosa la sera ma non sono riuscita, la cucina è ben attrezzata ma non ho avuto il coraggiodi toccare nulla. C'è cattivo odore di chiuso quando si entra, in bagno c'è una seconda stanza in cui si trova una lavatrice in funzione con i panni dei precedenti ospiti, lenzuola totalmente stropicciate ma pulite, il che mi ha convinto a non andare via. Credo in Norvegia non si usi lavare a terra, in controluce il pavimento era pieno di macchie, c'erano capelli arrotolati e polvere sparsi in giro, un'orchidea quasi morta perdeva petali in continuazione, affianco c'era una zanzara morta. Non ho mai fatto una recensione così negativa ma la mia esperienza ad Alesund è stata rovinata da questo appartamento. Sicuramente offre il posto auto e la posizione è ottima, il prezzo rispetto agli hotel in giro è più basso ma comunque non meno di quanto io abbia pagato in tutti gli altri posti in Norvegia. Avevo chiesto all'host se ci fosse possibilità di caricare la macchina elettrica ma non ho ricevuto risposta, solo messaggi automatici su check in e check out.

El menaje no estaba muy limpio, tampoco había para poder limpiarlos. Las sábanas y las toallas podían estat mejor... La limpieza correcta pero justita. Si solo vas a dormir perfecto, si vas a hacer uso de cocina mejor llevarte cosas.

Location is good

Host is horrible. The unit was supposed to include a parking pass for a designated parking space. I notified the host upon check in that it wasn’t there. He never got back to my numerous inquiries if it was okay to park there. I subsequently received a parking ticket. False advertising and horrible communication. You are better off staying elsewhere.

沒有電梯，住四樓，無法把行李搬到公寓。民宿入住、停車指引不明確，花了不少時間才找到公寓及停車位。入口簡陋荒蕪，樓梯狹窄、不乾淨，廚房用具簡陋、髒亂。入住後，有問題想告知民宿主人，卻未得到任何回應。

De locatie is perfect, vrijwel in het centrum van het prachtige Ålesund. Gratis parkeren is ook een groot pluspunt. Het appartement is op zich prima en we hadden voor ons korte verblijf alles wat we nodig hadden. Toch heb ik een aantal opmerkingen

Het appartement was niet schoon, met name de keuken had echt een grondige schoonmaakbeurt nodig. Het meubilair is versleten en de douchekop is duidelijk aan vervanging toe — hij lekt aan alle kanten. Het gebouw waarin het appartement zich bevindt, maakt een verwaarloosde indruk en deed ons denken aan een drugspand. De communicatie met de eigenaar verloopt moeizaam: je ontvangt veel automatische berichten, maar als je ergens op reageert (zoals een verzoek voor een vroege check-in), blijft een antwoord uit. Al met al vind ik de gevraagde prijs veel te hoog voor wat je ervoor krijgt.

The apartment was really lovely, modern spacious comfortable. Having guest Netflix on the tv was a nice bonus and the host gave us good tips for our short stay in Ålesund.

The several flights of spiral stairs up to the apartment it was quaint but you’d need to keep the luggage light.

Central location. It’s like an apartment with lots of space for lounging, preparing meals if one chooses to do so, and a dining table. It has an oven, microwave, coffee maker, hot pot and large refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer off bathroom which we did not use. Parking space is provided if one has a car. Public transportation is nearby as well. There are a variety of restaurants and pubs as well as a grocery store and bottle shop in the area. The host did a great job of providing photos of where to park, how to get in, spiral staircase to get to top floor, etc. It was full disclosure of what to expect and was accurate. Appreciated hosts recommendations of walks and favorites for coffee, hikes, eating out, etc.

Would appreciate a dish towel and dish rag in kitchen area for wiping hands, countertops and dining table.

Nice location, very central and easy to walk into the centre. Bed was comfortable.

The entrance was very tired and needs work as the paint is coming off the wall, the downstairs door didn’t lock. The apartment itself was tired, it felt like it has been modernised many years ago and the host is just ringing all of the money they can out of it. Finally the bedding, literally threadbare and has never seen an iron. Quite disappointing.

Location and good price . Host is very hospitable and provided good suggestions and support.

It has 4 floor .. and no elevators . Rest everything is good .

It was easy to find, thanks to the detailed instructions from the host. It was clean, spacious, well equipped and had bus stops, grocery store and restaurants nearby.

1 When we checked in washing machine and dishwasher was running. All kitchen towel, bath floor towel, bed sheets were being washed together. Not hygiene! 2 Power went off 3 At the time of booking, it wasn’t made aware that aptm is at 4th floor.

A bit awkward access to the top story apartment, but owner gave copious photos and assist to make it easier.

The apartment was freezing cold when we arrived there's only 1 old AC in the hall area ( which can't cover the whole big apartment). Not a single sponge or wipe in the kitchen - would be useful.

Perfect location in the absolute heart of Ålesund! The property is conveniently located to the bus station within short walking distance from bus stop, port area, supermarket and major sightseeing attractions. Apartment is bright, clean and with all amenities for a comfortable stay.

It was not clean , and had a bad smell. The refrigerator is dirty full of water and black marks. The oven is dirty as well. Lacks kitchenware.

I liked the central location and it was very spacious for our family of three to stay for two days.

It would be helpful to have 12 on the actual wooden gate of the entrance. Also a window blind in the second bedroom.

Bathroom Lack of communication. There was no parking pass left for us and I tried to communicate about this but did not hear back.

The location is amazing, and having free parking here was so helpful. The place is really big which is a nice change from tiny hotel rooms. Other than the original dramas when checking in, the place was amazing.

We were only sent check in information when we asked for it. When we arrived, it was obvious the place hadn’t been cleaned from the last guests. It meant we had to wait over an hour so the cleaner could go through, meaning we couldn’t use the kitchen for dinner as originally planned. Sheets weren’t set up on the second bed so we made it ourselves. Washing machine was put on when we returned so we had to stop the cycle and remove everything ourselves so we could use it.

Easy access, great location, clean and very spacious. All You need for a day in Alesund. Recommended. Parking available included in price. Even the stairs didn't make any difference :)

Nice location, big apartment area, 3 rooms, kitchen equipment.

Very aged house with no renovation for decades. Entrance is via old yard behind wooden fence with no signs with the big garbage containers. There was crumpled bedding in closets and still working washing machine in the bathroom. Shower with dangerous wobbling glass walls. The beds were not prepared for 4 guests. The dish washing machine was full of the dirty dishes from the previous guests.

Central location. Good description how to find the entrance. Big appartment. Owner is communicating well, fast replies.

Super disgusting fridge, it is moldy and dirty. Some plates were dirty and some dust on the floor. You hear constantly the car noise from the main road in front of the appartment. Take ear plugs. The drain in the shower works not properly. If you shower you flood the bathroom.

Getting up to the apartment was a bit hard going without a lift otherwise all OK

Its was very cousy and comfy.

Location of the house and the parking space is close to the flat. Big livingroom and bathroom.

There was no light / electricity in the hall, front of the main door and in the second bedroom. A bag of garbage was left right next to the front door. Bedsheets, towels, etc weren't ironed at all and fride was dirty.

We had a great weekend in Ålesund. The apartment met our expectations.

There`s no elevator. It`s at the fourth floor. Just keep in mind that if you are old or handicapped this apartment might not be for you, as it could be dangerous walking up the stairs.

If you would like to stay in the city centre with spacious place and comfort. This is the place. The penthouse was very clean and the instructions to get into the building and the apartment were very clear. It is on the 4th floor, which was totally all right for us. We also received chocolates on arrival placed on our bed which was a really nice touch. There were all the amenities such as toilet paper, kitchen rolls etc available in the storage cupboard. The living room was very spacious which was the highlight of the penthouse I would say. There were also few games (puzzles ) for some entertainment and tv which could be connected to your phone or laptop to view anything other than what was available on the tv. The bathroom was clean and a marked, in case the floor might get wet and slippery. Would recommend a floor mat near the bath area. Otherwise it was perfect. You also have washing machine and dryer in case you would like to throw in your laundry. We had an absolutely comfortable and cozy stay. Would highly recommend the place to anyone visiting Ålesund.

The board on the door of the apartment could be highlighted and little bigger, to avoid confusion with the 3rd floor apartment.

Great. Ad said entrance was a bit so so, and in fairness it was. But well worth it, as the appartment was great in all senses. Spacious, clean and comfortable. Instructions were also very good and accurate

Two smoke detectors didn't have batteries & none were provided. Apparently there is a fire extinguisher in a cupboard. Dumb place. A sign highlighting what to do in the event of a fire should be in the apartment. It is a potential death trap. The spiral staircase with 55 stairs wasn't mentioned in the description. You wouldn't call the entryway a playground. I couldn't open the dishwasher or washer/dryer. Couldn't increase the volume on the tv. Glass in shower was dirty. Some out of date food in cupboard.

It was a bit hard for us to walk up the stairs with two young boys and our suitcases

the place is great in a great location. it's really close to what I would imagine is the city center. getting in the apartment was easy with the instructions given, no issues. the kitchen had everything you need.

the apartment is on the 4th floor, no elevator. we didn't know this in advance. I believe this is something that should be disclosed in the apartment description. it was practically impossible to make the small bedroom/living room dark during the night. this was an issue since the sun came up early and set late in the summer. I think some type of shading should be added.

Spacious, clean, and great location. The owner was very responsive and eager to meet all our needs. Good for a family of four with little kids.

The owner provided a picture of the entrance in the welcome email. However, we were looking for the door with a code that was located inside a non descriptive entrance. This led to a bit of confusion in finding the place. Also, the single sofa bed is not fit for adults with long legs.

Was centric and affordable price.

Not fully equipped (the bathroom didn't have hand soap). Bathroom slippery (what can be dangerous if travelling with kids or old people) and this can be fixed using a feet towel. The couch is not meant to be used as a sleeping bed as said in the description; it's not a sleeping couch. Third floor with no elevator (this was not explained in the description and it is important to say if travelling with kids or old people). Little details can be fixed and would make the experience way more fun.

The apartment was spacious and well-appointed with modern hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, and sufficient crockery & cutlery. Beds and couches were comfortable The location was excellent close to the centre of Ålesund The communication with the owner was good and his directions to the property and free parking space (much appreciated) were accurate

The outside and entrance was rather shabby and required a lot of steps (57) up a steep spiral staircase. As we have found in other apartments in Norway little in the way of toiletries were provided. Travellers expect hand soap, body wash at least. Also some kitchen linen e.g. hand towel, tea towel.
