Reviewed Mar 21, 2026Gated community made us feel safe, the design of the villa with the security gates added that extra reassurance. The villa is very cute and cozy, it is also at a quiet neighborhood, so it’s the perfect place to unwind, read or even write a book, relax and avoid the crowds. The kitchen is relatively well-equipped, you won’t have to buy extra utensils. China Mall and Riche Terre Mall (with a Carrefour supermarket inside) is just a short drive away.

No beaches and no nearby shopping. However no problem if you have your own car.

Reviewed May 24, 2024The compound was very safe and quiet with a couple restaurants. The location was great, most convenient for business, as the house is close to both the North and Port Louis. Our host was very attentive and easy to reach. We had a fantastic view out of our windows and a nice sound of cascades below. The parking was very convenient and the house was well equipped with the necessities. Big screen TV with all the apps. Nice terrace. I would definitely stay again.
Higher quality bedding and a new sofa would be the only suggestion for improvement, otherwise the house was quite comfortable and well taken care of.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2023Port Chambly is very beautiful, quiet and serene. The apartment was very well kept and equipped and the host was very communicative and helpful. The on site pool was great, clean and spacious (and rarely anyone else there!)
Only thing is that Port Chambly is a bit far from anything else - restaurants, bars, beaches etc - realistically you need a car or get taxis. Nothing else I didn't like

Reviewed Aug 31, 2023I was very impressed by Port Chambly and the size of the villa. There were plenty facilities for hot drinks already and a beutiful view out over the estate. The host was very responsive and accommodating.
Be aware that there are no shops on site though there are restaurants to get food at. You would be best bringing shopping in.
