Villa Meranti - Spacious Private Pool Villa

Мы провели на этой вилле 7 незабываемых дней, и это было лучшее решение! Если вы хотите по-настоящему прочувствовать природу Лангкави, не отказывая себе в комфорте - вам сюда. Вилла утопает в зелени джунглей, и каждое утро мы просыпались под пение птиц и шелест листьев. Отдельный восторг - местные «соседи»: прямо на деревьях рядом с виллой мы видели забавных обезьян, которые наблюдали за нами во время завтрака. Это невероятно атмосферно! Что порадовало больше всего: Бассейн - большой, чистый и с отличной глубиной. Спасал от жары в любое время суток. Кухня - просторная и укомплектованная по-царски. Есть абсолютно вся техника, готовить одно удовольствие. Мелочи, которые имеют значение - хозяева предусмотрели всё: гелей для душа, мыла и шампуней было с запасом, полотенец хватило на всех (и даже на смену каждый день). Парковка - отдельное спасибо за подсветку! Мы возвращались поздно вечером, и было очень удобно заезжать, ничего не боясь. Вилла просторная, светлая, полностью соответствует фото. Огромная благодарность хозяевам за гостеприимство! Вернемся сюда обязательно!

Een fantastische plek. Prachtige rustig gelegen villa met veel privacy en heerlijk zwembad.

We hadden een of meerdere muizen in de keuken. Etenswaar goed opbergen in kastjes waar de muis niet bij kan. Ook nieuwsgierige apen de op bezoek komen voor eten. Zijn erg vrijpostig. Gingen uiteindelijk vanzelf weg.

It's a paradise on Earth - garden of Eden next to the jungle. The house was a minimalist style villa with everything my family (me, my wife, 1 year old toddler, and our moms) needed. Nothing too fancy or over the top, but "exactly how I would have built it" I found my self thinking. The villa vibe reminded me Bali, meant in the nicest possible way. The garden was huge and well kept. Pool was cleaned every day and perfect to cool down. Our toddler loved exploring around the garden and swimming with us. At first we were little anxious about the little one running around the open pool and the floor tiles around the pool which get slippery when wet, but we managed to stay alive. What made the villa exceed our expectations was the location. It's hugged by the jungle surrounding it, really close to the main area. Meaning there were the most beautiful kingfishers, butterflies flying around, leaf monkeys enjoying theirselves just by the edge of the garden, macaques drinking from the pool, geckos making sweet noises etc. But getting a Grab to bring us food or get us moving was super easy. 15 min walk to the beach surrounded by views to the fields full of lovely water buffalos (and again, amazing birds flying around). Hosts were super nice - providing wholesome vibes, extra coffee tabs for the machine, knowledge of the island and sending cleaners who were nice as well. Extra: The booklet let on the premise was full of good recommendations for foodies.

Now that's just being picky - Wet tiles around the pool area makes it slippery. :)

Beautiful secluded - perfect

Lovely villa, very clean, helpful staff. We stayed longer than originally planned and they did a mid-trip clean for us and provided fresh towels etc. Check out was very fast and easy and our flight was delayed so they allowed us an extra 2 hours given no booking that night which made a very big difference to us, since hacking around cenang with bags would have been less fun.

Very minor things - I would stay again, but take real coffee to save daily ordering from Zus. I think there is some soft lighting outside but we couldn't get it working (I'm sure will be resolved as soon as the host sees this though), so we used the bright outdoor lights which attract the bugs a bit (surprisingly few mozzies in the area though). Very comfortable overall and well-equipped enough for cooking.

Would have been great if there was an auto gate for driving in and out and washer dryer

Spacious Isolated but not too much Privacy Pool size, all of us did not want to leave the pool! Surrounded by nature (trees and sometimes you can see and hear 🐒) State of the art amenities Would come again and strongly recommend staying here.

At night, somehow scary 😨 Road to location can be improved Add more lights outside Lizard, frogs, bugs can enter Hot water temperature was low (I preferred it to be higher) Waited for the pool cleaner on day 4 but did not come. Whe asked, it turned out he was sick. The management should've informed us before we asked them.

Nice and quiet and the pool

Staff weren’t able to help with airport transport. The QR code in the villa didn’t work

We arrived late evening due to our flight got delayed, but Odin was really understanding and Kak Nor was ready to greet us when we arrive at the place. Everything was amazing. Spacious and comfy villa, for the 5 of us. Good place for us to unwind and relax. Everything in the house was well equipped, well maintained. We thank you for the amazing hospitality Odin.

Have to try few times to get a grab going to the house.

The villa itself is absolutely gorgeous and the hosts are very communicative and helpful. There is some gorgeous wildlife all around you, from the field of about 30 water buffalo right outside the villa to the monkeys which swing by the trees bordering the pool. I wish this villa was better located, we would have stayed longer if we felt safer.

The villa description recommends you to rent a car/scooter, but doesn’t tell you why. The villa is located at the end of a very remote and borderline dangerous gravel path with very few other properties around it. Taxi drivers were extremely reluctant to drive up the rocky, narrow path, especially at night where there is very limited lighting. The walk to the nearest beach is at least 30 minutes, which we wouldn’t mind but we didn’t feel safe walking up this path at night. Thankfully the hosts were extremely understanding and refunded our stay. Additionally, when we arrived the pool was out of service, but the hosts were very apologetic and were already fixing the issue when we arrived.
