The air conditioning in dormitory rooms is unavailable daily from 11:00 to 14:00, and in common areas from 04:00 to 07:00.

Reviewed Jul 18, 2026I came back to stay here again because I really liked the atmosphere. The café is a nice place to relax and socialize, the food is good, and the hostel has a great community vibe. I met trekkers, solo travellers, and groups from different places, which made my stay even more memorable. Would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Manali.

As a solo traveler, I found it very easy to meet new people and ended up joining a group for a day trip around Manali. Definitely a great place to stay!

Reviewed May 23, 2026I liked the food, the preparation was good and it was well priced. The common areas, restaurant deck, terrace deck were all well maintained.
Initially I booked into their higher category room (family room with valley view), however when I extended my stay to their Deluxe room that was actually far better than the more pricier rooms, which was quite counter intuitive. The higher category room had smaller washrooms, low ceiling, poor bathroom fitings, etc. Also, I felt that in a race to optimize their operations and maintain a lean staff, they actually lose a lot on the experience aspect. For instance, they took almost an hour to get my luggage to the room when I checking in. But yes the staff were very cordial and nice to talk to. Also, I know its difficult to check the incoming guests booking their stay in a hostel, but unfortunately during my stay there were two big groups of men who were far from the city crowd that I'm used to. They would drink a lot, use foul language, and play very shady songs in common area, thus killing the vibe

Reviewed Jun 19, 2025We stayed just one night in the dorm room with friends. The beds were clean and odor-free, and so was the washroom. The café was good too. But what stood out most was the staff, genuinely helpful and friendly. Really appreciated that.
Only suggestion would be to maybe have a few more games or activities around.

But I am not happy with the fact that when solo female traveller visit at night and unable to locate the location of the property she can’t contact anyone. This is unsafe and unacceptable. There should be number that connects to property directly like Zostel does after making a booking.
