6 beds were very cramped in. We didn’t need the 6. Suppose for children ok. Bathroom was a bit cramped.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026A beautiful cosy cottage in a quiet, peaceful location. The house was spotlessly clean. It contained every facility needed for a holiday stay. There was a lovely outside sitting area. The hosts left a generous welcome food pack for us to enjoy. The house had lots of books and board games to enjoy. The location was convenient to all the spots we wanted to visit on Achill. It is a very short distance from Slí Grainne Mhaol, the most scenic walk/hike i have ever been on. I would highly recommend this self catering accommodation.
I loved everything and would happily return for another stay again.

Word to the wise don’t try to enter the sea across from the house unless you love mud!!

Full equipment for cooking etc., detailed decoration, cozy fire place and heated blankets - truly everything you need. Great location with waterside view, 5mins drive from SuperValu and in close proximity to the must sees of Achill Island. The hosts are super kind and flexible (e.g. Late Checkout). Thank you!!

Beaches & petrol station are only a short drive away, Bungalow is well equipped with everything you might need, its cosy & comfortable & well worth a visit

Reviewed Aug 25, 2024The hosts were so helpful. The house is really cute, nestled away on the estuary. Had everything there to keep us cosy despite the rain. Is kept very clean and beds were very comfy.Children had a fabulous time. We headed to dugort beach most days which was a 15 minute drive as it was more sheltered. Thank you for loan of your little piece of paradise.
You will need a car to explore the rest of achill as its a good walk to everywhere.
