4 Palms Cottage Coromandel Town

Funky cottage in lovely setting, very clean, comfy bed and huge bedroom, spacious cottage with good kitchen, quiet and off the road with good parking/carport, very close to town

would prefer larger fridge but OK for two night stay

Secluded, perfect Stargazing, walkable to town but a bit of a walk (35 minutes)

Hot water problem in bathroom after 2 min cold water start

This property was easily the best place we stayed during our New Zealand holiday. The area was quiet and private with a beautiful outlook and quite close to town. The facilities were excellent and we would certainly recommend this stay to anyone travelling in this area.

Nothing. Our one night stay was just perfect.

No breakfast included and we had to leave early due to the cyclone heading our way and we had to make sure not to be cut off and miss our flight. Apparently it was the right decision as it was cut off the next day.

Really cute cottage, Plenty of room to spread out. Had every thing we needed.

Toilet was a bit squashed in, too close to the wall.

We had a wonderful stay at 4 Palms Cottage. The property is has palm trees scattered across its huge premises—living up to its name perfectly. The location is excellent, being within easy walking distance of Driving Creek Railway and just a short drive to Coromandel Town for groceries and shopping. One of the bonus was the clear night sky on a good weather day you can sleep watching the stars twinkling outside your window. Our host was very responsive and ensured all our needs were met throughout the stay. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

We have stayed in some places over the years and this on is on the top of the list. Bed is comfortable, shower pressure is amazing and the hosts Hamish and Talei were very welcoming via messages and hand written note. The place is really nice. If it's free, don't think about booking it ...book it! We will be back 😎

This is a lovely holiday cottage in an excellent location for visiting Coromandel Town. We used it as a one night stop over on a tour of the peninsula. Easy to find and access, clear instructions. Lots of space and an outside seating area. Everything you could need is supplied and is a very comfortable space. The WiFi is excellent, the shower is hot and powerful, fan in the bedroom to keep cool. Great value for money, excellent all round.

Alles. Charmant und freundlich, sehr geräumig, sehr hell, top ausgestattet, und mit knapp zwei km sehr nahe am Coromandel Stadtzentrum und direkt gelegen an zwei Attraktionen (Driving Creek Rail und einem sehr schönen Wanderweg). Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr angenehm, super schnell und verlässlich. Außerdem konnten wir sehr flexibel um eine Nacht verlängern.

Super gut! Geräumig, sympathisch, komfortabel, tolles Areal, perfekter Stellplatz; Uns hat alles sehr gut gefallen, nicht die kleinste Beanstandung

The environment of the cottage was very relaxing. It is about 5 minutes by car to the city centre for a good feed.

There is no distinct signage to the cottage from the highway. We found it difficult to see the driveway at night.

The property was very clean and tidy and super cozy

The only thing might be the location is a little out of town but only a couple of k’s so if you have a car then no problem

The cottage is very comfy with a quality fit out.little things like quality kitchen ware ,heaters,large T.V and lots of space made our stay the best.

This was a great stay - very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. Separate bedroom from living area and separate fully equipped kitchen made it an ideal place to stay. It is private and quiet.

Unfortunately we never met the host, but it seems to be very common. I guess it's since the covid-pandemic. A little sad, because from the hosts that we actually met, in other accommodations, we got really good local tips of what not to miss in the surroundings. Thats always thankful when you are a tourist.

This was a great place to stay, we stayed two night but could easily stay longer. Very comfortable.

Two small things that didn’t really affect our stay. The TV stations were poor and the bathroom door needs some attention. These were very minor matters in the overall experience.

Hosts were lovely and went out of their way to make it easy to check in after our wedding reception. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and we had a relaxing comfortable night after our busy day.

Nice surprise as the cottage was so roomy .more like a cosy house . Credit to the young couple as the property is immaculate . . Close to town and walking distance to Driving creek railway . Which is a must to do .

Would have loved a fan in the bedroom for the night, we tried to have all the windows open in the afternoon but the summer sun was super hot and kept the place hot for a long time

Everything was good, comfy and cosy but would have been great if there was a smart TV instead of normal TV and if there was a AC as if was hot but still the owner bought as a Fan on request and it was really nice of her. She was very helpful and I Love the cleanliness.
