Quaint and very quiet set in bush , very relaxing

The host was lovely, the facilities were modern and clean and I wasn’t wanting for anything. Gorgeous rooms, lovely smelling bathrooms and a huge community area that was basically always empty. I felt isolated despite being near lots of people which was ideal

The detached bathroom being attached to someone else’s cabin made me a bit uncomfortable using the bathroom at night as I was scared of waking them, but that’s probably the only thing that put me off. I would happily stay here again with that drawback - it’s really not a big deal.

Our host was very friendly and had lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. Superb! Definitely recommend and we'll most certainly stay here again.

As we had a car the location was good - especially for the Driven Creek Railway which is definitely worthwhile. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and had good heating. Would have been fine if we were there for a night or didn't want more space.

I had booked a large room with a separate seating area for a specific reason. On arrival we were told this room wasn't available and had been reassigned to a room that was okay but not what we were wanting. It was very small, fine for a night but we had wanted somewhere to be able to comfortably chill out and relax - not just on the bed. If we had known I would have booked somewhere else.

Cute cottage. Lovely room in a forest setting. Basic, had everything I needed. Would stay again.

The accomodation was impeccably clean. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is beautifully looked after and had everything that I needed.

I love the cabin, the design, the location and the facilities.

The cabin I was in was near the road, we can hear the sound of cars passing. It was not often so it didn’t bother us that much.

Host is very hospitable and helpful all throughout the stay. Knowledgeable about tourist places to visit, road condition etc. Full cooking and laundry facilities at no extra charge. Very cheerful and helpful

Not walking distance to town

Gemeinschaftsküche war Top. Sehr schön im Urwald gelegen. Der Eigentümer ist sehr witzig und hatte gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Haben gebucht um ein Unwetter auszusitzen. Man konnte sich sehr gut aufhalten.

Der lange Weg vom Häuschen zum separaten Badezimmer war leider nicht überdacht. Sonst alles Top

Nice concept combining individual and well equipped wooden cabins set in a lush sub-tropical garden with a communal kitchen and both covered and open dining areas.

The cabins were very stylishly furnished with almost all that we needed. A little more room to hang up and store clothes would have been perfect.

Leuke locatie in een stukje regenwoud. Goed bed en alles zag er prima uit.

Nicely appointed accomodation and good well appointed communal catering facilities close by. Very peaceful and tranquil locality and in an excellent place to access the Driving Creek Railway just across the road. A very friendly welcome from the host Hugh with a lot of help about local places to visit and for dining out.

It wasn't a problem for us but the exclusive and well appointed toilet/shower room was, as it was described, a short walk from the accommodation which was lit all evening.

Clean and very cosy!

The cottage was immaculate. The use of space within the cabin was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the calm of the forest. The kitchen was very well equipped and maintained and we loved the beautiful picnic tables made from local wood. The location worked well for us and we were pleased with all of Hugh’s recommendations on sites and restaurants.

Time to relax and re coop, sorounding environment is just great. Everything that travellers need are within short distance. Will go there again in future.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Happiness Lodge at Hush Boutique. Hugh is an excellent host with some great tips on things to do. He even helped us find some fish for tea. The communal kitchen is well equipped and a great place to meet fellow travellers. A lovely bush feel to the setting and just across the road from the excellent Driving Creek Railway. Love the feel of Coromandel Town.

Beautiful peaceful grounds very accommodating

Très verdoyant. A la fois simple, fonctionnel, très bien décoré et au milieu de la nature.

Stilvoll eingerichtet, tolles Appartement mit genug Platz für 2. Auf dem Balkon kann man bei trockenem Wetter wunderbar sitzen und Vögel beobachten. Gute Lage direkt neben der Bahnstrecke, fußläufig 45 Minuten bis Coromandel Town. Wir durften unseren Mietwagen sogar unterm Carport des Eigentümers parken, damit die einheimischen Tauben - Kereru - sich nicht darauf verewigen. Jede Menge Ausflugstipps und Lokalempfehlungen gab es vom Gastgeber noch obendrein. Zur Begrüßung stand Milch und gefiltertes Wasser bereit. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wspólna kuchnia była bardzo duża i dobrze wyposażona. Domek daje dużo prywatności i ma piękne otoczenie.

Niektóre części wspólne na zewnątrz mogłyby być czystsze. Niestety nasz domek pachniał bardzo nieprzyjemnie kiedy się do niego wchodziło.

Quiet and restful. The birdlife was amazing. Very short walk to Driver Creek artist-built railway that climbs to the beautiful Coromandel viewpoint above the trees.

Wir waren ohne Auto unterwegs - Fahrräder konnten im Ort nicht gemietet werden - dadurch mussten wir für jeden Einkauf oder Restaurantbesuch 35 Minuten durch die pralle Sonne laufen.

Dommage que la salle de bain d’un autre logement (Haven) était collée à notre bungalow (Harmony) car ce n’était pas vraiment agréable d’entendre les gens aller aux toilettes le matin ou prendre leur douche tard le soir.

Hugh was very friendly and suggested a number of places for us to go to. The room was very modern and had useful things like insect repellent and an umbrella.

We loved everything. Each cabin feels secluded and private, we could sit outside and enjoy the bush and birds. The bed was super comfy, the kitchen area is very well resourced and modern as well as being within the bush. Hugh, the host, was very helpful and friendly. His attention to detail makes this place magical.

Hush Boutique is nested in the vegetation among tall ferns and tress. The place is very well equipped for cooking on site. Our room (Potter's) was clean and cosy Hugh give very good advice about things to do or picturesque sites to visit

We stayed here over Christmas on our New Zealand trip and it was perfect! Hugh was an absolute gent, warm and welcoming and full of tips and suggestions. The accommodation was perfect, peaceful and private. Just what we want to relax. Ten out of ten!

The Accommodation is in the middle of the nature. It is located opposite the Coromandel Zipline and the Driving Creek Railway. Driving Creek Railway is a must to do. Hugh the host is great either way body snd soul. Be sure of his support if you have any problems. The accommodation is lovingly and tastefully furnished with everything you need. There was even an umbrella and a flashlight A well-equipped communal area with wonderful seating both indoors and outdoors.

Well maintained cabins with privacy and well groomed native bush surrounds. Outdoor deck and chairs plus good room facilities. Easy access to well set up common kitchen dining deck areas. Close to local attractions and town.

Good location for access to town and nearby attractions, such as the Driving Creek Railway which was just across the road (worth a visit). Hut is modern and well-equipped, as is separate private bathroom. Easy to find. Limited parking but this was not an issue. Host made lots of recommendations. Overall a nice place to stay.

Hugh was such a wonderful host told us all about the local highlights to visit and all the best food spots. The whole of the surrounding area is beautiful and Hush is in a great location to get to see everything from.

The quiet of the setting, nestled in the natural landscape. The cottage was spacious and cozy. Hugh was really friendly and welcoming and filled with lots of great advice on activities to do around the area 🙏 the kitchen and eating area was clean and the amenities all worked really well!

Beautiful spot surrounded by native bush and birds. Our toddler enjoyed meeting the pigs and the resident eel Olly. We were staying there to visit the driving creek railway and were pleased that we could walk across the road to the entrance. The communal kitchen was spotless and well equiped. Hugh, the host was friendly and helpful.

Die Unterkunft ist super gemütlich und wirklich besonders. Alles ist mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Zimmer toll, das Bad neu und geräumig. Und der Besitzer sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben und können es von Herzen empfehlen!

The feel, vibe and atmosphere is really different. Lovely huts with raised board walks all leading to a shared communal kitchen, dining BBQ area. Peaceful retreat.

Hugh was an excellent host with great recommendations for the area. The cabin was beautiful and I was able to sit outside with a cup of tea listening to birdsong in the morning.

Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in der Natur. Ein kleiner Bach plätschert über das Grundstück. Wir haben im Guesthouse gewohnt. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem, was man benötigt. Es waren sogar Schirm und Taschenlampe vorhanden. Es gibt eine sehr gut ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche mit wunderbaren Sitzgelegenheiten drinnen und draußen. Großartig ist Hugh, der Gastgeber. Dies ist er mit Leib und Seele. Man kann sich bei Problemen seiner Unterstützung sicher sein. Die Unterkunft liegt gegenüber Coromandel Zipline und der Driving Creek Railway.

Second time I have stayed here - the setting is just unbeatable, peacefully filled with native birdsong, cozy cabins and a wonderful host.
