Prefect stay

I was asked to mark my booking as a “no show” on Booking.com so they could avoid paying commission. I wasn’t comfortable with that approach, but since I was new there, I didn’t react at the time. I also booked a safari through them, and unfortunately the guide they arranged couldn’t speak any English, which made the whole experience quite difficult to enjoy. On top of that, during the rain, water started coming in from under the closed window and flooded the floor of the room. Overall, this was the only disappointing part of an otherwise wonderful Nepal trip.

In the bathroom gas tank looked so rusty and covert with mud or so, it would be better to fix it up

It's a quiet place and beautiful with the fairy lights that they hung up.

I felt like there was almost no one (other travellers) there. A rat had pood in my bad and there was ratpoo in de bathroom. They did clean my sheets again when I asked them to though

The staff were very friendly and attentive. They helped arrange jungle safaris and suggested good spots for wildlife and bird-watching. The dining experience was very good, the food had good variety and was tasty, especially when dining outdoors in the garden.

The entire area reflects comfort. The lights and friendly staff made it feel like a place where you could truly relax. Thank you.

Hotel Staff were friendly and available. The breakfast buffet had so many options, from eggs to pancakes and even vegan choices also. And I loved the text updates on housekeeping service. Great service ❤️

The cultural experience at Hotel tharu garden left us with many stories and great memories. The hotel facilities and room services are exceptional. The staff are also accommodating and friendly.

This hotel felt like a natural home away from home. I was impressed with the level of comfort and attention to details. And safari tent was like just wow, my stay was perfect. Highly recommended 👌 10/10

Not recommended paid 57k npr for nothing Tharu dance promised 1hr : was 30min Asked manager to make them chill before 4 hr of arrival but nothing was zero cold not fridge the bottle poor service hot 37 beers Manager absent late very very late service had to request again and again for a beer glass

The exceptional customer service at this hotel impressed me. They were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in the door. They were also able to recommend places to get any meal that we needed.

This is fantastic hotel. Our tent rooms were very comfortable. Great value for Money and location was fantastic, place was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was great, water pressure was strong and water heater worked well. Highly recommended

Great place, very affordable and the light breakfast included was great eggs, potato, fruit, toast and coffee. The price was very reasonable for what we got. The glamping tents were great had air con inside and worked well. Really nice spot.

Nothing bad just the location is about 15 min walk to the main town centre. Not far but in the heat does feel long.

Garden area is very relaxing and beautiful with some hammocks to chill out. Did an upgrade to glamping tent, which was definitely the best accommodation type in this hotel. The staff was always friendly.

Some of the rooms (except clamping tent) are in very bad condition. Even the cabins with AC are not properly sealed, tons of mosquitoes in the room, I even had 2 rats running and pooping around. Which made me then to change the room.

It’s got pretty nice gardens and open spaces where you can relax. Feels like being in an old safari camp, who I loved.

The breakfast was a little late the day of the safari but other than that all good!

Absolutely loved this stay, was more charming and comfortable than we were expecting too. Happily stayed in the glamping tent which was super comfy and spatious and cool with the aircon. The outside chairs for each tent were switched to a lovely woven bench whilst we were there. The gardens are gorgeous and calm, the restaurant good and the staff amazing. Walking distance to town, would really really recommend.

The bathroom within the tent has no roof, so we would light incense and play some music if needed a little privacy in the room, but it's easy to work around.

One the best stay and great food, wonderful safari tent and yeah they offer you jungle activities as well in very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Our room/tent was very spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area is great to chill on benches or the hammocks. It is a short 10 minute walk into the town area. The host arranged our jeep safari and also our bus tickets onward to Pokhara. He also arranged a tuk-tuk to and from the tourist bus stop to the property, which was reasonably priced. The host was very responsive ahead of arrival and during our stay. He took on some of our feedback very quickly which is a great asset to have and appreciated by guests. The breakfast was priced well. There was a rhino that came to feed in the field next to the property which was a very memorable experience for us.

- INTERNET FLYES, if you need reliable Internet, you must stay here (we were uploading lots of heavy files and it was done in seconds) - The host was extremely nice, he offered to pick us up from the bus, which made things so much easier when being tired after the bus ride (we paid 200 for that) - we decided to do an upgrade to a tent room, which we loved! It was super comfortable (the bed and pillows were the most comfortable of the whole experience in Nepal, so we got some great sleep) - some hammocks outside and a sitting area, beautiful lights at night - they provide laundry service (which is great, as things in Nepal don't dry that quickly) - they always come to tell you when there is a Rhyno in the area, and they take you to see it <3 - we did a 1-day jungle walk and a 2h jeep safari and both times we had amazing guides, that really cared to show you as much as possible, and were truly happy for us to see the animals, - the food for the jungle walk was very tasty

It was amazing stay at this property. Glamping tents was very lovely, it was my first experience in glamping and it was really really amazing experience for me. Highly recommend

It said there was a hot tub on booking.com. We knew there wouldn’t be as there were no photos but probably needs to be changed

Everything from start to finish! Family run hotel and every member of staff were lovely. so accommodating and helpful. Suraj the manager was incredible and made us feel so welcome. The room was great and the beds were extremely comfortable the best we've had since being in Nepal! Food was excellent compliments to the chef! Would highly recommend staying here. Sabina was also lovely and very helpful

Very good, much better than expected. Beautiful quiet and lovely view of the garden. Family feel food dishes are very tasty. I want to request everyone else too.

We felt very comfortable during our stay. The room was clean and the interior was good with large bed and good working AC. Tips for all the safari packages were also always available and the host was very concerned about our well-being. Services like transportation, restaurant or laundry are no problem. The safaris (Full Day Jeep, Half Day Walking and 3 hours canoeing) that we booked through the hotel were a very nice experience and very well organized. Our guides picked us up at our accommodation on time so that we were in the park early in the morning and could enjoy the whole day there. Thanks to their good experience, we were always able to get a good look at the animals and even saw a tiger and lots of rhinos up close. All in all, highly recommended.

The room was good for the money. The equipment was not the most modern, but everything worked.

I love the place and the vibe as well and the staffs are so friendly and they arranged so perfectly our other jungle activities. location of the hotel was not so far from the town so we walked around town so easily explored new places and cultures.

We had a wonderful stay at Tharu Garden. The room was beautiful and the location was just great. We walked to many things,national park and tours were also close by. The breakfast each morning was really good as well and we could each eat on our own schedule. We would certainly stay there again next time we are in sauraha.
