Es imposible subir por la escalera a las dos plantas de arriba. El la tercera planta hay dos dormitorios y ningún baño. Tienes que bajar por una escalera peligrosa, pequeña, empinada, baja que tercera planta das en la cabeza aunque estés agachado. Si hay un incendio imposible de salir de allí .Super caro para las condiciones antiguas y descuidadas de la casa

No puedes subir por las escaleras pues son muy pequeñas, te das en la cabeza y muy muy vertical. Las dos habitaciones del 3 piso no hay baño y tienes que bajar al 1. Muy peligrosas las escaleras

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026The location was FABULOUS. The neighborhood, super cute and easy to access everything in town!
The layout was not great, the only bathroom is on the ground floor very far from the bedrooms. There was little lighting in the house, the bathroom was extremely dated and there was nowhere to put your belongings. Both staircases were hard to use, you had to bend over completely to get up them, which was not entirely advertised in the listing. When we got there there was laundry left wet in the washing machine and the towels left for us were ok, but one was a chamois you would wipe a car with.

The photos on Booking's ad do not reflect the details/condition of property. Minimal linens/towels/bedding. A vase of large dead flowers was on table. The dish cloth smelled, only sponge was old, and only one dish towel in property. All that being said, the property is really in a superb location,

Reviewed Apr 12, 2026It was a historical building in a prime location very close to the city Centre with only about a 5 min walk. Cobblestone pathways leading to the house added to the historical feel. It was clean and comfortable with almost all the necessary amenities in good working condition. There was a nice view of the Bryggen from the attic.
Taxi found it difficult to find the location both on arrival and on departure. Reason probably being that it cannot be approached by car. Luggage had to wheeled uphill along narrow cobblestone pathways to reach the location. The two upstairs rooms in the attic were not very user friendly as they needed to be approached by a narrow stairway and were situated quite a distance from the toilet that was located in the ground floor. There was no dustbin allocated for this house in the immediate area outside the house making disposal of trash a little inconvenient.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026Ubytovateľ v popise udáva krb. Po príchode sme zistili, že krb je k dispozicii, síce nevyčistený, špinavé sklo na dvierkach a zároveň bez jediného kusa dreva. Ak by ubytovateľ v informácii uviedol, že je potrebné zabezpečiť si drevo vo vlastnej réžii, bolo by to v poriadku. Ale prísť na to až v okamihu príchodu, je z môjho pohľadu neseriózne a ubytovateľ ma týmto dosť sklamal. Dom je úžasný, dýcha históriou a bolo mi veľmi ľúto, že som si ihneď po púríchode nemohol zakúriť do krbu.

Reviewed Mar 24, 2026La localisation dans un quartier très typique et tout proche du centre ville. Une maison aux volumes atypiques mais agréable à vivre. La machine à laver et le sèche linge sont très pratiques La pièce à vivre avec le grand canapé convivial est confortable..
Les équipements de la cuisine, vaisselle, verres, couverts, casseroles.... Et la cuisine n'étaient pas très propres. Les lits étaient propres par contre.

Mało ręczników, jak już jest kominek to fajnie jak by było do niego drewno bo w domu zimą jest raczej chłodno, oprócz dolnej sypialni.

Reviewed Dec 28, 2025Hello! We would like to thank you for our stay in your city during the Christmas holidays. The accommodation was cozy, and being located in the historic part of the city allowed us to truly feel its authentic atmosphere, especially with the city center within walking distance. At first, it was a bit cold, but we quickly managed to warm up the apartment (all the necessary electrical appliances were available) and adapted to the vintage staircase, which we understood to be typical for buildings of this kind. We had a wonderful time. We truly enjoyed Bergen and the activities we were able to experience. We wish you peace and prosperity in the New Year. Thank you!

Kalt da vi ankom. Litt mye fuktlukt i nederste etage, der det ene soverommet lå. Dårlig renhold. Men tok det opp med husverten og han skulle ordne oppi det.

Når man bor bare 1 natt er det veldig greit om det hadde vert litt kjøkkenpapir og steikepapir til og lage litt mat enklere. Sånne småting som er praktiske og litt kjipt og bruke tid på og løpe ut etter. Ellers bare fornøyd med alt!

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Hermosa casa histórica, enorme! Lo de las escaleras no es tan molesto cuando uno se acostumbra, eso si, hay que estar preparado para subirlas, la sala de estar vale la subida. Bien calefaccionada y con todo para pasar unos días hermosos.
La casa es de dificil acceso ya que el casco histórico esta en una colina, con calles de empedrado en una ciudad muy lluviosa. No es para personas con movilidad reducida.

Reviewed Sep 17, 2025Amazing location and beautiful building. Kitchen had everything we needed and 3 bedrooms meant we had space for our family. Very rainy trip so we used the drier. Views from tops floor were lovely and we enjoyed the size of the living room.
Low ceilings are normal for this age of building but we still bumped our heads oops. Bathroom in ground floor so top floor bedrooms a bit distant, but there is a sink on top floor.
