Excellent location for easy walking into the city. House was in a quiet neighbourhood and had everything we needed, with comfy beds and great kitchen facilities (although we didn't do any cooking). Parking wasn't a problem with free on street being just round the corner. We spent more time out than in, but it was a great place to come back to and relax.
2nd double bed is against the wall - so if that's your side be prepared to climb over whoever is nearest the door! TV aerial needed to be raised up to get a picture, but this was easily sorted.
Great location and very clean. Comfy beds!
The location was excellent and the we all were comfortable with accommodation.
Ottima posizione tranquilla e sicura. Casa pulita e ben distribuita
Il patio esterno è da sistemare
The location was excellent . We found parking as advised nearby. It was So easy to walk into Galway and it was a very quiet neighbourhood. Excellent location. Tesco - large- nearby at 6 min walk away. Very easy to get around from the house. Pubs 3 min walk away. Pharmacy and doctors nearby which we also needed.
The beds were not very large. They were not a standard double in my opinion- especially the second room. With a family of 5 adults it was a struggle to sleep. Out girls (17, 22 and 22) are very good at not complaining but the beds were a student 1.5 person. For this reason I would not return. Cleanliness very good overall though underneath the sofas do need a clean.
Proximity to downtown and Salthill. Outside seating on patio.
A little love needed on the beautiful patio setting.
Friendly neighborhood and walkable to West End eateries, coffee shops, as well as the Latin Quarter. Host was responsive and gracious.
The lack of air conditioning or fans was a bit rough during a warm week, but all other aspects were great. I still wouldn’t trade the A/C issue for a hotel. This venue was quiet and the neighbors were so friendly.
El alojamiento muy limpio y bien ubicado. Para una familia o dos parejas estupendo.
Great location . Perfect for our family of 4
Patio furniture was a little old and outdoor lights didn't work . Nothing that bothered us just a note !
Grand for good mobility people stairs bit step nice accommodation very clean
Location is close to city
Beautiful home with lovely accommodations and such an easy walk to Salthill and to Galway Centre. Our family was so comfortable and happy during our stay. And Murray’s coffee shop around the corner- excellent!
Nothing! It was perfect.
Cozy, ideal location, and much needed after a bunch of days traveling around Ireland. Would stay here again given the opportunity!
Breakfast not applicable short walk to restaurants , shops and sights
Second room very small. No hot water from sinks.
- 10 minute walk from the Latin Quarter, 15 minute walk to both the Cathedral and Salthill; right around the corner from one of Galway's best pubs, The Crane Bar. - Plenty of space downstairs in the living room and dining room, outdoor patio is a nice addition. - Quiet neighborhood
- Sofa/Couch bed wasn't terrible, but the property is better suited for 4 - Much of the parking around the property is pay & display (it is a city after all) but is free after certain hours - We were out on our feet majority of the time but the TV left a little bit to be desired to close out an evening
Great location and really lovely, comfortable rooms.
The cosy retreat was just as described: cosy and in the center of Galway. It was immaculately clean and walking distance to lovely restaurants, pubs and shops in a very safe neighborhood. Staff responded immediately to our questions and we felt very much at home.
Nothing!
The property was in such a great location! It was so sweet and cozy for our family of four (kids ages 8 and 11). We loved the decor, enjoyed the patio out back, thought it was quite comfortable for a quiet night in, and appreciated the washer/dryer. It was perfect!
Everything was great!
The location of the property was amazing. It was extremely clean. It was in a very good location, easily walkable to restaurants, cafes and pubs
The shower was a little hard to control but that is likely a difference between Irish showers and American showers. Also the bathroom floor became slippery and I fell so be careful
Gorgeous house! So clean and great location.
Nothing it was great
Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Had everything we needed to make our stay easy.
Nothing
The location was great. It was a quick walk into the city.
The sinks in the bathrooms did not have hot water, even though I turned the Immersion switch on. Also, there was no hand soap to wash your hands.
Close to walk to city center. Kitchen was great and had a dishwasher and clothes washer/drier. Very clean.
Not the fault of the property but we had a rental car and parking is very difficult. Also the street is closed to traffic for school beginning and ending which we didn't know (the signs were there but we didn't notice). Location would be perfect if you don't have a car! Also the thermostat was on automatic and we turned it off and weren't sure how to turn it back on. It was very warm with heat, especially the larger bedroom.
The home was well situated in a quiet neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to the Latin Quarter and the water. The house was well appointed and very clean. I enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning before we headed out for the day. Conveinieces were all close by as well. We took a beautiful walk along the water (The Long Walk) and also the river. Galway is a beautiful picturesque city. We loved the restaurants and all of the live music. It was a very lovely stay.
Two couples traveling together. The downstairs and location were good. Upstairs not so good. Bedrooms very tight, small beds, shared small bathroom with shower. 2nd bedroom was so small no room for luggage, bed was against the wall, my husband had to sleep on couch.
Great location, just a short walk to the centre. The house was very comfortable and fully equipped. We parked just around the corner which was very easy.
Property was close to town of Galway and cafes for breakfast. The house was clean, roomy and small outdoor patio which was an added bonus.
The 2nd bedroom was on the smaller side. The laundry machine took a long time to dry our clothes.
Prefect cozy house. Newly renovated. Great location walkable to city center
The door lock was very tough
The location was absolutely absolutely perfect for a family that wanted to walk, but not be in the crazy part of the city center

We couldn't believe our luck when this beautiful house was available to stay in during one of the busiest weekends of the year in Galway. The accommodation was absolutely perfect, spotless, very homely, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to the city centre. The place was warm and had extremely comfortable beds.
It was very clean and comfortable

so nicely decorated and location
Loved everything!
good location
no easy parking. bedrooms are very small.
The property location was perfect for walking to the local pubs and shopping.
It was very cozy, great location and well equipped.
Excellent location and the house was very well presented and clean.
It was advertised as private parking, which is misleading as there is actually no private parking. You have to pay for parking, at the pay station from 0830-1830 each day. We were informed that there would be parking permits at the house but there wasn't. The house was very cold on the first night and the heating system didn't work. We contacted the host/Short Stays representative, and he came over later but was unable to remedy the issue. The next day we found out that the fuel tank was empty as the Oil Co turned up and filled the tank. Obviously the host didn't check the oil tank as he would have discovered it was empty. He did say on the first night however, that if we got a hotel, they would reimburse us. It was approx 2030, so we declined the offer of having to look for a hotel so late. The next day, after we got the heating to work, I messaged the host to enquire about getting a reimbursement for the Thursday night and refunding our parking costs. He responded with a generic message about check out and we haven't heard anything from him since. This has been very disappointing
Location was close to Galway square and was also quiet at night. Good amount of space for a group/family heading to find accomadtion in Galway City. Facilities were also handy and kept extremely clean. Would definitely go here again.
Very well decorated, comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. Close to the city centre. All the instructions were very clear and host was available at all times.
Street parking, not private parking as advertised.
such a gorgeous house & area. Our group really enjoyed our stay, so cosy & fully equipped with everything we needed. Host was super responsive & helpful. Just a few minutes walk into the centre of Galway, would 100% stay here again & highly recommend to others
Nothing really! They weren't any parking permits as the guide advised, I informed the host & he said he would happily refund us parking costs
