Comfortable stay and everything we needed were there. Awesome location. Ida and the Pugs were very friendly.

The only thing that was a big concern is the leak in the bathroom. The ceiling looked liked it were going to collapse of all the water.

Hosts were great and helped us when road got blocked due to truck getting stuck by picking us up and dropping at the location. Also, it has all the facilities including kitchen and bed for a comfortable stay.

There is dampness in the room, especially some leakage on the bathroom wall creating some damp smell when you enter the room. Also sink for utensils is very small for keeping and washing if using the kitchen for preparing meals.

Our host John and the pugs were very welcoming 😄 The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Close to town, the square and a quick drive to the beach. We stayed for 4 nights which was perfect. Lovely view from the verandah and kitchen.

Beautiful location and the place was spacious.

The bathroom was very wet when we arrived with water dripping from the roof and walls. I think an extraction fan needs to be installed or even a dehumidifier.

Wirklich tolle Unterkunft mit einer unglaublichen Aussicht aufs Meer. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, und wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Naomi hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Weil die Waschmaschine im Moment defekt war hat sie unsere Wäsche gewaschen. Vielen Dank nochmal. Die Lage mit der grossen Terasse ist traumhaft am Hang mit Blick auf den Strand von Wilderness.

The kitchen could need some more equipment for cooking like oil, vinegar, a few spices etc, also a coffee machine was missing for us (French press or nespresso) The washing machine did not work, which was a main aspect for the booking of this apartment. However Naomi helped out and washed our clothes in her machine The bathroom was a bit wet on the walls and there was a light smell in the apartment (I guess from humidity)

The host couple were so friendly, helpful and accommodating, lovely people, we felt at ease. The place was nice, neat and clean. Unfortunately, it was only one night, as we passed through, but I would definitely be returning in the future. Thank you.

Die Bilder entsprachen wirklich genau den was man dann vor Ort sieht , vor Ort sag es sogar noch besser aus ... Mega nette Vermieter die immer hilfsbereit und sehr nett sind !!! Gehen auf jeden Fall wieder hin Alles auch mega groß mit bald und Terrasse mindestens 50 Quadratmeter

Absolutely lovely apartment with everything I needed, including a washing machine. Stunning view from the patio and just up the hill from the central part of town. Naomi was a gracious and accommodating host and I would have loved to stay longer.

Absolutely everything. This place was a true 5-star stay. We were lucky to snag the one available night after it had been fully booked for weeks, and now we understand why. The views of the ocean and cliffs are breathtaking, especially from the braai and outdoor seating area. The garden is beautiful, with blooming cycads, succulents, and trees. Inside, the apartment is just as impressive — filtered water on arrival, a large fridge and freezer, well-equipped kitchen and braai setup, coffee and tea, fresh sponge, and even a washing machine with pegs. It’s quiet, peaceful, and dark enough at night to enjoy the stars. We also loved the visits from the adorable dogs. Location is perfect: a short drive to the beach and just minutes from town, with a great coffee shop (The Commonage) only two minutes away.

The stairs was a hindrance as my wife is not too mobile. There was only a weber and not a real fireplace so you could not make a real fire. The 3 small dogs barking at any movement was annoying.

Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause, hervorragender Ausblick und alles vorhanden was man braucht.

Prachtige plek. Een kleine oase van rust met een super mooi uitzicht op de oceaan en de tuin. Baalden dat we niet langer konden blijven, want de kamer was niet meer beschikbaar. De eigenaresse was ook super vriendelijk.

Das Cottage ist wunderschön am Hang gelegen, hat einen schönen Garten und man hat von der Veranda aus Blick auf das Meer. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist top, es gibt sogar die Möglichkeit zu waschen. Die Vermieterin Naomi ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Wilderness. Naomi ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Das Highlight ist definitiv die Terrasse mit dem wunderschönen Ausblick, am besten beim Sonnenuntergang mit einem Glas Wein 🍷

Alles was baie skoon en netjies en al die nodige geriewe was daar.

Daar is baie trappe en nie geskik vir ouer mense. Ons het die hele 2 dae in die woonstel gebly omdat my man van 88 gesukkel het met die baie trappe en daar nie reëlings is om aan vas te hou nie. Ons plan was om Wildernis en omgewing te verken, maar het toe nêrens heen gegaan nie.

It was nice to be met by a friendly and welcoming Naomi who guided me in and explained what I needed to know. She recommended local eateries and where to buy ready-made meals, and I happily used her suggestions which were good. The flatlet is lovely, spacious, with a private entrance and a beautiful view, an indigenous garden, lots of garden birds and a lovely patio. The decor is tasteful, and everything is immaculate. Everything you need is supplied, including a very welcome electric blanket which had a timer switch - most convenient. I was out all day every day and would have liked to spend more time at the accommodation enjoying the peacefulness, the view, the garden and the birds from the appealing patio.

It would be nice to have a mirror near a power point to be able to blow-dry hair. There are plenty of well-placed mirrors and power points, but none close enough to each other (that I saw) for a short dryer cable to be able to reach a mirror. I must remember to pack an extension cable (or look more carefully). I also prefer a feather pillow and have learned to travel with mine.

What a beautiful place to stay and hosted by amazing people. Naomi and John were absolutely amazing in making us feel welcome during our short trip to Wilderness. Greeted with a smile on arrival and made sure that we were well looked after. The room was perfect, neat, clean and cosy and had everything that you would need. Beautiful views of Wilderness from our patio and nice and close to shops and restaurants. Thank you Naomi and John. Wilderness Ocean View Cottage is absolutely perfect. During our trip in SA we booked different cottages within the same price category. This one has exceeded our expectations. Extremely beautiful garden, very nice table outside, ocean view, and extremely good room with everything included and very comfortable bed.

Fantastic view over the ocean. Nice quiet private safe location in a conservation area. Both Naomi and John were lovely hosts and very helpful, offering valuable local knowledge about places to visit which was greatly appreciated. Beautiful garden and I did get to see the sunbirds!

The host, Naomi was great, explaining all we needed to know about where to go and what to do in the Wilderness. Decor was fantastic. Had everything we could possibly need. Views were spectacular. Quiet & peaceful.

A fabulous, spacious, beautifully appointed apartment with great views over the ocean. There was a lovely garden to sit in with sun loungers as well as a table and chairs. The host sent us lots of useful information about the apartment and the area before we arrived. We wish we could have stayed longer.

I loved how cozy and easy to manage as a solo traveler it was. I had liberty to do as much as I could.
