Clean and great value for money

Breakfast was minimal and location was odd but no complaints

The room itself was clean and comfortable. There were also daily housekeeping if needed. Location wise, it is pretty close to the beach and they have a few eateries within a 15min walk. They have their own tailor and have recommended tours which you can register for. The hosts were very friendly and quick to rectify issues that we have. The swimming pool has chlorinated water and seems pretty clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and we think it is very valued for money.

The location is far from most attractions hence do plan your transportation wisely. The dogs were adorable but they do create mini messes in the lobby area and do bark a lot which could affect your sleep if you're a light sleeper.

My bedroom at this accommodation was very nice, clean and quiet with balcony and more than enough room for a solo traveller. The bed, mattress and pillows were the best I had during my trip in Vietnam. The room was well equipped with kettle, coffee and tea, mini fridge and 2 little bottle of free water every day. The room was also cleaned daily at not extra cost. The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the beach but a bit far if you want to explore the old town of Hoi An by walk. You will definitely need to rent a push bike or a motorbike. The hotel provides few push bikes but they are very old so I would recommend to rent a motorbike instead. The breakfast is enough to start the day and on Thursday we had a family dinner which was quite nice and it’s a good way to socialise with the other travellers. Hau the owner is a busy mum who runs 2 tourists business so it’s difficult to see her during the day but she gives you her WhatsApp and you can reach her there.

The pool, was not very clean and didn’t feel to go in at all. In fact no one really used it during my stay. The other little problem is the usually there’s no one at the reception as the owner who runs the place is pretty busy with another business she has. Her kids were there to help but they speak very little English and were not very helpful.

It was a pleasant room

We found that there wasn’t staff available when you needed them. When we arrived we had to upgrade to another room as we were quoted to adults two children. However there was not enough room for two children so we had to upgrade and pay the extra. The pool was green and didn’t look at appealing to swimming Over. It was far out of the way from any shops or restaurant dining making it hard to get dinner without leaving the premises. Overall, the room was small and the bikes weren’t available as they were broken

Good for the price. The location is good, just 10 minutes walking to the nearest beach. Good place if you want to relax far away from the city. The bathroom in the share room was perfect

They charged you the drinks in the breakfast

Everything! It’s a nice place to chill, relax, unwind and recharge yourself. Sparkling clean and best facilities you can ever ask for! The bed and pillow are sooo comfortable and I sleep a lot here lol. I feel like a home after 2 weeks of stay. Had chance to meet most of the family members and they are lovely! Btw, was lucky to see the puppies of tiger, so cute. Highly recommended!

I loved everything about my stay here. But obviously, the people managing this charming place are the best. There is something for all budgets. The single rooms are amazing and the dorms are super comfy. I had a bunk bed and it was the most comfy I had so far in Vietnam. The mattress was gentle the way I like it. Beside that, there is an amazing swimming pool and it’s just so well located, close to the beach and the rice fields. Furthermore, it’s a 10 min ride from the centre. Like you can read from the rest of the comments there is a tailor inside and you can ask anything you want, showing a picture, they’ll make it for you. And it’s way cheaper from what you’ll find in the centre and a plus is supporting the family business. They are also so accommodating and kind. I just booked a couple of days initially and wanted to extend but it was all full by then; they found a way for one night. Big love for them! Thank you much! I loved my stay very much ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

The staff is very friendly and helpful. I also liked the bathroom which was very clean and big. The atmosphere there was in general really nice and I felt comfortable and safe. If you like to have it calm then it’s a good place because it’s not very close to the center.

In the price there’s breakfast included but without any drinks (you need to pay an extra fee for that) and from the food menu you can choose only one dish which isn’t much and the pancakes were too oily for me.

New guests are greeted with "welcome home," and that's exactly how it feels 🥰 The entire family is incredibly friendly, and we could talk to them for hours. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes from the beach. You can borrow bicycles for free or rent a motorcycle to ride into town. The hotel also has its own tailor shop, which the family also runs, and they made us several perfectly fitting dresses, shirts, and a suit within half a day - we've never looked so good 😜 The family dinner at the hotel was also a feast! Delicious food and a great atmosphere! We would return to Hoi An any time just for this hotel 😊

We found this place last minute and it was a really lucky choice. The host is absolutely amazing and wonderfully helpful. She gave us a lot of tips what to visit. The hotel itself is very clean and the beds are the most comfirtable we had in Vietnam. :) They also offer free bikes so it takes a minute to get to a charming small beach.

Staff are helpful and welcoming. The villa is lovely, modern, and clean. The breakfast was great. It's a little far away from all the town excitement, and you may need a bike or a taxi to get around, but it's really nice and quiet. Walking distance to the beach :)

Cannot fault this place! Absolutely beautiful building with a pool, lobby area with comfy sofas, dining table. And right down to the last detail: queen size dorm beds, mattress comforters, large shower with two settings, AC, balcony, classy and understated interior design, choice of 3 breakfasts. And the family who run it are really friendly, invited me to eat with them, offered me a lift to a nearby restaurant. Two gorgeous lil puppies. Five stars all round. Highly recommended!

They provide a bicycle because its far from town. Will help with booking tours, transport and scooters. Pool looked nice but it was cold/rainy during my stay so didn’t go in

Im the dorms there are no curtains on top bunks or outlets to charge your phone up there. No one has their own reading light. Far from town, but that was on me for not reading the description.

Would absolutely recommend staying at the Sun Paradise Villa if you visit Hoi An. We were originally planning on staying just for two nights, but we enjoyed the place so much we actually ended up staying there for 7 nights. The beds are probably the best we have had in Vietnam, the duvets are really comfortable and the rooms themselves are clean, spacious and modern. You can really sense that the villa itself is drawn by the husband of the host, who is an architect, and specially designed for hosting both visitors and the family itself. The location next to the beach in a quiet area is really nice, and you can easily go to the old town from the villa. They provide a bike rental free of charge, and also motorbike rental. It is just a five minute walk to the private beach, or a relaxing bike ride to the more famous (but also more busy) beaches of Hoi An. The host and her family are really warm and welocoming, they arrange family dinners twice a week so you can easily meet the other people staying in the hostel and also get to know the owner and her family better. The location of a family tailor shop in-house by the reception/dining area is really convenient, and you will get the special experience of fitting clothes while your travelling company enjoy their breakfast. This will also save you trips to the old town for fitting. We found the prices really reasonable, and we are really satisfied with the fit. The quality of the fabric seems really good. The place is also perfect for dog-lovers, as the family has two small puppies. The boy pup Tiger is a little shy, but the girl pup Larou is quite cozy.

The only thing I can think of is that the water in the shower took some time to get warm, and that the wifi sometimes was a little bit unstable, but that goes for the entire Vietnam I think.

Fantastic place with a very homey atmosphere. The owners are fantastic, very helpful and they even make a family dinner twice a week, where it is possible to meet the other guests. I would def recommend

The hosts were amazing, suoer helpful and friendly. Rooms big and clean, modern and very nice pool. The breakfast pancakes and the fresh orange juice are a must try! There is also a cheap tailor inside the hostel, although quality is not top notch.

The Swiss dude, Gian, who is living there was a bit annoying. Especially his sexist remarks were a big nono. If you don't like dogs be aware that there are two not potty trained small dogs. I think the AC wasn't working properly, but it was still comfortable. If you like to take a hot shower, you might not be satisfied with the water temperature.

The location is perfect. We were looking for a place by the sea but far from the crowd. We found it at Sun paradise villa. The room is comfy and nicely decorated. There is almost nobody on that part of Cua Dai beach. Days were relaxed and easy. Several restaurant and a mini market nearby The other side on the beach is An Bang. It comes with more life and more tourists. The family running this homestay is very nice and friendly. It was very interesting to chat with them. We highly recommend that place!

Super friendly owners! We could rent a scooter cheaply and they gave us great recommendations on where to go. The room is super spacious, has a very modern design and also lovely wooden furniture. The beds are super comfortable. We actually liked this place so much that we decided to stay 2 additional nights. It is in walking distance to the beach and some really good restaurants!

Hau was a super sweet host and she made us feel at home. The villa was modern and spotless, I liked the pool too, nice cool in shadow. Very cheap motorbike rental, bicycles for free and a great tailor in the house!

The place is beautiful with a very nice pool, good breakfast. The family is also very warm and friendly. The bathroom was also very nice and clean.

We booked this location because we thought being out of town would be fine with bikes to use. However, only two of the bikes actually work, so if people happen to be using those, you can't get anywhere. The dorm set-up is also quite odd. The bunk beds are right up against each other and the top bunks have no curtain separating them, so you're just sleeping right next to a stranger.

I arrived at 6am after a night bus. Wanted to drop my luggage off and explore the town. Was told I could check in then, go up to my room, sleep. Got breakfast that day too. Lovely family who runs it. Hâu provided a map and indicated top sights, tailors, good restaurants and more. Amazing pool, free bicycles to use (although I didn’t). Very close to the beach. Helpful with booking tours and motorbikes. In house tailor, extremely quick and reasonably priced. Comparable to tailors in the Old Town Include breakfast had three options. Fruit salad and pancakes I had were delish.

Not sure the rates for motorbike rentals (both in Hoi An and for the Hai Van Pass) were the cheapest available in Hoi An. Speedometer on first bike didn’t work. But you pay for the convenience of having the bike dropped off for you.

The receptionist, the room is spacious, you’ll meet John there, he’ll suggest loads of restaurants, he’s a chef. He’s warm, friendly and helpful. If you need help finding good food ask John.

This was our favorite accommodation during our 3 week vacation in Asia. Hau was the friendliest host/hostess we had, and everything was so clean! She had great recommendations for activities and breakfast is made to order and delicious! Sad we couldn't attend her family dinner, as we heard great things about it. We hope to be back and visit again.

We had a awesome time at the sun paradise villa big thank you to our host's❤️ we felt like being part of the family! Close to the beach (3min by bicycle 25 to Town). Small shop nearby. I highly recommend this place!

The staff are so kind. Family run felt very wholesome. Food is great. Location is right by the beautiful beaches. Free bicycles you can use to explore the local town. Many restaurants around. Met so many lovely people. Went to the beach at night and swam with plankton. Lovely pool. Definitely stay here if your looking for a nice quiet location away from busy town.

Great atmosphere and a beautiful family that runs the hostel. I stayed in a private room and it was the equivalent to being in a four star hotel. Hao’s husband is an architect and designed the building and did a great job in doing so. Located just out of town by the beach, slightly cooler weather here which makes it a nice little sanctuary to escape the crowds in the centre of Hoi An. Can easily hire scooters or grab a cab into town within 10 minutes. Food was superb and the in-house tailor can accomodate anyone’s particular styles. Family dinners that occur three nights a week are also a great opportunity to meet others staying there and to bond with the family who make local food for you. Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in!

This place was fantastically located, nice and quite away from the noise but not too far to ride in when you need something. Hậu and Thắng were very accommodating and you felt part of the family here, they were extremely helpful in organising anything needed and Thắng is an extremely good cook for the family dinner which I highly recommend joining when it's on.

The owners treated me as their family.. I messed up real bad when I forgot few of the belongings and the owners had to drive back and forth thrice once to drop me and twice to get my things because I didn't remember everything that I left at once. But they still smiled at me and went through the whole trouble. The stay was cozy and everything was very clean. The place is near a beach which has very less people. The beach feels very private. And for architects the owner is an architect and the hoise is beautifully designed.

I just wish there was plugpoints close to each bed. But there are plenty plugpoints for everyone. It worked out for me as I was out most of the time and just slept while in bed charging my phone on the table.

Maybe the best hostel I ever stayed in Vietnam! The food is really good, pool is refreshing, 5min walk to the "private" beach. Family was really helpful and the hostel is very clean, you can also make suit/dress from the hostel cheaper and more professional than in the old town! You can rent the scooter (also in the best condition so far) and tours/transportation with them

This is the perfect place to stay in Hoi An. It's a quick scooter ride to the action, but in a quiet area without street noise. There is a few local places to eat and a store nearby. The building is nice and new. The pool is a god send for the mid day heat. AC and wifi are good. The hosts are lovely people who really do a good job in every way. You can get food, scooters, book tours, and even have custom clothes made on sight. Really nice and social hostel.

More plug ins would be nice in the dorm, but it wasn't a huge problem.

Location is far from basically everything, but worth it for the people you meet there. The dorm beds are 4 beds connected in a square, so you sleep very close next to someone (without a curtain).

Hau is a great host, she'll help you with anything you need from transport, tips for restaurants, what sights in the old town to see and what to avoid. The hostel has very personal and social vibe. There is a living room and a pool where it's easy to get to know the others travellers for a chat or a drink. Or just to lay on the couch to relax after a long day. You can rent scooters, there are free bikes and I highly recommend the dinners organised at the hostel. Great local food, great value for money. The hostel is located closely to the beach and overall it is a great place to relax away from the hustle of the old town. But if you want to dive into hoi an it's just a 10min scooter ride away.

The location isn't great - not a walkable distance into town but there are some nice beaches you can walk to. A good place if you have a bike (or you can borrow their bicycles) or if you don't mind taking Grabs into town

Hâu is one of the nicest hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. She creates an extremely welcoming, family-like atmosphere in her hostel. The breakfast and coffee are great and the beds are comfortable. Hâu’s sister has a suit & dress tailoring shop in the hostel, I bought two suits and they’re great quality for a very fair price!

I’ve never felt this welcome in a hostel before, the family is so so so nice. And for the price it is amazing with a very nice breakfast!

this was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. The host and her family went out of their way to make my stay the best possible. the area is outside the chaos of Hoi An center and everyone seems to know each other in a good way - the restaurant owners gave me a free ride home on the motorbike every evening because they know the family. Check-in was great and I was provided with lots of useful info about what to see and do and if they were going into town they would offer me a lift or to have lunch with their family. All round an amazing place to stay and I recommend it to anyone. Also the banana pancakes for breakfast were amazing!!

This villa is an absolute Gem near the beach in Hoi An. The host, Hau, is super caring and will make everyone feel like family. All guests bonded over a typhoon, where Hau fed everyone, made everyone feel safe and comfortable.

Nice owners, good pool, good food, close to the beach and free bicycle to use to go to hoi an. Me and my friends enjoyed this place that we decided to stay longer. It is very clean and perfect to enjoy the beach and hoi an. I would recommend to stay here an not in the center of hoi an. You can grab a bicycle or a scooter if you want to go to hoi an. And to the beach you can walk. It is super close.

Literally the best place I've stayed in Vietnam. The owner is incredibly helpful and when you check in she gives you a map and recommends the best places to go for food and shopping etc and how much to pay for things. They treat you like family and will help with whatever you need. The rooms are clean and bathrooms are super nice, the pool is nice and cool and great during the heat of the day. This place is incredible value for money, and is close to the beach and you can take a bicycle to the shops for free. Absolutely excellent and highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Hoi An.

I am so glad I found this property - it was absolutely perfect! I ended up staying for a week, not just a few days, and had such a lovely time. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, a great choice of free breakfast (fresh fruit, banana pancakes...) and the property itself was stunning. The pool outside was amazing and there was access to a private beach just down the road, and local restaurants (go to Mate!). Can't believe it was such good value for money, it felt very luxurious! They also had bicycles that could be used to cycle into Hoi An or along the coastline.

the host was extremely welcoming, really made me feel like part of the family when I was staying. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Really informative with things we could enjoy in the area, lots of recommendations and ideas of things to do. Free bikes on the property which you are welcome to use whenever you like, close to the beach, food for a great price cooked at the property. I love the added feature of a pool that’s free to use, I haven’t stayed in many hostels which offer so much for such a modest price. nothing I can say to fault this property!

I booked and paid for 2 deluxe rooms for my family and when they got there they tried to put everybody into 1 family room. They said they didn’t have both bookings and they didn’t have another room. I was staying at the Sunrise Premium Resort around the corner when I got the call for help. When I got there I kicked up a fuss, showed them the booking and told them it was their problem. The lady manager just glared at me and was extremely unapologetic. Suddenly out of nowhere a deluxe room became available to us. In my opinion because my family was Vietnamese they tried to bully them and pull the wool over their eyes. Thank goodness I was there and just outcome resulted. I believe they had every intention to rent out the room I paid for. Location is good near the beach. Food is deplorable. We ate dinner because we had it included in our stay and we were hungry. Nobody touched breakfast - not good. If you want to get a good night’s sleep then this is not the place as there are people drinking and being rowdy until the early hours of the morning.
