ENSO Retreat Hoi An - Rediscovery & Serenity

Ein grünes Paradies. Schöne, weitläufige und gepflegte Gartenanlage. Drei Pools in unterschiedlicher Größe und Gestaltung, die auch zum planschen mit Kleinkindern ideal sind. Das Personal, egal ob Pförtner, Rezeption, Restaurant, Zimmerservice oder Gärtner, war überaus freundlich und sehr bemüht. Das Shuttle in die Altstadt fuhr zu ausreichenden Zeiten und war zuverlässig.

Das Menü, sowohl beim Frühstücksbuffet als auch Restaurant, bot leider sehr wenig Auswahl für Vegetarier und Veganer und muss dringend erweitert werden. Zuckerfreier Joghurt und Säfte sollten ebenso angeboten werden. Das Zimmer war groß, besaß aber deutlich zu wenig Möglichkeiten, um Klamotten und Gegenstände zu verstauen. Zusätzliche Regale, Kleiderstangen und Kleiderbügel sind definitiv nötig.

This place has no right to call itself a retreat or even have the word 'serenity' attached to its name. They explained about having "no TV" in the rooms because they are a "retreat" but a retreat is about more than having no screens, it's about valuing peace and quiet The resort attracts many families so expect SCREAMING and RUNNING children around the pools. There are 3 pools and rules are displayed but nothing is enforced. Guests are free to shout, play loud music, throw balls, smoke cigarettes and jump into the pools Because the rooms had very poor soundproofing, we had to move twice. While this is also completely out of the resort's control, it is right next to a local neighbourhood and we could hear karaoke from our room until around 10pm as well as loud music and bass throughout the night coming from different areas nearby. The staff were apologetic and dealt with the issues when we complained which we appreciated. However, no compensation or gesture was offered.

Everything perfect! It is not close to beach or old town but there is shuttle and bicycle ❤️

The resort is amazing and very clean. The staff is exceptionally nice. We absolutely loved our stay.

Heerlijk hotel wat verder van het centrum van Hoian, maar ze hebben een gratis shuttle dienst en met Grab bnen je er ook zo. Ontbijt was prime geregeld in de ochtend en er zijn 3 zwembaden

Zwembaden waren heerlijk, maar ik zou het persoonlijk prettig hebben gevonden als er wat meer schadus zou zijn in/bij het zwembad. Eind middag / avond was er voldoende schaduw in een van de zwembaden

Struttura bella nel verde, cibo di ottima qualità sia a colazione che a cena. Comoda la navetta per andare in città (circa 10 minuti di auto). Ci sono tre piscine davvero godibili nel verde con un ottimo e puntuale servizio bar by-the-pool.

Camere molto spoglie, sarebbe carino renderle più accoglienti perché l'arredamento è molto molto basic. La posizione non è ottimale per visitare la città di Hoian.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful hotel! The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by palm trees, flowers, and beautifully maintained gardens that make you feel completely connected to nature. There are three swimming pools, and clean towels are always available, which is a great touch. The staff were truly amazing, extremely kind, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. A special mention to Rose, who was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. We were also pleasantly surprised by the birthday cake the hotel prepared for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more special. Thank you so much, Rose, for everything! Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful place to stay.

There are a few things that could be improved. One of the swimming pools was extremely warm, so it was not really possible to enjoy it as a refreshing swim. When we arrived, two doors in our room were not locking properly, so a technician had to come and fix them immediately. We believe this should have been checked before our arrival, as the room could not be properly secured. The refrigerator also did not have a freezer and was not cooling very well. We informed the management, and they took care of the issue. Regarding breakfast, there was a good variety of options, but the quality could be improved. In particular, the jams, pancake chocolate spread, and honey/syrup were quite low quality and did not really match the overall standard of the hotel. These are relatively minor points, but addressing them would make the overall experience even better.

Rose helped us organize wonderful trips, gave us excellent restaurant recommendations, and was always there with a smile, patience and genuine care. Her kindness and personal touch made such a difference to our experience. She also helped make my husband's birthday celebration truly unforgettable. The thought, warmth and care that went into making this special occasion so memorable touched us deeply. We travel quite a lot, and we have stayed at many wonderful hotels, but meeting someone like Rose is truly special. She is a remarkable person and a real asset to the hotel. The pool, the breakfast, the atmosphere.

150 euro just disappeared from my wallet. I went to the reception, they said that they did an investigation and didn't find any suspect. Very disapointing experience for that level of resort. They didn't offer any compensation either. So make sure you put all your valuable things in the safe.

Nous avons adore jardin très beau et très bien entretenu, les piscines, le petit-déjeuner de très grande qualité, le restaurant très très bon, le personnel accueillant. C'est vraiment un endroit paradisiaque !

La clim un peut trop froide dans la navette. Mais elle était toujours à l'heure, gratuite, et nous emmène à la ville ou à la plage.

Het management van de catering is echt onder alles. Daar moet een manager bij staan die er iets van kent; Het zijn allemaal, heel vriendelijke, amateurs.

Zeer mooi resort. Erg vriendelijk personeel. Gratis fietsen beschikbaar. Uitgebreid ontbijt, maar het was wel druk. Er rijdt een shuttlebus naar het oude centrum van Hoi An. Je kunt ook fietsen, ca 20 min. Taxi's zijn er ook voldoende. Lekkere zwembaden met fijne ligbedden en badhanddoeken.

Het meest nabij gelegen strand wordt momenteel opgespoten/gerenoveerd. Het meest dichtbijzijnde strand ligt nu op ca 20 min. (An Bang) We hebben tijdens hevige regenbuien last gehad van lekkages door het rieten dak. In de buurt het het resort zijn maar weinig leuke restaurantjes. Hiervoor moet je naar het centrum. Er is wel een supermarkt op ca 500 mtr afstand.

Un petit coin de paradis à Hoi An ! L'Enso Retreat est magnifiquement situé, au calme, dans un cadre verdoyant et apaisant, tout en étant idéalement placé. J'ai eu une chambre superbe avec terrasse privée, très spacieuse, propre et confortable - on s'y sent vraiment comme à la maison. Gros plus : la navette gratuite pour la vieille ville et pour la plage, et les vélos à disposition gratuitement pour se balader. C'est super pratique ! Mention spéciale au personnel, adorable, souriant et toujours prêt à aider. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir, merci pour tout !

Todo nos encantó. La atención espectacular, la limpieza genial y el ambiente super relajante. Es un puntazo que tenga 3 piscinas. Hay gimnasio y billar también, y la zona del desayuno es muy amplia con muchas mesas y que ofrece un buffet muy generoso y variado. Queda lejos del centro, pero ofrecen servicio de autobús y bicis gratis para quien no se atreva a alquilar moto.

El agua de la piscina estaba caliente constantemente. Entiendo que es por el calor que hace, pero podrían intentar enfriar el agua de alguna manera para poder refrescarte.

Een fijn, rustig kleinschalig resort met veel groen op 10 min rijden v Old Town/ strand (met gratis shuttle). Ons 2 kmr huisje lag bij een zwembadje en was keurig verzorgd. Lief&behulpzaam personeel.

Prachtig, rustig resort. Tuin is mooi aangelegd en goed verzorgd. Comfortabele huisjes en bedden met klamboe. Met shuttlebus binnen 15 min in centrum van hoi an.

Zwembaden waren erg warm (het was buiten ook 37 graden), dus afkoelen lukte niet echt.

Gorgeous resort tucked away from the madness of Hoi An but easily connected to all local attractions by cheap, easy Grab rides. Lovely swimming pools, friendly staff and such a peaceful setting. Perfect for our family of five! The rooms are just beautiful - really felt like a little slice of luxury. The children loved being able to use the poolside phone to order food and drinks.

Bij de receptie staan hele lieve medewerkers, die goed weten hoe je een welkom gevoel creëert. Elke dag even contact met Rose, die ook veel over de omgeving en activiteiten wist te vertellen. Het beeld van alle gepubliceerde foto’s is heel reëel.

Absolutely beautiful location that felt very serene and inviting. We loved the multiple pools and central areas, especially the beautifully kept gardens and flowers (thank you to all the gardeners!) The staff were excellent and went over and above to ensure our needs were looked after, particularly the manager who was extremely attentive and caring to our family, Khuyen, who went out of her way to help us with travel when were were having difficulties, and also Ni who was very kind. All of the staff including the bar and restaurant staff made a real effort with the children. This is a lovely place to stay. I hope we can come back!

It's a little bit out of the centre however the hotel runs a shuttle bus to both the town centre and the beach (both around 10 minutes), which was great and made it very easy.

Everything - the breakfast (except for the coffee) was lovely. The staff were super helpful and kind and really couldn’t do enough for us. The rooms were comfortable and clean and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool, which was also incredibly clean. We used the hotel bikes daily and cycled into the village which was so nice and it was great to have use of the shuttle bus into the town in the evenings. Thank you so much!

The staff here are absolute superstars. The receptionists booked all our taxis and excursions effortlessly. More than that, when my son became unwell, they showed immense compassion, offering free herbal remedies and genuine care. The food at breakfast and dinner was great, and the restaurant staff were very attentive. Our room was absolutely excellent in terms of quality, comfort, and cleanliness. Despite not being right by the pool, we only struggled to get a sun lounger once during our 8 days. Not many faults I would definitely stay again

Our room (508) was a bit of a trek from the main pool area, so the location within the resort wasn't ideal. We were also disappointed to be charged a flat £16 a night for an extra bed; we stayed for 8 nights and felt they could have offered a gesture of goodwill or reduced this rate given the timing of our stay.

Everything: the setting in the tropic forest, the cabin, the staff!, the pool, and just walking around the beautiful, quiet grounds. It is a safe haven from the choas and crowds of Hoi An, which is only 10 minutes away!

This place was AMAZING. I have never stayed somewhere so luxurious and stunning. Everything about this place was amazing. Great, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great resort. It is slightly out of the town centre but that is a good thing. You are in the local area which is fantastic. By the way there are THREE pools. THREE! Unreal...

Helpful friendly staff and very relaxing.

The pools are very nice and the landscaping is beautiful. The rooms feel clean and are decorated simply. Free bikes. Rode to the Coconut Grove. There is a free shuttle to Old Town and A Bang Beach. Definitely worthwhile to use to go to the beach.

Amenities and food/drinks are pricey on premise - double what we paid in other locations. Our room was situated near the jungle- must use mosquito netting. There was a pamphlet explaining the bugs and mosquito spray was provided in our rooms. Definitely use.

Enso Retreat was better than we imagined, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The Breakfast offering was one of the best we've had in Vietnam. The whole resort was very well cared for and felt really calm and peaceful but in a great location.

Everything about our stay was amazing! The resort itself is absolutely beautiful – the rooms, the pools, and the entire property are simply stunning. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. They were available via WhatsApp at any time, which made everything so easy and convenient. The free shuttle service to the city was perfect and ran very smoothly. The breakfast was outstanding with a great selection and everything tasted delicious. Overall, everything was just perfect. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Obiekt położony w rozległym ogrodzie w bliskiej odległości od rzeki. Jego największym atutem to przemiły personel, który dokładnie wytłumaczy zasady działania obiektu, podpowie co warto zobaczyć oraz zjeść w okolicy. Polecam w szczególności dla osób, które są świadome "surowości" domków. Jeżeli szukasz natury to obiekt spełni Twoje wymagania.

Bungalowy nie są szczelne dlatego należy się liczyć, że drobne stworzenie może się dostać do wewnątrz. Nas w łazience przywitało stado mrówek, dwa gekony a na sam koniec przed odjazdem pożegnał mały wąż.

Die Pools und die Bungalows. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfreich. Das Frühstück hatte stets leckere frische Salate und Suppen und viele frische Früchte

Es war schön, dass das Personal jeden Morgen nach unserem Befinden und unserer Zufriedenheit gefragt hat, jedoch war dies meistens beim Frühstück und wurde von uns eher störend empfunden weil wir in Ruhe frühstücken wollten.

We loved the friendly staff and helpful advice they provided. The resort its self is beautiful and quiet. The bikes you can borrow are also the best bikes we borrowed from any of the places we stayed.

Le style de l'hotel, le personnel tres a l'ecoute et chalheureux, les piscines et repartitions des logements, les velos gratuits a disposition et le calme ! Hotel tres propres je recommande fortement pour les familles avec enfants. Merci a toute lequipe cetait genial !

J'ai tout apprecié mais si j'avais une petite recommandations ce serait d'ajouter un peu plus de lumieres dans les chambres et un peu plus de materiel a la salle de sport.
