Casa Hostal Villa Del Rio

Es el sitio ideal para quienes aman la naturaleza, es fácil avistar muchas aves, reptiles, ardillas y hasta las mascotas son amigables. El lugar es muy cómodo y limpio. Los anfitriones son muy amables y colaboradores. . Hay restaurantes, droguerias, licoreras y hasta salas de belleza a menos de 300 metros. Precios módicos y a 5 minutos de la entrada del parque Tayrona.

Personne agréable et serviable. Ils nous ont emmenés jusqu’à l’entrée du parc gratuitement. La piscine est agréable. Le lieu est sympa proche de la rivière. Tres bon hôtel pour pouvoir visiter le parc Tayrona

Pas d’eau chaude et quelques coupures d’électricité. Et insectes et moustiques car bcp d’humidité

The friendliness of the family. The help of Duber with advice, that the father brought me to Tayrona national parque with his car. The nice breakfast, also arepas. A big comfortable room. The view on the river. The rocking chairs.

The light in the room is too strong, especially in the evening. It would be more cosy if it had an extra bedlamp on the table.

The family who manages Villa del Río was super friendly, happy to answer questions, even drove us to the very nearby Tayrona Park. The location Is ideal for visiting the park. Every morning we got freshly prepared breakfast which included eggs, arepas, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. We felt very welcome. :) The facilities were simple,but clean and tidy. The value for money is great!

Unfortunately the water in the shower was cold, but I'm pretty sure this is true for all accomodations that are so close to the Tayrona Park. It was a little difficult to find the address for the taxi driver who drove us to the hostal from the airport as it wasn't on Google, but you can just text the hostal via WhatsApp and they will give you the correct address. They replied in less than 30 min :)

Good location outside Tayrona NP main entrance so convenient 5 min scooter ride to the park entrance. Staff spoke only a little English but were very friendly and welcoming! Stored luggage for us for one night while we were inside Tayrona. Located right beside restaurants and convenience shops. Comfortable room with 2 double beds, mosquito nets and private bathroom (cold shower but as expected)

Not sure how secure the luggage store was - we left our luggage by the outside reception desk and picked up from a communal spot which didn't appear to be locked - we had no issues though.

Perfect stay for me: convenient location close to park entrance (2km), very friendly staff, great facilities, restaurants nearby ! 😃

Very helpful staff (no English though), absolutely peacfully located next to the river, very nice place, not far from entrance to Tayrona

Other than shown on the map, the accommodation is OUTSIDE of the park, around 2km to the entrance.

The hosts are very kind and helpful! We left our luggage there before going into Tayrona park for a night. After we spend two days in the park we came back and they had the room and luggage ready for us. It's very close to El Zaino entrance and the bus to/from Palomino and Santa Marta comes by every few minutes. Swimming pool was very nice to cool down. Overall very relaxed!
