Stanza carina, situata nel mezzo di in night market. Aveva un ristorantino al di sotto, comodo per mangiare.

Letto troppo basso, check in in ritardo, il bagno era bagnato quindi presumo che le persone prima di noi si erano fatte la doccia e forse non era stato pulito dalla donna delle pulizie, ma non posso averne certezze. Il condizionatore sparava aria addosso anche se spostavo le alette

Struttura molto carina e particolare, con stile industriale e una camera accogliente. Ottima posizione, proprio nella zona dei ristoranti e del mercato notturno. Nonostante alcune recensioni segnalassero rumore, la mia camera è stata molto tranquilla e silenziosa. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.

L’accesso tramite scale può essere un po’ scomodo con bagagli pesanti.

Alles hat reibungslos geklappt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Die Lage ist top. Man ist direkt am Nachtmarkt.

Etwas laute Nachbarn in der Nacht. Sie haben jede Nacht gefeiert bis 3 uhr.

Funktionell eingerichtet. Föhn, Wasserkocher und Tassen waren vorhanden. Relativ sauber. Bett war bequem. WLAN hat gut funktioniert. Zimmer war hell.

Etwas unpersönlich, weil man nur zu dem Café Personal Kontakt hatte, diese aber gar nichts direkt mit der Unterkunft zu tun haben. Sie waren aber immer bemüht zu unterstützen.

Hea asukoht. Tuba oli väike aga ilus ja puhas ning kõik vajalik oli olemas.

Es ist ein modernes und schönes Zimmer.

Es war durchgehend sehr laut! Es waren unterschiedliche Geräusche, aber leider nie leise. Das Fenster zeigte in das angrenzende Café, also wirkliches Tageslicht bekommt man nicht ab. Leider war die Klimaanlage direkt auf das Bett gerichtet. Ich hatte die Klimaanlage nachts nicht an, aber zwischendurch musste ich sie anmachen, weil es sonst zu heiß war. Leider bin ich nun krank. Ich habe keine Mitarbeiter gesehen, aber es hat alles funktioniert.

Very convenient location, spacious room. Excellent communication with the owner

La habitación tiene aire industrial, originalmente decorada. El aire acondicionado y ventilador funcionan correctamente. La ubicación es conveniente cerca de comercios y del centro de la ciudad. Hay un mercado nocturno, muy local, de 6 a 12 que puede ser interesante ver.

Es una habitación muy pequeña y aunque intentan aprovechar el espacio resulta un poco incomodo si se va a pernoctar más de 1 o 2 noches. La taza del WC se recomienda una limpieza un poco más profunda. Preferimos alojamientos que no sean auto check in porque son impersonales pero al momento de reservar esto no se informa. Aunque después de hacer la reserva, si recibimos un mensaje detallado con instrucciones para hacer el check in Como sugerencia, siempre se agradece información adicional con recomendaciones para comer o visitar cerca del alojamiento. A nosotros nos costó encontrar un sitio para desayunar ( café normal) por la zona a las 9:00 h. Todo estaba cerrado y los pocos sitios abiertos solamente tenían la especialidad local de White coffee.

Recommend for travellers. Location is nice bcs all cuisine just walk distance. Only one thing not perfect is the guesthouse not provide car parking area.

Location is near shops and many food options. Night market is right outside (6-12 pm) which could be a pro or con. Generally, quiet. Secure. Easy self check in and out.

Hat so etwas einen minimalistischen Charakter ohne dass irgendetwas fehlt. Ich mag das sehr und war deshalb sehr zufrieden. Das Bett ist bequem, das Bad modern, alles sehr sauber. Vom Hotel eingestellte Fotos sind absolut realistisch.

La ubicación está bien, en el barrio chino donde está el mercado nocturno, es un poco lejos del barrio antiguo, a unos 10-15min andando.

Si llegas antes de las 12 no hay quien te abra para dejar las valijas, un poco incómodo para los viajeros que andamos en transpote público. Yo tuve suerte porque justo llegó la chica que trabaja ahí y me dejó pasar. El baño no estaba en las mejores condiciones de limpieza; las paredes, el espejo y la cortina, entre otros elementos, se veían bastante sucios. Un detalle que me llamó la atención es que el baño estaba todo mojado al momento de mi llegada, algo que he notado en varios lugares de Malaysia. Finalmente, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba adecuadamente. Informé a la empleada, quien lo revisó, pero la situación no mejoró. Observé en los comentarios de otros huéspedes que esta es una queja recurrente, lo que sugiere que es un problema conocido que debería haberse resuelto.

Very clean and comfy industrial-style accommodation in an excellent location. Bathroom was spacious with a hot and powerful shower. Cafe owners were kind to let us store our luggage during the day. We weren’t bothered by any noise (weekday night, stayed near the back).

Cannot parking down there due to night market at 6pm. Difficult to find parking. Then, not suitable family with kids or baby because u need to climb stairs, quite steep

Very noisy till mid night 3am.Totally can’t sleep at all! After 3am, water pump sound with every second! Can’t get rest ! No sound proof! Next door close door/ talking Also can heard clearly! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY to stay here!

The bathroom wasn’t very clean, there was stuff inside the sink and toothpaste around the walls. Otherwise you’d had a higher score

The location is nice, there's a night market outside so that's good.

The rooms are not great, look very cramped and photos might be slightly deceiving here.

Bedroom was spacious and neat. The location is pretty good too.

as a solo traveller, there was no possibility to meet people there. There is essentially no common area and the place just has 5 rooms. Also, the staff couldn't provide any information about Ipoh. There was no leaflets or anything of the sort either.

It is centrally located and the room is like the pictures.

There is a nightclub nearby and from around 12-3am you can hear the base.

It was very clean and comfortable.

It could be noisy due to the night market, but it’s quiet after they are done. (The property provide earplugs)

Great room. Very clean and even cuter than the photos. Staff are friendly. Free water filter for drinking water. Great location. Less than 10 minutes walk to old town and the night market is literally right outside the door. They provided ear plugs for the noise of the market but we did not need them as it wasn’t that loud.

There is a curtain that separates the bathroom from the bed area in the room which just makes it a bit loud if someone gets up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

The night market is very accessible from this location. Very strategic.

I think the air conditioning can be improve. Very hot. Appreciate if you can improve.

Good location, in the middle of Ipoh. Good room with everything you need. You can have a good breakfast downstairs at 9.30 AM.

Sometimes a little bit noisy. And there were some stains on the blanket.

a/c was very loud, not working properly

The room is small but cozy. It is located within the Gerbang Malam area but to my surprise the noise is quite bearable.

Basically nothing because i really enjoyed my short stay

DoSomething Guest House 5 was nicely presented and clean. There was a fan as well as an airconditioner in the room which kept the room nice and cool. The night market sets up outside the door to the cafe. We found the sound of the fan with the airconditioner muffled any outside sounds and allowed us to sleep well.

Very good location. The room was clean, a decent size and could have been renovated quite recently, certainly the electricity had been done recently. There were only five rooms, strangely numbered 1,2,3,5,8, above a café with short opening hours, but there was a contact key to come and go as you pleased. The coffee and food were good. There was a terrace so you could smoke. No ashtray though.

When I came into the room, I saw they had supplied earplugs, which worried me a little. There is a night market right outside, and on two nights I could hear the bass of the music that was playing. It wasn't really loud enough to warrant earplugs, but you could hear it.

It was really cosy place, and very convenient, you can access various type of food place nearby, convenience store as well. The staff were so kind and friendly.

The building itself has long history, shophouse looked to be renovated, so the soundproof is not strong enough.

Great place to stay in Ipoh! Perfect location, very clean and very comfortable.

The room was nicely furnished with fan and air conditioning. The bed was really comfy and it was in a great location.

Everything good, but it must be nice if the homestay provide mirror in the room & not only in the toilet.

It hard for me to get ready because i need to bring everything (my makeup, hijab, pins, skincare) to the toilet. Theres no mirror in the room.

Lovely cute clean room, spacious bathroom. Bed was comfy but is futon style so close to the ground - not an issue for us. Location was good, right onto the market, we had a room back off the street so can't comment on how noisy it could be closer to the street.

Staff in the cafe below weren't very warm but we only dealt with them upon entry and exit every day to say hi so not an issue.

Not enough storage space, very hot room, no windows for outside, just for the inside cafe. Too expensive for what they offer.

It was very special to be able to stay up from a restaurant (takes me back to the old days). Despite being in the heart of a bustling night market, I didn’t hear any noise! The shower was great, the bed was comfy, the room temperature quick to my liking. Very quiet and peaceful. Very near the purple cane for quality Chinese tea and exciting tea infused food.

Everything was really great. Just felt that it was a tad on the expensive side for a room that size.

Great value for money and location was mostly positive! Conveniently located in a busy district of Ipoh's new city and was only a short ~10 minute walk across the river to the old city for sightseeing. Plenty of great, well-known food locations right outside and there's a daily night market that pops up underneath the building. Room was clean and tidy! Compact but met our expectations for the budget. Staff are friendly and we were able to leave our luggage with them after check-out to continue exploring Ipoh! We didn't try the cafe downstairs but its nice that guests have a convenient food option throughout the day right underneath.

The location was a bit of a double-edged sword as there is a night-club that plays until ~2am. The staff have taken notice of this and kindly provide earplugs for every room. Note that there appears to be no handsoap provided (unsure if the shower lotion dispenser is meant to be used as handsoap) Doors in the guest floor were all a bit creaky, they're in need of some WD-40 :P

Big, nice room with bathroom, very clean, in a central position. There's a night market right on the guest house street, but the room is on the other side of the building and therefore quiet at night. Important note, you cannot park the car on that street at night, but we easily found parking in the streets nearby. The host was very responsive, communication with him and the staff was great, they stored our luggages until check-in time and gave us useful information about parking and shops nearby.

Really enjoyed our stay in the room, it exceeded our expectations in many ways. The noise is understandably unavoidable as it is on a busy night market street however it was not an issue beyond 12am and it was generally quiet up to 8am. We really liked how comfortable the bed was and really like the aesthetics of the room. Check in was also really smooth and the host was always very friendly and approachable.

Everything was very nice and we had no major issues.

The environment very comfortable and the room was nice, clean and neat. The owner was very responsive and near with other places . Eventho, it is at gerbang malam but doesnt have a noisy sound. It quite good for solo traveller

- Not their fault, but unfortunately the downstairs cafe was closed during my stay. - The building is one block away from a nightclub, which was clearly audible until 2AM during both nights.

It was very easy to communicate with the owners, and they kindly allowed us to check in early as we took a night bus over to Ipoh. The location was convenient enough too (short walk to the old town and all the good food around!). The place itself was really cute and clean. We had a comfortable stay and would be back again if we're in Ipoh!

Was surprised that WiFi was not provided in this day and age at the guesthouse, but not a biggie since we were on a holiday so it was nice to get off our phones.

- Smooth check-in. We took the key from the owner at the cafe and the stairs to the guest house is inside the cafe. - The room itself looks good, very clean and the bathroom is nice as well. - We were provided with ear buds, so we kind of expecting for it to be quite noisy at night since there's a market there. Turns out it's not noisy at all. - Location is strategic. You can walk too if you want to go to the famous Concubine Lane etc, but with Msia's weather, we decided to go by car. - Overall, I am satisfied with it.

The only thing that I think can be improved and to make the money I spent here much worthy, is to add another mirror in the room and not only for the bathroom. Well, I ada rabun jauh, so it is a bit hassle to wear contact lens + make up with sink in between. I appreciate it if there's any mirror lah near the window to get the natural lighting too.

Centrally located, staff is very kind and check-in was very smooth (if you drive, make sure to reach the hotel before 5pm since on the same road there is a street market everyday from 5.30 onwards and you won't be able to reach the hotel by car after that). Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Check-in and checkout time are good. There is a cafe on ground floor, where you can have good breakfast.

We were warned at check-in about the possibility of hearing noise during the night, and earplugs were provided, but it was unfortunately too much noise to sleep comfortably. Not an hotel's problem, anyway, since noise came from a nearby club that unnecessarily played music until 4pm, and there was a stray dog barking for quite a while. What hotel could do is maybe, in the future, improve soundproofing of the rooms. Finally, bathroom could be slightly improved (e.g., by adding a shower curtain).
