My friends and I stayed for two nights in this homestay located strategically in the city centre which is very convenient for us to walk to shops and eateries. The self check-in and self check-out process was very well guided, clear and easy by Passion Moment management. Homestay management responded fast to our queries in the chat page. The homestay unit was spacious, clean, all things worked very well, kitchen area was equipped with cutlery, kitchen utensils, a refrigerator, a microwave oven & a water filter tap. On top of that, there's a luggage storage room at the premise lobby for the convenience of travellers' pre check-in time and post check-out time. Overall, my friends & I had a comfortable and happy stay in this homestay unit. Will stay in Passion Moment homestay again in the future and will obviously recommend it to relatives and friends.

The driveway up and down the Octagon Ipoh car park was rather narrow and quite steep which requires a good driving skill as we needed to drive to Level 7 to park at the designated parking bay.

Nearby there’s a variety of food options for selection.

The unit is well kept, comfortable with kitchen, internet TV, spacious living and dining place equipped with fridge, microwave and all amenties.Toilets are very clean with hot water shower. Strategically located, convenient, value for money. The room is clean and looks new. Towels and shampoo are provided. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and easy. Definitely recommended.I will repeat again.

Makanannya yg enak2 khusus utk lokal dan Taiwan Thai Bakut Teh. Tiramisu Italy bbrp dessert specialnya srperti peach kelapa muda dan matcha dgn puding dan kopi apalagi ditambah dgn Ceo kopi kesehatan dan Tea Shuang Hor di. Blessed Dessert.

Fasilitas rumah dan shopping center is ok jalan2 utk wheel chair masih kurang bagus karena jalam dan pedesterian masih kurang rata tegelnya antar toko. Saran sy jgn bawa pasien wheel chair, tinggalkam mereka di kedai yg nyaman lalu kita jln keliling shopping parade

The location was amazing. The views of the mountains were fantastic in the morning. Pool was great. So near restaurants and shops. Lovely spacious apartment

No facilities to store luggage. We had a bus in the late afternoon and so had to struggle to find somewhere to leave luggage for the day. The beds were very hard and not very comfortable The previous person had stored Durian in the fridge so it smelled terrible. That isn't the owners fault but they should ban Durian in apartments as it is a terrible smell.

Location. The host is polite and responsive to our enquiries.

Noise from the corridor can be heard in the bedroom near the entrance door. If gap cover is used to close the gap below the entrance door, it might help with a little insulation.

The location was good, easy self check in and out and good communication

Furniture was cheap and dated (garden set as a kitchen table and chairs) The TV was ridiculously small for the distance from the sofa. The whole building and apartment was old. For the same price we had an excellent apartment in KL.

Suitable for whole family, the centre of Ipoh, near convenient store and Ipoh Uptown

Location cannot be beat, fantastic spot to situate yourself for exploring Ipoh The views were exceptional

We had 3 apartments on 3 different levels, all had similar issues - water dripping in the bathrooms or not draining properly, our towels were completely threadbare (see the photo), the furniture was cheap and shabby and needs to be replaced. One apartment had a strong smell and a mouldy pillow. The sponges / dishcloths provided were very old and dirty, these should be replaced for each guest. It felt like they had prepared everything as cheaply as possible and was not a pleasant place to relax on a holiday. Luckily the location meant we were out and about most of the time.

地理位置非常好，很靠近糖水街，走路都可以到附近的店家以及网红的饼店 民宿在18楼有3张双人床，有浴缸，整体空间也蛮大…算是不错的，8楼有小型泳池，价格合理

Not easy to find lobby. Unit needs a coat of paint, especially bathroom ceiling Hair dryer in bathroom not working. Had problems with TV. Tried many times according to instructions, but didn't work.

Great location near a lot of great restaurants and not too far from Old Town. Check in/out very easy. Spacious apartment

Very spacious apartment, well equipped and extremely well located. The host (whom we didn’t meet in person) was very easy to reach via WhatsApp and helped us a lot with issues unrelated to the property. I warmly recommend this place in Ipoh

Nothing posh or "luxury" but all excellent.

Central location, walking distance to many restaurants & shops. Comfy beds. Quiet aircon. Clean minimalist apartment. Snoopy theme.

I wish we'd had more time to make use of the facilities. TV reception wasn't great, a bit glitchy at times.

I like the unit which has 3 beds and super liked the long sofa.

The dining table had small tiny ants. I don't know where they came from but I think there is a breeding place under the table.

Most of the popular eateries are nearby walking distance.

Access to the unit parking is a bit complicated as the directional signs are inadequate and not at easy-to-see location especially for 1st. timer. There is no additional free car park for family group.

it is convenient to go to any attracted locations or restaurants by walking. Easy to collect the property keys on arrival. The customer service is patient and fast respond. And, the deposit refund is within 24 hours.

Great locations! Most popular eateries serving authentic Ipoh local food (chicken hor fun, legendary chicken rice , bean curd dessert, baked salted chicken, kaya puff etc) is within walking distance!

The unit isn’t soundproof, but that’s a common issue with all units in Octagon based on my experience. However, the convenience more than makes up for it especially if you are a deep sleeper.

Strategic place...I can access easily (walking distances) to all the famous shops and restaurants. The condominium has the access key to our room and car park which render a good security.

Location is very convenient. Walking distance to reach out the area for food or souvenirs.

Good location and most good food can be found around this location. Prices are competitive and highly recommended.

Everything is fine except master toilet a bit of smell as we walk into the apartment.

1/ Great location, 2mins walk from a night market and several of the famous food. Short car rides to Concubine lane, several cave temples including Perak cave Temple, several malls likes Ipoh Parade, Aeon Station 18, and more famous food. Also near a famous biscuit shop, which is located right below the apartment. 2/ check in and out was a breeze and they even had luggage storage room for safe storage of luggages before our room was ready and before we left for our flight. 3/ Super quick reponse from owner for all our queries, and they also quickly replenished the garbage bags when we ran out and requested for more. 4/ spacious apartment with 2 rooms, 3 beds and plenty of room for our group of 4 adults and 2 toddlers to each have our own comfortable space and for the toddlers to run around everyday. 5/ apartment was well equipped to cater to basic needs and made the stay super convenient, example, fridge, utensils, dish soap, microwave.

Some furnishings in the apartment are damaged and in need of repair, example the toilet roll dispenser in one of the toilet is hanging by the nail, shower door rubber strip dropping off, some aircon remote controls not working. Laundry rack available in the room but there's dust on it and no hangers to hang clothes. There was a mirror hanging on the wall and it wasn't family friendly as the location and way it is simply hung on the wall hooks made it easy target and super dangerous around young toddlers. Our toddlers nearly knocked down the mirror while running around several times. thankfully we were super fast to catch it before it dropped off the hook and came crashing down. Subsequently, we had to keep watchful eyes on the mirror at all times to prevent any fatal accidents from happening. Hygiene level of housekeeping can be improved, example, dish sponge in the kitchen sink had hair stuck on it, dish drying rack cover had a thick layer of dust on it.

The toilets are dirty and old

Check in and out was easy, and the instructions are clear. The place is clean.

The doors to the bathroom should undergo some maintenance. The door between bathroom and living hall is very tight, it requires significant amount of strength to open and close the door. The sliding door between bathroom and bedroom could not be locked.

The location was convenient. A lot of shops within walking distance.

The sound proof was poor and only had one wash room.

Not as per the booking.com picture inside the apartment and not really clean . Kitchen too small and facilities not value for money. Need more attractive decoration inside the apartment.
