Provider-sourced guest reviews.
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was really good too. Best sunset spot too! Everything was perfect during our 3 night stay. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
Belle ambiance. Le personnel est charmant, aux petits soins. La piscine top 👍 Le bungalow bien équipé Bref ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The staff is extremely helpful and go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable.
I would clean up the beach of debris and trash. Dogs barking and having that many. I would have also preferred if it was adult only. We had a neighbor right behind us in the same villa. I thought it was going to be a stand alone villa. The road to the resort is a bit challenging as it is not paved and after a downpour can be troublesome. Recommend better markings to the resort. The pool water was cold.
The restaurant is really really good at a level very tough to find in Philippine, the staff is really kind and supporting.
The hotel is really into the nature, there are several dogs in the hotel and animals around. The beach in from of the hotel has a lots of seaweed, not ideally for swimmers.
Beautiful re-mote hotel with amazing service. If you’re looking to escape the crowd this place is for you! Enjoyed it 🤍
Nada. Todo perfecto
Gorgeous place, gorgeous beach. This place is a gem! It’s located in a beautiful paradisiac beach with almost no one. The facilities are great, everything is designed with care and a lot of taste. I love how well integrated the place feels with nature and the beach. I appreciated they respected the beach unlike it happens with many beach resorts in the Philippines. They organise several tours to the islands around the area.
Like it happens in many places in the Philippines roosters and dogs will keep you awake at night 😅 The prices at the restaurant were quite expensive: double or almost triple the price on a normal restaurant in the Philippines.
The beach House is perfect to escape from the crowd of coron town. Offers great private island tours and excellent quality on the food. The staff is polite and offer great service. Only 7 rooms so you have great privacy and service.
No incluye desayuno.
We liked that it was close to the beach and the staff was very kind and helpful. The food was good but little portions.
When we were there, there was a typhoon and honestly there was nothing to do at the hotel. They were no activities and the food was overpriced and in general for the room, we paid way too much.
Lovely resort in a very beautiful & isolated place.
Costly transfers, food & drinks were expensive.
Rien
Sehr privat, tolles Service, tolles Essen.
Good location! Just few peple around, quiet. The staff ware first class!! Smile and helpfull and the kichen was really amazing! (with big letters) the hotel is not new, but it is in normal condition.
The beach was not really good for swimming in June because of the never ending rain it was dirty and full with see plants.
It is not the cheapest but might be the best in seaside. The staff was also nice and friendly to us. They say, in this place, everyday is sunset, and they are right. Amazing view in front of the sea especially sunset time. We got many photos with unforgettable memories in there.
The breakfast could have been included in the price.
It being remote and tranquil, exactly what we wanted
The beauty of the place exceeded our expectations. Beautifully stylish and appropriately rustic. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when I needed to see a doctor and they quickly sprang into action to sort it. The airport transfer was very good too.
The steps to our loft room were crazily deep - needs to be more steps! Quite dangerous going down. There was construction work going on right next to our room which we weren’t warned about. They only sold wine by the bottle.
This was one of the most untouched, idyllic places I have ever stayed. The whole place is just gorgeous with delicious food and beautiful people. The owner of the property went out of her way to organize tours for our family, we could not recommend it highly enough...I would 100% return for another amazing, relaxing stay.
Everything, it was a beautiful place
Beautifully designed rooms with spectacular views
Location was very remote. Lack of choices or availability on the menu and we felt we wanted to go out to find somewhere else to eat after a few days
Location, house architecture, room size, view.
Choice of food in restaurant. I didn’t get a fish staying in the island.
Please note that you pay way more on cars to drive you to and from the property as it is so far. The hard rain caused the ceiling and windows to start leaking in my room. All the staff did was bring towels to soak the water. As they knew I was super anxious they started to play music from downstairs, by reception but I didn’t help. There was just a couple other than myself who stayed at the property who left that morning and I was told that other guests who were meant to stay had to cancel because of flight delays. This meant I’d be the only guest at the property which added to my anxiety. As a solo traveller, I decided I had to leave as I feared being stranded completely. With the little to no signal and weak wifi I ended up booking myself at another hotel in Coron city where I stayed for the remainder of my trip. I felt WAY more comfortable and safer at the new proper even through the harsh weather. Although booking.com was happy to give me a refund. The property refused to see all the issues I raised and kept saying that they wouldn’t at least give me a partial refund for the nights I didn’t stay because my reason was that I “changed my mind” - what?! It was condescending and I took offence when they claimed i didn’t do my research, which I did. My heritage is Filipino; have lived through typhoons and have stayed in multiple hotels/resorts of various ratings. The property tried to give me a travel fund but they ruined my trip and I would not go back nor recommend friends or family to stay there so I have refused this. I’m yet to hear from management or owners with even an apology - at this stage they can keep it. I hate to have written this but I am extremely disappointed. Especially when I spent and lost so much money.
Don't get me wrong, the beach house is a cute little gem of a place tucked far away from where tourists frequent. It is very stylish and is pretty clean, save for some bugs here and there. It is very private and affords one a quiet retreat from touristy beaches in the Philippines.
While the house has a lot of style, it is a very small property with limited grounds and the small, unheated pool as it's only amenity. We are familiar with Palawan prices and felt the pricing of this property would be in line with other boutique resorts if it had more to offer - even if it were just a beach that you could swim in. The beach here is not the clean, white sand beach you see in other islands like Boracay. We chose Palawan because we do not like crowds and prefer doing island hopping expeditions. We just didn't feel that the pricing of this property matched what you get. The food they offer is really good though pricey (expect to pay what you would to dine in an upscale restaurant in Manila). It may be inexpensive for European tourists but just know there are similar prices places that offer more.
They have a great hospitality and the location is also great! We could ride a SAP at a beach in front of the hotel. The sunset and stars were amazing. Thank you very much!
I was stuck in El Nido with my family. Due to the wind, all boat services were canceled for days. The Beach House staff and especially Mrs. Jess moved mountains so that we could arrive in Coron and continue our vacation with my family. Arriving at the accommodation, our breath stopped. The place is perfect for relaxing. The interior of the room exceeded our imagination. Spacious and comfortable room. But what made our stay perfect was the staff. They did everything and even more to make our time there perfect.
There's nothing I didn't like.
Small, quiet, and beautiful waterfront property. Our boat trip out to Black Island was fantastic! The food was excellent. And the sunset views were the best I’ve ever seen!
Room, outside, situation
The sea in front is ok nothing special.you need to do excursions to find an excellent sea
Seclusion, boutique, exceptional
Nothing
amazing place, a bit far from everything but i liked it. if your looking for a place to forget about life and relax thats the place, staff is too sweet and the manager nicolas is a very nice guy
dont go in the raining season
Probably the most beautiful boutique hotel I’ve ever been to in the Philippines. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Our room had the beach view and is breezy throughout the day, no need for AC! The staff was very accomodating and everything was well though of. They take note of all the small details that will make your stay memorable and hassle -free.
We liked everything!
A fantastic facility with amazing staff. Very calm with only four rooms in the facility located right on the beach. A fantastic place that has to be visited!!!
The facility is gorgeous, with smooth concrete floors and a very relaxing lifestyle. Our room was lovely and very clean and comfortable, totally open to the outside, so the breeze blowing through and the ceiling fan kept us cool. The place is smaller than I expected with only 4 bedrooms, 3 in the main building (2 upstairs and 1 downstairs) + a villa style room a few steps away. Amazing sunsets and a very warm welcome. Use their transport to get there, it's cheaper than trying to organise your own, unless you're on a motorcycle. Black island is very close and well worth visiting, amazing beach and limestone cliffs with caves. There is a sunken Japanese ship just off the beach where you can snorkel with ease.
It's quite a distance to actually get there, with the final 15 mins down a very narrow dirt track. You have to pay a tourist tax to enter that part of the island, not a problem, but would have appreciated the information so I had cash available. Tours arranged by the Beach House appeared to be very expensive, no option offered to just pop to a nearby island, only a full package with food (very expensive). We just walked down the beach and got a local boat to the island. Food was ok, we're both vegetarian and felt options were a bit limited. There are not enough sunbeds around the pool. Reading reviews and responses from the international owner, they appear to market themselves as a 'bali style' beach club, where you visit for the day and can pay to access the facility with a credit against food and drink. There are 7 (I think) sunbeds, so with guests in 4 X bedrooms (let's assume 8 adults) plus a couple external guests paying the daily access, where would everyone sit? We were lucky as there was a family of 5 during our stay and only the parents used the sunbeds, the kids swam and played all day. The beach is nothing special and the sand is narrow and the tide goes out quite far. Communication is a little confusing. Send them a WhatsApp message, the response is 'message us on Instagram', sent them a message on Instagram and they ask for your WhatsApp number.
An incredibly relaxing, welcoming stay. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel part of their family. A little slice of paradise in rural Philippines! The food was SOO good! Beyond amazing.
The only small thing was the food was a tiny bit expensive, although it was absolutely delicious - there aren't other cheaper food options close by. So perhaps a couple of cheaper food options :)
It is very calm and the rooms are designed comfortably. The staff went to great lengths to ensure a nice stay. The food was good.
It's so extremely remote and there is nothing to do besides being in the room and by the pool, The Beach isn't very nice, there is a lot of Algea and trash. There are toura you can book, but they are very overpriced. In general the hotel is not in the best condition and overpriced.
This place turned out as a beautiful paradise and peaked our trip to the Philippines. The Beach House itself is stunning, located at the end of Ocam Ocam Beach and provides a very calm, relaxing and unique experience. The design is lovely and matches the scenic setting perfectly. BUT it is the extraordinary level of hospitality that would make our stay unforgettable. Both Zara and Marion are exceptionally great hosts - they have read our wishes from our lips and before we could ask for anything, it was already there. Chef Zara has spoilt us throughout our stay - since we have been there for a week we have had the chance to taste ourselves through her exceptional culinary world and we were blown away. Marion has made sure we were always entertained and taken care of. It is a level of service that we have never yet experienced - they manage to combine outstanding service that you would expect in only a few high-end 5* hotels with the cozy, family-like atmosphere of an island paradise. We have stayed at many places all over the world but this one is a true diamond. We left speechless and with many great memories - we came as guests, turned to friends and truly felt as if we‘d become part of the Beach House Family.
amazing place to relax! super nice location straight on the beach! food was absolutely delicious and staff were welcoming and warm
wonderful stay, fantastic staff!
We really liked the beauty of the place, the decor of the hotel and its magnificent swimming pool. Marion and Zara welcomed us perfectly with great kindness and discretion. excellent cuisine. a rare and exceptional address.
