The apartment was large, clean and very comfortable with every amenity we needed for our 2 nights. Situated above the Kingfisher Restaurant but set back off the road, it was both very convenient and quiet in the evenings so no noise coming from the town.
I liked it all but probably if there had been 4 of us, a second bathroom or at least another loo would be nice.
Excellent stay
Great location, spacious and beautifully furnished , good facilities- everything you need
Couple of flights of stairs to walk up
Easy access into property; {flights of stairs may not suit everyone} property is central to everything yet felt private. Is beside a restaurant but we weren’t disturbed by any noise. Room sizes great. Ample light from windows and lighting arrangements for a varied ambience. The living room space beautiful with a sitting and dining experience provided.
No mirrors in bedrooms (easy fix) No WiFi (management in process of sorting)
Lovely apartment, friendly locals and owners
N/A
There was no wifi and the bed I slept in seemed to rest on springs which creaked every time I moved
Fab apartment. Really central in Carlingford. Free on site parking was easy to find. Richard the host quickly replied to any queries we had. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics we needed.
Lack of wifi was the only downside, otherwise perfect.
Lovely apartment, spacious and really centrally located. Loved it!
Nothing
Central to everything and very spacious
Only thing was the settee was not the most comfortable
Lovely apartment. Good location, close to everything.
Not really a dislike, just a suggestion, there would normally be info on how to use the oven, heating etc. Which would have been helpful. Also as the apartment is for 4 and there were only 2 seats avaible at the table to have breakfast.
The whole apartment and loction was great
Well to start the women living there coming down knocking on my door and giving us abuse and saying she owns it and then pushing my son on the stairs nearly starting a fight with him aswell and party all night came up to have chrismas with my son and this but a damper and my christmas with him very unforuntue it
Great location, very large apartment easily enough room for four adults. Very clean and great facilities especially kitchen area. Very comfy bed and loved the interior design
Bathroom towels were a little small
Was very spacious, incredibly clean, in the heart of Carlingford so had everything at its door step but was surprisingly quite!
Nothing really bad to report!
Great location and easy access to town and local area.
No WiFi
location was fabulous, close to the town, everything was within arms reach. Apartment was beautifully furnished and clearly well cared for. Beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed wonderful food and entertainment in McKevitt's hotel in the town square.
No WiFi details/password was provided. Some information about the history of the building (we later acquired this from the fabulous museum in the church behind the apartment) would be wonderful for the curious! A few new towels and a blind for the bathroom window be good finishing touches.
Literally in the middle of town, walking distance from everything. Lovely and spacious. Highly recommend
GREAT LOCATION. CLEAN AND SPACIOUS FLAT. COMFY BEDS AND NICE FURNISHINGS - REASONABLY QUIET PART OF THE LITTLE TOWN/VILLAGE. NOT MORE THAN A STROLL FROM EVERYTHING
DOORS ON BUILDING ALL FIRE DOORS SO SLAM REALLY LOUDLY TIL LATE - NO ONE SLAMMING THEM BUT THEY JUST SHUT VERY LOUDLY AS THEY ARE HEAVY - SO UNAVOIDABLE - MAYBE I AM A LIGHT SLEEPER THOUGH.
Great location fabulous apartment would definitely recommend and will be back
This apartment is beautiful. The decor is fab. It was cosy and clean with a very comfy bed. It's in the middle of town but there's no noise from the pubs getting through. We'll definitely be back.
Great location Spacious apartment Larger sitting room/ kitchen Handy to have Parking outside
One of the beds is a little low ( just off the floor) would have liked a higher bed Also it would have been great to have a microwave
The decor and space
Could not get hob to work, think saucepans not compatible. Hairdryer would be good.
Beautiful apartment, perfect location round the corner from main street. Most comfortable beds I have ever slept in while away from home. Very quiet too which was great.
Very central and clean.
Only one coffee pod for the coffee machine and no direction on how to used. Perhaps an alternative means of making coffee. Could do with a microwave and perhaps WiFi. Extra bed linen for pullout bed in sitting room.
Very clean modern interior, easy access and central location
NO WIFI, sofa not too comfortable but otherwise no complaints
Lovely furnishings and good quality.location was great and plenty of parking right across the road.Couple of issues but these were rectified immediately.
A few things needed in the kitchen for self catering but we pointed these out and owner arrived with knifes ect.A microwave and washing machine needed, plumbing there for washer but think that was a work in progress.zPan and brush and lighter summer duvets, duck and down quality bedding but we were very warm.Only second visitors not complaining just want to help make other guests stays just that bit better.
The apartment was really lovely and spacious and was in a great location, pretty much in the centre of Carlingford town. There was a restaurant underneath the apartment and we were a bit worried about noise but it wasn't an issue.
We had requested a cot which wasn't there when we arrived. We got in touch with the host, who left a travel cot over quickly. However, the base of the cot was covered in dog hair and the mattress was too small. When I got in touch to relay this, the host didn't offer any kind of solution. The amenities list a microwave but there wasn't one, there was no hot water from the taps and the kitchen could use some more cooking utensils.
Interior design was excellent, beautiful spacious apartment, would definitely go back
Quite a few stairs which are not suitable for disabled or elderly. Feather duvets as one person was asthmatic and allergic to feathers, toilet very close to shower not much room Need cooking utensils plenty of everything else
