Luxury Residence in the old city center of Antwerp

Die Wohnung hat eine tolle, zentrale Lage und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr angenehm und wir haben uns während unseres Kurzurlaubs sehr wohl gefühlt.

The location of the appartment is excellent. However the street is extremely noisy all night long. Being in Antwerp with a heat wave we were obliged to open the windows. The pedestrain shout, speak loud, pass with loud music, fight, .... all night is extremely noisy. Not recommendable! Following comment is not related to the appartment but to Antwerpen itself: the historic centre is supposed to be pedestrian. Electric scooters and bycicle - deliveries (type Uber eats) pass at extremely high speeds: it is then very dangerous You cannot enjoy the beauty of the historc centre since you must take care of your life!

The location is very good.

Living room can get quite hot. You can't open the windows to sleep because the streets are very loud. The sofa bed is quite uncomfortable, the bed is not flat at all. You can also hear people walking on top floor quite often.

In the center of the old town. Quiet and cool. It was 30+ Celsius outside. Very pleasant apartment facing 17th century houses. Very good communication with our host. I recommend it.

Ideally located in the heart of the old city center, it is a perfect place to explore Antwerp. The digital check-in/out went very smoothly - though 10am is a bit early to leave the place the last day. The apartment is, clean, decorated with taste and well equipped (coffee machine, boiler, dryer, etc.) which makes it very comfortable. You feel like you’re at home. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable - I had read comments saying differently. We came with a rental car and could find a parking nearby 31€/24h (Indigo Grote Markt Parking). You must be aware a car registration is necessary to drive in certain areas of the city. The registration procedure (online) is relatively simple and must be done well in advance (processing time of the registration is 10 days but it could be shorter). All in all we had a fantastic time in Antwerp!

Nothing - though it is worth to mention that the staircase is rather narrow and steep (may be difficult for elderly or very young children). Face towels by default would have been appreciated too - but we did not ask for it.

Very lovely flat in a great location. Overlooking a fairly busy pedestrianised street but rarely noisy, just the fun of watching the flow of people. Very well equipped and clean. The stairs (mentioned by some others) didn't bother us, we are in our 70s but relatively fit and travelling with a small cabin bag each - I imagine if you can't do stairs and have large bags this would be an issue. Good supermarkets within easy walk and very easy access to everything you'd want to do in antwerp.

Very convenient location: only few meters away from the city center. The flat is globally very comfy, nicely decorated and pretty quiet. The kitchen is fully equiped with all the stuffs you might need. A supermarket is around the corner and there are lots of very good restaurants nearby.

The Sofa bed is really poor and not comfortable (plus it was dirty). I recommend the owner to change it. And finally the bathroom is not enough ventilated : it spreads a slight smell of moisture in the appartment.

Lovely, clean, modern apartment in a super location. Highly recommended.

The apartment is well located, it is very clean and tidy. Everything you need is there — a fully equipped kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, and all the essentials. The shower was great — excellent water pressure and easy temperature control. The host provided clear and practical instructions for both check-in and check-out, which made the whole process very smooth. .​​​​​​​​​

Twee opmerkingen: er hangt een duidelijke rioollucht in het trappenhuis, als je de kamerdeur gesloten houdt heb je er in het appartement geen last van. Verder zijn de voetstappen van de bovenburen goed hoorbaar. Tijdens ons verblijf waren zij niet rumoerig, hebben er geen hinder van gehad.

Very stylish and fabulous location

The steep staircase to get to second floor was not a joke. It was so dangerous. Do not bring children here, its not safe. Its like feeling of climbing a ladder. The noise from the flat above was so loud. It kept us awake for most of the night… we stayed one night only and thank god for that. Could be more generous with towels.

The location was excellent, quiet but only 5 minutes walk from the historic center. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is very clean, and beautifully decorated. Nice touches such as a Nespresso maker with capsules are provided, as well as designer bath products and a hair dryer. Very comfortable bed and sleeper sofa. The keyless door locks are very convenient.

Everything was great. A few extra towels (plus hand towels) would be nice. There is no elevator, the steps are narrow (this was not an issue for us but may be needed for others). Caveat for people travelling by car: street parking is not allowed in this part of town (only for residents) and the nearest parking garage is a 10 minute walk, so plan accordingly. BUT - this is the case for all property rentals in downtown Antwerp, not specific for this apartment.

Locatie is perfect. Rustig en zeer centraal.

Mooi appartement, netjes en schoon. Precies zoals de foto's. Alles voor prima verblijf in centrum Antwerpen.

Appartement is (in de zomer) erg warm, airco alleen in de slaapkamer. Centrumlocatie geeft wat uitgaansdrukte.

A clothes ironing table was provided on request. The only advantage is the large, spacious rooms.

The access to the apartment is dirty, uncomfortable, with very steep stairs. Stove not working, loud noise from upstairs apartment. Bedroom window cannot be opened because mosquitoes fly in.

Stylish, comfortable, perfectly equiped and more than spacious enough for a longer stay. Perfect location at walking distance of the most popular places in Antwerp.
