Big, atmospheric house. Very peaceful. The owner is very nice and has good advice on what to do. It’s very close to temples and walks in Jirosan. With places to eat nearby. Helps to have a car.

It was very quiet and clean. The host was friendly and very helpful.

Staying at Hanok feels different. It was clean and comfortable.

It was little bit confused to fine the house.

El alojamlentones espectacular. Es un conjunto de casitas estilo coreano. Como una casa familiar en varios bloques. Nos informaron de todo perfectamente con todo bien detallado. Nuestra casa estaba perfectamente equipada. Con dos espacios diferenciados entre ña zona de dormir y la cocina. A parte del baño. Si buscas un alojamiento en Gurye, no está en ciudad. Pero te puedes desplazar en coche en menos de 3' y no hay problema de parking en la ciudad. Nosotros lo elegimos primero por el tipo de alojamiento. Te da libertad y está perfectamente ubicado para acceder a Jirisan que es lo que puedes hacer en esta zona. Puedes hacer barbacoa si lo deseas. Os recomienfo "pasta at home" para cenar.

I liked the vibe around the stay. Very nice to stay in a Hanok to relax or when you want to go into Jirisan park and enjoy the nature or go on a hike.

For us it was hard to get to the property without our own car so keep that in mind. Also to get around in the area.

hanok confortable sans charme véritable mais très pratique pour une nuit. À noter 2 merveilles de temples à proximité qui justifient l’étape.

Aucun contact physique avec les hôtes ; cela semble être la norme ici mais très frustrant en matière de relations humaines !

What I really liked about the hanok stay was… The best part of the stay was the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout my stay.

Very traditional and spacious. Host was helpful with suggestions for eateries and temples in the area. It is a family home and well kept and the kitchen is very well equipped.

One main toilet and bath, challenging for larger group of visitors.

An amazing villa with a very well-equipped and cozy kitchen that allowed us to cook dinner on-site. There is even a BBQ available (although we didn’t use it). The floor heating was excellent and created a very pleasant atmosphere on a rainy day. The smart TV with Netflix access was a great bonus. The bathroom is definitely a highlight, with both a shower and a relaxing traditional bathtub. The location is also very convenient, about a 5-minute drive from a large supermarket and the wonderful local market.

It’s a traditional Korean house, so the walls are made of paper, which makes it quite bright early in the morning.

욕조는 좋았지만 물빠지는 부분에 욕조신발이 젖어버리는 단점

도착하기 전에 미리 난방을 틀어줘서 따뜻하게 들어갈 수 있었고 필요한 물건을 바로바로 준비해 주셔서 너무 좋았다. 한옥이라서 추울 줄 알았는데 생각보다 따뜻해서 더 좋았다. 다음에는 겨울말고 따뜻한 날에 방문하고 싶다.

거실 마루가 생각보다 많이 벌려져 있었다. 그 사이로 물건이 떨어질까봐 걱정이 되었다. 그틈을 매꾸어 주셨으면 좋겠다.

사장님께서 친절하셨어요. 수건도 엄청 챙겨주시고. 세탁기/건조기까지 구비되어 있어 편리했습니다. 주변도 매우 조용하고 온돌도 따뜻하여 잘 잤어요.

청소를 조금만 더 신경써주시면 좋을 것 같습니다.

A wonderful accommodation, very well organised and located. Peaceful , clean and friendly. A feeling of home away from home.

The mattress was too thin , so some of us had a backache in the morning..

We loved staying here with our young family. The Hanok is gorgeous and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast. The big bath was a hit with our girls, it’s takes a while to fill up so if you’re going to use it start filling it up about an hour and a half before you use it, it’s huge. The location was great to get to hikes and then to relax the next day. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had booked it for longer. Check in was easy and we were meet by two friendly dogs.

Sehr authentisch, gute Ausstattung.

Sehr nette Hosts. Haben uns dabei geholfen mit dem Bus und Taxi anzureisen, da wir Schwierigkeiten hatten eine passende Verbinding zu finden. Schönes Hanok mit einer wunderschönen und ruhigen Umgebung. Wir konnten selber kochen, da die Küche gut ausgestattet war. Der nächste 7 Eleven ist ca. 30min zu Fuss entfernt, was uns beim Wandern sehr geholfen hat. Ausserdem ist der Hund auf dem Gelände süss und sehr freundlich, wir haben uns immer gefreut wenn wir ihn gesehen haben.

숙박 몇 일 전 호스트께서 보내주신 문자가 정말 좋았습니다. 주변에서 어떤 여행을 하면 좋을지 꼼꼼하게 챙겨주셨어요. 마주칠 때 / 떠날 때도 호스트께서 직접 인사도 해주시는 등 엄청 친절하십니다. (한옥 안채에 호스트 분이 거주하고 계세요) 숙소 시설도 기본적인 부분은 다 갖춰져 있어 좋았습니다. 신식으로 개조된 한옥에서 살아보고 싶었는데, 그런 경험을 대신할 수 있었던 것 같아요.

다른 건 다 좋았으나... 시골 할머니 댁이 생각나는 욕실이었던게 좀 아쉽습니다. 구비된 샴푸, 바디 워시도 너무 향이 강해 코가 조금 힘들었습니다.

근처 둘러보기도 좋고 숙소도 좋았습니다

행랑채에서 2박 3일. 4인 가족이 사용했어요! 한옥이지만 실내는 현대식💚 (오히려 좋아) 더운 여름에 갔지만 숙소 에어컨이 잘 돼서 정말 좋았어요:) 행랑채가 죽록정사에서 제일 작은 곳인데 방과 주방이 분리 되어있고 화장실 정말 넓어서 마음에 들었어요. 주방에 필요한 조리도구들 다 있고 화장실에도 필요한 게 다 갖춰져 있어서 잠옷만 챙겨가도 될 정도..!! (+칫솔도 챙기기!) 행랑채는 2명이 지내면 여유 있게 지내겠지만 4명도 충분했어요!! 구례 여행하고 재충전하기 좋은 숙소에서 잘 지내고 갑니다~~~

가격대비 시설이 아쉬움~창문 구조등이 비가 오면 열면 창호가 비에 젖는구조이고 벌레들이 너무 쉽게 들어올수 있는 구조임

Location was close to hwaeomsa and scenery was nice and staff was helpful.

It was great but maybe itll have been a better experience in Autumn or Winter.

Beautiful house with lots of woodwork, very clean and comfortable. Perfect location nearby Jirisan national park which is good for trekking. Hwaeomsa temple is close by - go there around 10:00 for morning prayer chants. There are many other temples in the vicinity. Definitely best part of your trip to Korea. Renting car is advisable.

It was very nice place. Peaceful and lovely house. There is almost everything what you need. Laundry is a big gift for the family and travelers. You can try the traditional bath at the house. It is big enough for the family.

There is nothing that i didn’t like. Restaurants are not so near which is for the europeans. You need a car to catch there. Taxi is difficult to get it.

Lovely hanok with good heating, a little kitchen/dining and large bathroom. A very picturesque property with other hanoks within the compound in an unspoilt village.

Noise can carry from guests in the other villas but there’s not much that can be done about that if you maintain some authenticity in the architecture.

The location is stunning. Very peaceful. The hanok is attractive and well appointed, and the host seems to have thought of everything. I was especially grateful to the host’s brother who helped me through a couple of tricky situations (of my own making). He was extremely kind and made my stay smoother than it might otherwise have been. Thank you!

You really need a car in this location, especially if you’re going to use the kitchen to any extent. It’s quite a distance to the closest supermarket, but there are cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The location is great if you're looking for a rural stay close to Jirisan. The two dogs on the property are quite friendly and cute. It's very quiet and peaceful. Good kitchen facilities.

There was construction on another Hanok house and the yard was very muddy. It's a traditional stay which means sleeping on a mat on the floor, as long as travelers know that, it's a good place to stay.

We liked the house, it was very clean and the dogs were very nice and children friendly

Amazing traditional hanok, but new and luxurious. Especially the owner is super nice and excellent communication. I loved the place and easy to visit the mountains and temples. Would love to go back, highly recommend this place!

Beautiful new-built traditional home in a quiet location just outside Jirisan NP. The house is spacious and comfy, clean, with a nice and warm shower and a lovely area for tea & coffee. It had everything we could need and as a bonus there are two super cute dogs that 'guard' the property. I think it was our best accommodation in three weeks Korea and I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

The traditional house is nice, in a peaceful and pleasant place, surrounded by rice fields. We slept perfectly on the futon. Nice experience staying in a traditional house.

The room was really small, same size of the bathroom. The kitchen was a detached unit, so you need to pass outdoor to reach it. Bathroom was a bit smelly and bathtub discharging partially on the floor. Despite this, we had a good staying. Having paid with WALLET it costed us just one euro.

The Hanoks are very nice and close to both a town and the Jirisan National Park. The owner's son was very responsive and gave us recommendations for restaurants.

We had some problems with the temperature of the shower water.

The Hanok house is pretty with an authentic Korean vibe. The owner was so kind to upgrade our room because of a system error.

The place has a lot of character. Definitely happy I stayed here and not one of the nearby hotels.
