Gedeelde badkamer en vooral dat je deze met meer kamers deelt dan gedacht: er zouden 3 badkamers zijn, maar op de tweede etage is er maar 1 badkamer en daar bevinden zich 6 kamers.

Ubicación genial, zona muy tranquila y a 12 minutos caminando del centro de Flam. Los propietarios muy amables y la casa super acojedora con muy buenas vistas.

El baño era compartido. Lo indican en la descripción. Pero es la única pega que encontramos.

To be away from the center and the view from the bedroom and sitting room amazing. The possibility to use the kitchen and cook was definitely an added bonus. The staff were helpful and friendly.

It is written in the description that you do not have a toilet or shower in the room. We were lucky enough to have a sink in the bedroom. If you do not like sharing the toilets and shower room with other guests then this place is not for you.

This guest house was perfect for us. Cathy was so helpful with answering all of our questions and good advice re: daily excursions. Immaculately clean! Unreal views! Great kitchen.

Where do I begin? This place is magical. The views, the rooms, the house, the location. If I could give it more than 10 stars I would.

I thought it was a bit expensive for a guest house even if all my scores are high. I understand the view was amazing but I wish the price was a bit lower or with some basic breakfast like toast and hard boiled eggs or something. Nevertheless.. it was nice place

Amazing location on the edge of the Fjord, waking up to stunning views. Short walk to all attractions and the hosts were really welcoming and pleasant. Car park is 50 meters from the guesthouse opposite the marina building.

Slightly odd smell through out the common areas, which needs addressing.

The waterfront view, cute vantage decorations, very clean and well organized.

Had to share bathroom with other guests.

A real great find! It felt just like coming home after a day of exploring. The location was fantastic with stunning views, and everything was spotlessly clean. A wonderful place to stay — I’d happily return!

Everything, the view, the location, the staff, the facilities. All of it was most enjoyable.

It was very central to the town but far enough out to be whisper quiet. I had a room downstairs and whilst there were shared facilities, I felt like I had my own shower and toilet. The hosts are awesome, and I was delighted to be able to use the house even after checkout which was very convenient.

There were no complaints from me.

A little gem of paradise in Flam away from the bustling downtown/port. Rooms with sea view are mesmerizing and even saw Northern Lights - a rarel phenomena for August

The property was conveniently located a short walk into the small town. The view from our room was amazing. The facility was exceptionally clean. There are shared bathrooms with other guest which were never a problem. There was always one available and were always sparkling clean.

There were 2 flights of stairs to our rooms which wasn’t a big problem but people should know there are stairs. Really the property was a great place to stay.

Bardzo przyjemne miejsce dla ludzi nastawionych na zwiedzanie. Jest wszystko co potrzeba: sypialnia, część wypoczynkowa, maleńka kuchnia i dobra łazienka. Samochód tuż obok.

Jedyny minus, że nie ma informacji : recepcja w hotelu po drugiej stronie ulicy.

The location was great. The views from our room were amazing. The house and rooms were extremely clean. The other guests were nice and respectful. Sharing bathrooms was never a problem. Highly recommended.

La megliore posizione di Flam. La vista più bella del fiordo. Cahty, la manager, è gentilisima. La casa è tenuta molto bene e presenta interni piacevoli. Vogliamo ritornare sicuramente.

Siamo rimasti solo 2 notti. Avrei voluto rimanere più a lungo.

The views from our rooms and throughout the house were spectacular. Convenient location. Welcoming and warm vibe from our hosts. They allowed us to stay and enjoy a comfortable afternoon before our afternoon departure.

Posto incantevole. Una Guesthouse magnifica, curata nei minimi dettagli. Aree comuni perfettamente pulite e accoglienti. Stanze calde e confortevoli. Ma il punto di forza è una vista mozzafiato sul Fiordo.

Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas au rdv. Bien sûr la vue est très belle (mais elle n’est pas unique dans cette région), l’établissement est propre mais le prix est bien trop élevé quand on a des wc et sdb communes.

Everything . The house is beautiful and frozen in time . Super clean, everything we needed at our fingertips . Hosts were incredible .

The location is perfect - a five-minute walk from the town but far enough so the cruise ships that dock there don't spoil the view (the terrace is amazing!). The house is large and pleasant, and although the bathrooms are shared, there are enough that we never had to wait. It was also really clean. Our hosts Cathy and Michael were super helpful and lovely. It was a wonderful stay!

Maybe give guests individual bath mats so they don't have to use a shared one. Everything else was great!

A beautiful property in an amazing location, but the most notable was the hospitality. Cathy and her team provide a warm and welcoming stay with many extras. A special thanks for doing our laundry.

Lack of ensuite bathrooms. The price.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour : la maison est extrêmement charmante et bien entretenue, la chambre était parfaite et la vue est incroyable. Tout est pensé pour qu'on se sente comme à la maison ! L'accès à la cuisine avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner est un vrai plus, surtout si on reste plusieurs jours. Le personnel est très agréable et chaleureux. Le parking est juste à côté et gratuit ce qui est aussi un avantage.

Immaculately clean, very spacious, beautifully decorated, quiet, airy, friendly and helpful host. We were concerned about the shared bathrooms, but there were plenty and next to our room. Our room had large windows and a full view of the fjord. Also a nice patio overlooking the fjord.

Just the view of the cruise ships, but that’s a given in Flåm. While this is a good value for Flam, it still seemed quite expensive to us for a guesthouse. However, we were in a very popular tourist spot at the height of the season. No breakfast included but free coffee etc and use of refrigerator and kitchen. We saved money by not having to eat out.

Cathy (the host/manager) is outstanding. She is kind, super friendly and personable. She treats the guests like her family. She would check in with us when the opportunity presented itself, helped with luggage up the stairs and is super positive.

It would have been nice to have our own bathroom, but the view made up for it.

Lovely guest house in Flam! The house is in mint condition and the rooms are very comfortable. We splurged for a room with a few of the fjord and do not regret it! We met the proprietors and they were very nice. It's only about a 10-minute walk to Flam and the Flam Marina restaurant is right across the street and a great option for dinner. Can't wait to come back!

Amazing location, so close to all of the activities of Flam and right on the water. Beautiful communal spaces, fantastic views and very clean. Comfortable beds, and lovely staff!

Very nice house with 3 floors, rooms are very clean. View is magnificent. There is also 1 balcony facing the lake, perfect for relaxing. Landlord is very kind and helped us carry our luggage.

We loved everything about our stay at Svingen Guesthouse. We received a warm welcome from Cathy, Wayne, and Michael, who carried our suitcases to our room. The location was superb, with our room overlooking the fjord. The balcony was lovely with seats available to relax and enjoy the view. So peaceful and quiet. The venue was absolutely spotless. A huge thank you to everyone who looked after us.

The best accommodation one can have. Everything is perfect, clean and smelling good, great view from the room and balcony, friendly and lovely staff. He even helped us find a place in the cafe to watch the World Cup game :))) Hot shower, fully equipped kitchen, free coffee and tea! Definitely book this place for your vacation and enjoy

Oh come on! NOTHING AT ALL

What a lovely place to stay in Flåm! Yes, it’s a guesthouse where you have your own bedroom, and shared bathrooms. But it is also like a family home with shared living space and kitchen. The rooms are decorated beautifully, the grounds so well kept, great view of the fjord. We really enjoyed meeting the caretakers and visiting with fellow guests. Would stay there again if back in the area. Great value. Plus it is next door to Fjord Farms which was a great place to eat.

Extremely well managed property - they allowed an exception to removing shoes when I told them I required arch supports at all times.

Wow, what a view. At first we were unsure what we had booked but our welcoming host ensured we gas a wonderful stay despite shared bathrooms. Great location, comfortable rooms, washing machine and that view!

Everyone we came into contact with was really helpful, kind and friendly.

The only aspect that could be criticised would be the shared bathroom facilities. We were helped by having a sink in our room, but generally people expect ensuite today.

Per il prezzo pagato non avete il bagno in camera e condividerlo con altre stanze non va assolutamente bene, visto l’alto costo del pernottamento Al piano terra un BAGNO con SOLO WC minuscolo e un ALTRO bagno con solo doccia e lavandino. Al piano superiore, presenti 7 stanze, un bagno con WC piccolo e un bagno con doccia, lavandino e WC.

It’s a beautiful location, just a short walk away from the business of town. The proprietors were amazing! It’s nice to have a kitchen and common areas. The room was spacious and the shared bathrooms worked well. Everything is spotless clean.

Only complaint is sound carries and other guests can be a bit loud

Very good views without boats blocking it. Great Location outside the most touristy area. The British family hosting were very friendly.

I know it’s an old house and it’s what it is, but I think there could be some small fixes with the doors so they don’t make so much noise when opening/closing and disturb the neighbours. (Jo don’t get defensive on this feedback, I’m being constructive)

The Guesthouse was so very quaint and quiet, and close to all that Flåm had to offer. Beautiful view of the fjord from our rooms.
