In the morning of a Saturday while we were still sleeping there were people working on the next room, they were making so much noise and we were forced to wake up early. And for a place they do not want noise we found it unfair cos, we were enjoying on Friday night with my friends listening to music which was playing very soft, only to receive a call that we were making noise.

Reviewed Jul 15, 2026The property is beautifully located near the buzz of uMhlanga but not close enough to be affected by any noise. Large, beautifully furnished, modern, safe, new building, and the host is pleasant.
The owner/host has to pay attention to the cleanliness of the property. At face value property looks clean until sun rays shine onto the floors and windowsills, then you can tell that the cleaning staff are not paying attention to details. The toilet seat needs attention and there was hair inside one of the pillows. Otherwise property is a 9/10

There’s very little to make it comfortable. No doorbell so I phoned. What happens if someone doesn’t have a phone or data? Apartment is very bare and basic. There were a couple of tea bags but no milk. No cushions, a single bare towel each. The tea towel was a torn in half, dirty cloth.

It was such a beautiful space to stay in and I truly enjoyed every moment. I also really appreciated that we were informed when my friend forgot her shoes — such a thoughtful touch. Definitely a 10/10 experience!

A home away from home is when you are free to talk & laugh, that was a bit limited for us because the property has its residents within. So as much as we were not having a party but we did not enjoy fully, we had to stop playing our card games because we were called out for making noise.

The reception was just amazing, the lady made us so welcome and went the extra mile. We really did not complain about anything. We would definitely go there again. Reviewed Dec 15, 2025Exceptional host who oriented us on the house😃, the city,activities to do around the city and restaurants.Anil (host) made it easy for us to navigate Durban.Comfortable beds and bigger shower heads which gave a luxuries bathing experience.Very Spacious.Very clean bath towels and linen.Beautiful dishes,glasses and cutlery which was enough for all of the guests.Beautiful sea view by the balcony with comfortable furniture which was so relaxing.Would definitely recommend this place and will be returning soon.
