Location close to old town. Private Stilted cabin over water with fantastic sunrise view. Sareena is a fantastic host. We hired a bike from her. She organised a trip and laundry. Very quick to respond to any queries- extremely helpful. Decent roomy shower. Tea, coffee and plenty of free water were provided.

Not the fault of the property as such but the surrounding and nearby areas are overrun with litter. This is a huge problem everywhere in Kho Lanta - sadly one of the worst islands I’ve been to for discarded rubbish. I’d have liked a few more hooks in the bathroom and bedroom and sockets either side of the bed. The bed mattress is quite hard and could really do either a topper to soften it.

La proprietaria Sereena è stata ospitale e gentile ci ha assistiti in tutto...lei fa la differenza anche qualcosa non andasse bene. Ottimo il ristorante della mamma si mangia molto bene e il menù è molto vario. Ci ha anche affittato i motorini e fatto i biglietti per la barca.

Migliorerei l'entrata della casa, al primo impatto può dare una brutta impressione.

Fue excelente. Sareena es la encargada y es adorable, además ahí mismo ella te alquila la moto y te organiza tu viaje de vuelta a tu siguiente traslado. Todos son facilidades. What a brilliant place to stay near the Koh Lanta old town. Waking up to the panoramic sunrise is great, you can see the mangroves come to life with collared kingfishers, brahminy kites, egrets and mudskippers all nearby to the balcony. Staying over the water is such a unique experience and the sound of the water is so calming. Sareena is so helpful and booked our early transfer to Krabi airport. Be sure to also eat at her family restaurant in town, Sunee Place, for some fusion Indian food - the roti + curry is great.

da war kein Frühstück dabei. Es wurde aber auf Wunsch alles ohne Aufpreis in unsere Unterkunft geliefert. Als ich krank war, hat sich die Vermieterin sehr um mich bemüht und mir auch Medikamente und Essen/Trinken gebracht.

Ablagemöglichkeit, Regal für Kleider oder Ähnliches. Es wurde aber auf meine Intervention hin eine zusätzliche Stange mit Kleiderbügel im Vorraum montiert.

We loved staying amongst the neighbourhood, the fabulous views and relaxing in the hammocks. Sareena was a fabulous host, really warm and making sure we were okay throughout.

Prachtige locatie aan het water. Konden ‘s ochtends heerlijk de zonsopkomst kijken. Tussen de lokale vissers. Erg leuk om hier te verblijven. Sareena was super lief en alles kon geregeld worden: scooters, de was en verschillende tours (tegen een veel goedkopere prijs dan via iemand anders).

Una gemma nascosta, bungalow sul mare da cui si vede la marea salire e scendere. Molto pittoresco e romantico, ottimo per vivere la parte autentica di Koh Lanta. Sareena è stata molto gentile, disponibile e un'ottima host. Il ristorante di sua mamma è raccomandato al 100%. Abbiamo mangiato solo li' per tutto il soggiorno perchè ci è piaciuto tantissimo con molta scelta nel menu. Raccomandato anche il corso di cucina perchè mangiate un giorno interno (qualità-prezzo ottima). Tutti i tour si possono prenotare tramite Sareena con prezzi agevolati e anche grande flessibilità. Per i massaggi da professionisti aspettate di andare nella parte ovest dell'isola.

Sareena is de liefste host. Ze was super lief, je kon altijd bij haar terecht en heeft met haar familie een restaurant waar wij heerlijk hebben gegeten. We konden er ook een scooter huren tegen een goede prijs. Het huisje was geweldig; super schattig ingericht en boven de zee. We zouden graag terugkomen!

Sereena é fantástica. Muito querida e solicita. Ela montou uma hospedagem extremamente aconchegante e charmosa, com detalhes bem pensados para o nosso conforto. Cama e chuveiro excelentes também. E a vista é muito bonita.

Não há acesso ao mar que vemos na varanda e mesmo que houvesse, não se pode tomar banho nele. A praia para banho mais próxima fica há 10km. Se você não alugar uma scooter, nao conseguirá ir à praia ou a nenhum atrativo.

Loved staying here! It’s tucked away in a quiet, very local neighborhood and owned by a lovely local family. The room is simple but cozy — just big enough for the bed, with an external bathroom and a bamboo deck that has two hammocks, a single chair, and a little double seat. They’ve used bamboo in really creative ways throughout the space, and there are hangers and pegs for clothes and towels. You’ll hear and see so many birds, and the seashell mobiles add this gentle tinkling sound that’s super relaxing. The walls, floor, and ceiling are all made from beautiful woven natural fibers, giving it a really authentic feel. There’s both a fan and A/C, and the shower water was a nice, comfortable temperature. Watching the sunrise from the deck was such a peaceful way to start the day. You can easily walk to Old Town for breakfast or dinner, and there’s a calm stretch of the Andaman Sea right outside the cottage with just a few local boats passing by. Check out the restaurant Sunee Place in Old Town.

It was such a unique and wonderful experience. The host was so accommodating and the whole space was just wow!! The bed was so comfortable and there was little details to make the stay very special.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you can’t ride a motorcycle as it’s in a quite remote area. However, the host will help you organise taxis!

The view was amazing.

Everything about this stay was very relaxing. I loved having this space to unwind with incredible views. Sareena is an incredible host, and made this little space extremely comfortable for guests.

Sareena and her family are so helpful and hospitable! It’s a lovely, cozy, and clean bungalow in a peaceful location!

No breakfast included. But this place is the most unique, the most rustic, and the most magical stay we had in all of Thailand. It is not a 5 star hotel room, but is the most enjoyable place. It makes you realize that we really don’t need what we think we need at home. When this place, with so little, can make us so happy to be here. And Serena, the hostess is the best ever. So helpful, so happy, so sincere and so loveable. Everyone needs to try the Deep House Sea View. You’re going to love it !!!!

Lots of beauty in such a little space with a very homely feel. The private accommodation offers beautiful views of the sunrise from the cosiest bed. Relaxing and peaceful vibes all around. Would definitely stay again or recommend to those looking for somewhere to stay on the area.

Such a special and unique experience, a gorgeous little house right next to Lanta Old Town. Sareena is soooo lovely and helpful, and a real joy to have met. Her mother's restaurant, Sonee's is highly recommended with the best food in our trip so far. Sitting outside on the yoga mats watching the sun rise will not be forgotten. Lanta Old Town is like a film set - full of little shops, restaurants and cafes, and such lovely, funny locals! Couldn't have enjoyed our stay more.

Amazing stay- would absolutely recommend and come back. The most amazing views and so relaxing. Amazingly friendly and welcoming host (Sareena ) . I had originally planned this trip to Thailand with my partner l and we broke up just before we were due to leave so I travelled alone. This was the most amazing place to recover from a broken heart, self reflect, relax and refresh. Just what I needed! A short walk to the Main Street of Old Town but incredibly quiet. Sareena was so helpful- arranged a very last minute pickup from Krabi airport ( after my flight was delayed and I missed my public bus) , arranged a massage for my room, bike taxi around Lanta and of course the best massaman curry in her restaurant in old town. Also arranged laundry and the boat transfer to Phuket. Wonderful stay and would absolutely come back.

Great stay at this beautiful place! We had a really good time just chilling in the hammock and watching the sea! From the bed it was also possible to watch the sea. The host was super nice and helpful!

It was a paradise in nature for me, It's beautiful, relaxing, peaceful, magic, the house is above the sea, I loved living that experience there, whether it rains or is sunny or windy it is special, you are just listening, looking, feeling nature and you can enjoy it even while lying in bed, everything is clean, full equipped, good location, it is near to the old town, the best was Sareena and her family, they have a good energy, very smiling, friendly, lovely people, they also have a cozy restaurant in the old town and the food is very delicious.

I stayed at DeepHouse Seaview 5 years ago, and coming back here this time made the experience more amazing. It is truly a gem nestled in the quiet village neighbourhood of Old Town Koh Lanta. The room is truly beautiful, comfortable and clean. The bonus is the spacious deck, where it was a therapeutic and healing experience watching the waters come in and out, set in the backdrop of the brilliant purple, blue and orange skies, when you manage to catch the sunrise. The house is connected to Sareena's main family house and is 5 minutes walk to the town where her mother owns a really great restaurant with plenty of dishes on the menu, snacks and smoothies. One of the main reasons I came back and stayed longer this time (4 nights) is the hospitality, warmth and love shown by Sareena's whole family. It is indeed an awesome place to stay and we will be back! 😁

Our stay was perfect

One of my favourite accomadation of my whole trip. If you come to Koh Lanta you MUST stay here! It is super spacious with an outside bathroom, sink and hammocks to chill. Sometimes you are fully surrounded by water then watch the tide roll back out. Wake up around 6 am and watch the sunrise over the water! It’s so peaceful ! I love how it feels rustic, but also modern, clean and not bugs everywhere (so you can fully relax) It’s a 5 minute walk to the old town where you can eat, and a 7/11 just around the corner.

This is a homestay and I loved the local feel instead of a resort. When the tide comes in, the patio is beautiful. the AC in the room works great and the owner makes sure you have everything you need

Our stay was unbelievable. The place was super clean and the sunrise from our room was incredible. Sareena was a fantastic host, she was really attentive to any questions we had. Koh lanta old town was lovely and only a 5 minute walk from the property. I would recommend going to Sareena’s family restaurant in Koh lanta old town, I loved the green Thai curry !

I love everything about it. It's not fancy but still very cosy and clean. The neighborhood is pretty simple, with many local people. The natural vibe around it and in the accommodation is what makes the place special. Also, it is a short walk to lanta old town, which is a very cute part of the island. The host as well is a lovely lady, and she has been very welcoming since my arrival. She also offered to rent her bike without even asking for a deposit, and she was kind enough to help with a transfer to my next accommodation. I recommend it and would definitely be back again.

Genuinely breathtaking location and incredibly well-appointed. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we could have stayed a week. I would 100% recommend.

This was such a great experience !!! This is not a 5 stars hotel but this is what is great about it. We loved everything , the bed, the view , the balcony , the location, the restaurant and the owners. Such a lovely couple and they were always available when we had questions. Do not hesitate to book directly from them for any tour, scooter or even a massage. It will be much cheaper and great services.

What can I say about this beautiful place! For a start Sareena the owner is a diamond, the kindest and most helpful person you can meet! She messaged us the morning of our booking to see what time we’d be arriving, she sorted a taxi to pick us up from the pier when our ferry arrived. Our room wasn’t quite ready yet (we got there before check in time so absolutely fair enough), so she called to ask if we minded being dropped at her restaurant close by first - upon arrival she made us a delicious smoothie on the house then took us to show us around our room. The room is beautiful - the sound of waves lapping on the shore, the beautiful sunrise (which I caught when popping to the loo in the morning) is beautiful, big comfy bed, relaxing terrace. The location is really close to the old town which has restaurants, little souvenir shops, the pier too! And Sareena’s fried rice is the best we’ve ever had, as well as her breakfast omelette -yum! Her family and little daughter were so welcoming and kind to us during our stay too. We also got a scooter via Sareena and took to the west side of the island where most of the beaches are - Koh Lanta is a beautiful, tranquil island and Deep House Seaview is a very special place indeed.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Even if our room was overbooked on arrivals they did their maximum to solve the pb and find us a room.

Amazing little raft apartment! It had a beautiful design, stunning sunrise view, lovely deck, fully equipped kitchenette and bathroom. The hammock was awesome to just lie in for the whole morning I wish I could stay longer! I chose this spot as a break away from the busier Koh Lanta west coast and it was so tranquil and perfect. The wonderful hostess was super helpful and booked a tour for me the next day. She was easy to reach and communicated everything upfront. I went to their family restaurant in town and had the best curry of my two months in Thailand. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Very nice view and everything was Perfect;)

When you first arrive the enterence is not so appealing, but once you go along the planked walk way you come to your room which is on stilts over the water. The bed was large and comfortable, the aircon was super cold. There is a verandah which you can sit and watch the boats and sea. There is a fridge and small area to make tea and coffee which was provided. The town is a five minute walk with lots od restaurants. The hosts were lovely people and very helpful

Sareena has put together an amazing homestay. We were overlooking the sea, and when the tide was in, surrounded by it. Sareena went above and beyond, even finding us on the main street in her Tuk Tuk after we arrived from the pier (we had not organised this beforehand). The bed was comfy, and the room was private with a beautiful sunrise view.

One dog was a bit aggressive with its barking and gettting very close to my legs while waking home. Once I clapped my hands the dog left. The host said he just barks but never bites.
