Reviewed Sep 17, 2026Die Unterkunft war im Großen und Ganzen gut. Ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber hat direkt gefragt, was zum Frühstück zusätzlich gemacht werden soll. Direkt darauf hingewiesen, dass es ein Bed and Breakfast ist und verschiedene Lieferdienste gezeigt. Auch am nächsten Tag angeboten zum Bahnhof zu fahren. Ein gemütliches Bed and Breakfast. Sehr gute und freundlicher Service.

Shared bathroom. While we should have noted this when we got the room, which we didn't there are simply too few bathrooms for the number of rooms. There is only one bathroom for three rooms - one of which is a family room that can take five people. Meaning 9 people sharing one bathroom - if there was an internal separate toilet this would be better (they could easily do this in the existing bathroom as they have a bath - which is clearly not used and you need to use permission to use. split the bathroom and add a separate loo. This means late night / early morning trips to the bathroom are OK. It's a genuinely lovely B&B but this needs improving.

El parking bien. Aunque nuestra habitación triple era pequeña existía un salón confortable compartido. El precio es correcto.
No me gusto nada que el cuarto de baño fuese compartido por demasiadas habitaciones, esto ocasiona demasiadas esperas molestas (aunque ya estaba avisado en los datos previos). Los propietarios no eran amables, pero si correctos. Para comprar, cenar o comer había que coger el coche ya que no esta cerca del alojamiento.

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Buena habitación cerca de Glendalough. La habitación tenía todo lo indispensable para pasar la noche y, además, era muy acogedora. Hay plazas de aparcamiento para los coches. El desayuno incluido es estupendo (muy recomendable). El personal es muy agradable, te dan recomendaciones sobre donde comer en la zona. La pensión dispone de una especie de salón con juegos de mesa para pasar el rato.
No dispone de ascensor, por lo que si vais con carro de bebé, tal vez convenga pedir con antelación que la sitúen en la planta baja. Hay una pequeña casa del árbol detrás del alojamiento, si estuviera limpia sería estupenda para que los niños jueguen.

It's not that we didn't like it but we would have preferred not having a shared bathroom. It wasn't so bad until 2 people from different families went to walk towards it at the same time 🤣 everything else was absolutely amazing

La salle de bain n est pas au niveau du reste de la maison très agréable ainsi que le jardin.

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Nous avons aimé l'emplacement et la gentillesse du service du petit déjeuner. Les matelas sont confortables. Il y a divers jeux de société laissés à disposition.
Nous avions une chambre avec salle de bain commune. La salle de bain était très sale: trace de vert sur les joints, bonde de la douche et toilettes bouchées (évacuation très mauvaise). Pour une nuit ça pourrait aller, pour 3 nuits c'est plus compliqué. De plus, il y avait des traces jaunâtres sur les draps. Le gérant nous a expliqué avoir des problèmes d'eau depuis 3 mois, avec une présence de fer très élevée ce qui expliquerait les traces sur le linge.

Reviewed Aug 12, 2026Le petit déjeuner proposé était délicieux, les hôtes sont sympathiques, disponibles et trés accueillants. Le B&B est facile à trouver et il est trés calme, la petite chambre isolé permet de voir des biches au lever du soleil, c'est génial.
Une seule salle de bain au rez de chaussée pour 4 chambres, c'est vraiment peu, d'autant que les toilettes sont à l'intérieur. C'est bien indiqué dans l'annonce mais je n'avais pas compris correctement. Il serait utile de prévoir 2 salles de bains en bas et un toilette à part pour éviter d'attendre quand le B&B est complet.

The water in the bathroom was rust orange. It leaked out of the shower head. Couldn't use the shower. The toilet was old and barely flushed anything down it. Had to get water from the shower into a plastic bin to try and flush the waste. Awful.

Alles was echt goed. De ijskast in de tuinbar mocht iets koeler afgesteld staan (als we dan toch iets negatiefs moeten zoeken 🤔 )

Der Gastgeber Tom bietet einen Transfer vom End/Startpunkt in Glenmalure, sodass dies keine Hürde darstellt. Durch die Nähe zu Rathdrum gibt es z.B. auch Take-out Optionen fürs Abendessen, welches man dann gemütlich im schönen Garten/Außenbereich genießen kann.

Aufgrund der sehr warmen Temperaturen war das Zimmer sehr aufgeheizt. Man musste abends und die Nacht durch querlüften, um angenehme Temperaturen zum Schlafen zu bekommen.

Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns ein Vierbettzimmer ( zugestellt mit Betten ) und Gemeinschafts- WC und Dusche zugeteilt. Angeblich lag ein Buchungsfehler vor und die Unterkunft war voll ausgebucht.
