Cottage by the Lake

Our stay at this luxury cottage was nothing short of spectacular. If you are looking for a blend of high-end comfort and raw natural beauty, this is the perfect escape. The Setting & Accommodation The cottage itself is nestled within a stunning green landscape that feels both secluded and refreshing. Waking up to the lush scenery and the serene presence of the lake provided the peaceful atmosphere we were looking for. Inside, the cottage strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern luxury. It is incredibly well-appointed with all the amenities one could need, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay without losing that " nature focused feel. What truly elevates this experience is the management. The service here is deeply personal and genuinely caring. Dr. Kanthi, the owner, sets a wonderful tone for the entire establishment. Her attention to detail and welcoming nature made us feel at home immediately. The hospitality extends to every staff member. From the diligent maids who kept everything pristine to the gardeners who maintain the beautiful grounds, everyone was exceptionally helpful and attentive to our needs.

The hospitality of the owners combined with the beauty and peace of the location made this one of the best stays I've had in Sri Lanka.

This stay was definitely one of the best places we've got the chance to stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. The hosts; Nisal and his family, were always very attentive and was there to help with any of our queries. You get a wonderful place to yourselves, overlooking a small lake. We loved waking up to the sounds of the birds and seeing tiny ducks swimming around the lake. The accommodation comes fully stocked with complimentary food, drinks, and snacks. It's probably the first place we have seen that comes with a large range of complimentary items. The kitchenette was fully equipped for any type of food preps and cooking. We will definitely visit again. Thank you for hosting us.
