Healing in the City

Nice appt , reasonably central but opposite side from tourist area

No info on anything , ceiling fans not working ( reported but no action ) Washing machine and clothes line - no pegs , 2 clothes hangers , kitchen but no bottle opener , no teaspoons , etc Small things make a big difference to travellers saving time and stress # so easy to fix Still waiting for wifi code after repeated messages , waited for her driver to arrive and charged nearly double Uber quote

Poor start unfortunately we had to wait for assistance then wait again for cleaning to be done then no tv as stated working everyday told it would be sorted but wasn’t workers arrived on day 2 to di work infront of our balcony no hot water to shower cooker only 2 hob work slow only 2 pots in cuboard had to ask for tin opener shame because could be good place but we had problems from day one then night before not air conditioning or lights. Michelle gave us lamps but so hot wasn’t gud last nyt at all although she offered us another room we needed to pack and clean out apartment as u di when leavin next day

Tv should be working clear contact on how to get in apartment we had the neighbours get in touch as we was getting no response maybe upgrade cooker and bigger tv that works and have apartment ready for guests on time as we had to wait around outside so hot for cleaner to come then no offer of drink and we were roasting so sad that happened as booked well in advance also everyday asked about payment atleast a month before going out to then be told wanted cash instead of bank transfer which is what booking.com booked with us so another charge for us not good

Bom

Não gosto faltar funcionário ruim lugar

No pude ingresar al hotel, el codigo que proporcionaron nunca funcionó incluso con la misma anfitriona, pésimo servicio me quitaron el wifi como para seguir conversando

Good location. Close to airport, shops snd taxis. I was reluctantly allowed to check in early. I had made 2 request and had a conversation with the host and was told she would see, especially if the room was already cleaned. However, on arrival, she repeated to staff that check in was at 3pm, but eventually allowed me to check in early, which was appreciated.

No tea making facilities or teas. The door lock wouldn't open and I waited 10 mins for it to reset and open. This was very concerning! I was moved to another room without any discussion from host, no acknowledgement of the issue, no apology nothing!

The Montego bay location

Ac working

The spacious elegance of the decor, minimalistic and modern.

Great location, close to everything I needed. Easy check-in, clean and spacious unit. Host was very responsive.

Nothing. Everything was perfect 👌.

The apartment unit I stayed in was very comfortable and clean.

I liked everything.

Everything the place was clean the space was amazing basically a home away from home.

Nothing

Close to the airport, easy to find, very secure, accommodating, and cozy.

The welcome was super warm. I loved everything about this place . Definitely my spot for this parish. I like that this place was located at the entrance to the city. the mango tree was the perfect shade with the perfect view .

Enough space and clear Communication, host is very well in communicating!

Need to go down some steps

Mika is a wonderful host. She knows her business and communicated with precision and accuracy. As a solo traveler, I appreciated her checking in during my visit to ensure I was satisfied. The apartment was clean and the people friendly. Mrs. Nola is a beautiful lady. She always had a smile and was very welcoming. The yard has plants and trees I've learned are very good for medicinal purposes. Mika encourages you to eat some mangoes from the beautiful tree but I couldn't bring myself to disturb the beauty. I just sat on my private balcony and admired. The A/C worked great and really helped me sleep comfortably. The privacy, cleanliness, and safety of the place centered in the proximity of the city is the biggest bonus.

The street nearby can get a little loud but it didn't disrupt my stay.

Good location. The apartment is big and comfortable. With exceprion of the stove, it was clean. They allowed me to check in earlier, which I appreciate

The stove has ancient grease and the kitchen cabinets need some repairs

Spacious one-bedroom unit with a fully equipped kitchen and reliable wifi and hot water

Great host, great place, great location.

The property was fantastic very comfy like home from home ,quiet safe has everything your require for your stay. I’ve even decided to stay another week.

Everything near all locals shops cheap taxi into Montego Bay also the river, everything is at the property washer machine utilities cooker nice bathroom excellent well worth the money.

Super clean and modern apartment. Very comfortable bed, where I could get a good rest. The host was available for any questions or guidance over the phone (at any time). The apartment is located on a hill and it was easy to walk downtown from there. Supermarkets and small restaurants nearby.

Went there for oue anniversary, we love the apartment, it was very clean and cozy, very private and well equipped, the host was great .walking distance into town. Looking forward to our next visit.

Wish the hot water was a tad hotter.

I Liked everything about the property! I’m really happy I chose this location .!

Everything was perfect !

The property is in a central area. Very convenient

Clean and cozy and comfortable. Definitely will stay again

Lovely home away from home. Very responsive and helpful host, great location. I felt very safe and relaxed. I will definitely be back

Clean

I love the serenity that this place had to offer. Host was very warm and friendly. Facility had everything for a comfortable stay. Restaurant, parks and beaches all in vicinity. Would highly recommend

I liked the layout & facilities of the apartment and proximity to the hub of uptown & downtown Mo'bay life - definitely not touristy. Saturday market life in town brought back memories. Also liked availability of taxis near the apartment, and proximity to Sangsters International airport. Nola and Mika were fabulous, kind and thoughtful hosts. Made my stay post delayed flight & hurricane Beryl pleasurable. Once again, a heartfelt thank you for your hospitality.

Would have liked to get more air in the bathroom, and perhaps add a fresh light air freshener.. if you're a light sleeper, you may not welcome traffic noise.

It's very nice apartment with 2 bedrooms, ideal for 2 travellers or 2 couples. There is also spaceous living room with kitchen. There is A/C in each bedroom. And host is very nice and helpful, very easy to comunicate.

It's little bit further from the beach, but if you like to walk, you can easily walk there, although it will take around 30 minutes. Better to have a car...

The hospitality was exceptional

The host was helpful and the lady who worked for the host. Did have Netflix and YouTube. Looks like the picture. I do like to be in the culture out of country, but it's not for everyone.

The place water didn't get warm (I couldn't wait to get home to a warm shower), air conditioner only good to cool bedroom during the day. I thought it would be peaceful by its name, but the area was shady and noisy by intersection. The bed was very hard and felt like a boxspring to me. (Some may like that). It's more costly to get to excursions because it's not a pick-up point.

The location was very close to the town. It was easily accessible. I love where it was situated. Was a good area to have a cook out or bbq

Quiet zone, great for a multiday stay if you want to enjoy the real city, we felt very welcomed, an Uber way takes you quick to anywhere and the place is great and recently renovated. Our host Mika is a great soul and very easy to chat with, she will provide local recommendations and support for anything. Will be coming over again to stay at hers.

Really nice space, next to the touristic area but not in the deep of it, very helpful owner

Everything was great

The location, the privacy, the comfort, the courtesy of the property owner, the hot water shower, kitchen to prepare my own vegan meals and I literally walk in town everyday.

I don’t have anything negative to say about the property. I had a really relaxing time

Great place, location and price. The host is amazing! Ensures you are well, safe and if you need something or need to get there she goes above and beyond to help. She really is a blessing. We will be back

Wish I had stayed longer

Everything I loved the host most of all. She was SO professional and checked on me every day. She was in Toronto and sent a beautiful birthday gift for me. She made sure I was safe at all times and I met her lovely friend that took me around the island and kept me very very safe. Such a lovely lady.

I didn't like that I had to go back to the UK:( I didn't want to leave. The apartment was so so modern and had everything I needed!!! Very clean and secure

The flat was very nice, clean and our host, Michelle, was very helpful!

We didn't like Montego Bay as a city, but this is nothing about the flat!

it was incredible spacious clean simply amazing it was close to the town we could walk to supermarkets popular fast food restaurants and the host is such a lovely person 100/100 would recommend to everyone BOOK NOW you won’t regret it

The place is great. All new and clean and with all facilities included. Allison is awesome and helped us a lot, Thank you for your kindness Allison!!

The wifi was not working at all. Being a tourist is essential having internet to communicate or searching for routes and places once there. There was a comment before our staying mentioning that wifi was not working at all, so this issue should have been fixed before our arrival.

location is great to everything local

wifi could be better

Beautiful modern apartment in Montego Bay centre, everything was new, hosts were friendly, helpful and very responsive, great view

wifi was slow but we were told these are completely new flats and the wifi will be better in future
