The Royal Manor Inn

Trato familiar y exquisito.

Todo estaba óptimo de verdad.

Beautifully appointed, clean, quiet and well maintained.

Nothing

Lovely setting in a historic house. Tasty breakfasts with appropriate portions. Friendly staff who cared about the property and guests' happiness. Location is easily walkable to town and nicely set a bit off the beaten path.

Our en suite bathroom was beautiful but lacked a ceiling (it connected directly to the bedroom). You'd best be quite intimate with your partner because they'll hear everything you're doing in there. Wasn't a big deal to us but could be for some.

Gorgeous gardens, relaxing sitting areas, quiet and peaceful

Honestly this was an experience beyond what we anticipated. Bertha is so very accommodating and fostered an atmosphere of complete relaxation. Her breakfasts were divine and copious, and the art and decor created an aesthetic that was akin to an art gallery.

TV channels

It was clean and well managed. The host Bertha was very friendly and accommodating, also cooked a great breakfast!

The no shoes policy was not clearly stated before we arrived at the facility and would have prevented us from booking the facility if we had known about it beforehand. While we understand the need for the policy, we were unprepared for it

Our whole experience was amazing! NOTL is a beautiful place, great theatre, shopping and dining. We were able to walk to everything! Bertha was great, accommodations were beautiful, very thoughtfully done and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous. Can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay. We will definitely be back.

3 course breakfast was delicious , nutritious and satisfying - saved us from buying lunch! Host was very hospitable ; immaculately clean; convenient location

Beautifully decorated rooms with quality furniture and art. Lovely garden with outdoor fireplace.

Beautiful place in a stunning setting

Wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable. Incredible breakfast, very delicious. Beautiful home and garden area. Extremely friendly staff and very helpful. 100% recommend.

This B&B is a beautifully updated modern property. We loved the homemade breakfasts, and Bertha was an amazing host! Loved the back patio, fireplace, and glass of wine to welcome us. Our room was in front, and had a water view. Great recommendations for the local food and wineries and unique shops to visit in the area. Will definitely return, and highly recommend!

Charming place, great walking area. However, Bertha made the B&B stay the best ever. She is a priceless asset and human being. Hope to visit the area again in the near future. Thanks again. G and Lori R.

We had a great time at Royal Manor Inn. Bertha was a treasure as she was a wealth of information and her 3 course breakfast was wonderful. The Inn has been recently renovated and gathering spaces indoors and out are perfect!

The place was absolutely fantastic, and Bertha was an amazing host. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was outstanding, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

This property was beautiful, quiet and close to the lake as well as the town. I would highly recommend it!

The host Bertha was so welcoming. She prepared amazing food and made our arrival most welcoming. Our tendency when offered comforts is to say "oh thank you but we're fine," but Bertha encouraged us to accept her little offers, as simple as glasses of lemon water when our day ended and we were heading upstairs.

Nothing!

Lovely Inn. Innkeeper Bertha was very friendly and prepared excellent three course breakfasts each morning. The property had a covered patio that was lovely to relax in throughout the evening. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

The house and gardens were beautiful and peaceful. Our host, Bertha, was fabulous! The breakfast was to die for and wonderfully prepared. We will definitely be back to visit this little slice of paradise.

The facility was beautiful and well maintained. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe.

The "No shoes" policy was a bit off-putting. It seems unnecessary and should have been disclosed BEFORE we arrived. The breakfasts were disappointing. I think the preparer was trying too hard to be elitist.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations! The room was clean and comfortable, and our host, Bertha, was very kind. She recommended nearby places for us to visit, such as a restaurant with a beautiful view of the lake. She served an excellent breakfast, too. Each morning, we enjoyed delicious dishes made with fresh fruits and vegetables. While we were there, we enjoyed Eggs Benedict, strata, watermelon, and more. Everyone at our table loved the presentation. She gave us a big hug when we left. We'd love to come back!

Bertha was an exceptional hostess and the breakfasts she served us each day were delicious! Our room was so clean and we had a beautiful view of the Niagara River.

Wonderful accommodations!

Loved our stay and when we ever visit NOTL again we will be staying here for sure. Bertha is a wonderful host and very helpful. The room, dining area and outdoor space were all beautiful and recently upgraded without loosing the old charm of the 200yr old house. The breakfast Bertha serves each morning is amazing, homemade and very unique (we went to some fancy restaurants during our stay but the breakfasts were right up there). You can walk up the street to the main are of NOTL and also right next to Fort George. It's a quiet and cozy without being far away from the action. Amazing stay!

We loved everything about the property—gorgeous gardens, relaxing patio, beautiful home with amazing artwork throughout! Bertha was a terrific host and handles every detail of the inn flawlessly. Can’t say enough good things about The Royal Manor Inn.

Sorry…we didn’t dislike anything. It was all wonderful!

Host was wonderful friendly and knowledgeable. property close to the downtown area but quiet safe and no traffic noise breakfast was delicious nicely located walkable to attractions and restaurants house is beautifully appointed and beds comfortable everything was clean I would stay there again

The host, Bertha was absolutely amazing! It was such a cute bed and breakfast with an amazing patio and fireplace. Breakfast everyday was delicious! We will definitely be staying again in the future.

The host was lovely! She made two simply scrumptious breakfasts for us both mornings. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The manor is in walking distance to the shopping, theater and a quick walk down to wonderful views of the lake. Highly recommend if you like a quiet neighborhood away from the crowds, yet a hop away from the hub of it all.

The overall experience was exceptional. Beautiful venue, with a fabulous outdoor patio. Great breakfasts from Bertha. Tasteful decorations in the house. Comfortable, we'll appointed room. Great location. And Bertha was a fantastic host!

Place is impeccable and Bartha breakfast was wonderful

Bertha the hostess was amazing for recommendations on things to do and restaurants. The art and decor in this updated beautiful old house was wonderful. And the breakfasts were delicious! Meeting the other guests was also a great experience. I will definitely stay there again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Will go back for sure

It was very nice, but I thought a bit expensive for a small room with only one armchair. The only window was behind the headboard. I was able to open it, but could not open the shutters that covered it—really obstructed view. In the event of a fire, if the hallway had been full of smoke, the only way to get out of that window would have been to move the wooden queen-sized bed. I would never have chosen that room. The house manager was lovely, and the breakfasts were good. It would have been nice to have access to ice and an ice bucket. Actually, my fault. I should have called in the reservation myself rather than using Expedia. I don’t think I would stay there again.

Great property, exactly as advertised. Bertha is an incredible host. Very attentive and makes a wonderful breakfast. We will be back. Thanks Bertha!

Wonderful relaxing covered area at the back of the property. Really comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good too.

Bertha is very welcoming and informative! The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a great location. Breakfast was amazing. I especially liked the fireplace outside.

There was nothing not to like!

breakfast was awesome. I like the location, out of the way yet close enough to walk to all downtown sites.

Can't say that there is anything to dislike!

Bertha is an excellent host and looked after us so well. Her breakfast is legendary! The property is in such a peaceful setting you feel relaxed the minute you arrive. The outdoor area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding nature

The property is beautiful, relaxing, and well maintained. The hostess, Bertha, was very accommodating and very pleasant. I highly recommend this place which is within walking distance to the town. Quite an enjoyable experience!

Great location, quiet area, newly renovated modern/contemporary, excellent breakfasts, well manicured gardens. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the Royal Manor Inn! Bertha the inn manager was so welcoming and helpful. The inn was recently renovated and is beautiful. Our room was spacious and we loved the vaulted ceiling in the bathroom. Breakfast was delicious too. We will definitely stay here again when we're in NOTL!

Exceptionally decorated and comfortable clean property, house manager went out her way to help with any ask, very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing every day. Location ideal short walk from town centre.

Nothing to dislike, great stay.

Stunning! Private! Amazing staff!! Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away. Breakfast in the morning is beyond delicious! Beds are comfortable. Spacious quiet rooms!

Outstanding. Bertha is an amazing host. We couldn’t be happier. Gorgeous inn. Love the history as well. It’s such a nice touch to have afternoon wine in the lounge offered by the inn. The breakfasts were truly amazing. Everything was so fresh. We can’t wait to go back and stay there again. Very cozy and comfortable.

The property is so nice and quaint. Newly renovated and very clean. The best part was our hostess. She cooks an amazing breakfast and is very pleasant. She remembers everyones name and knows a lot about the area to help you navigate. We will be back!

Best B&B we ever stayed at. Bertha was a wonderful hostess. Great breakfast and afternoon wine time! Highly recommended, we will be back often.

This newly and exceptionally remodeled B&B has everything you want as a guest, including eclectic, art and furnishings. There are five rooms with private baths, with many places to sit from the lovely sitting room to rocking chairs on the side porch and the covered outside patio, all relaxing locations. We loved the Koi fishpond with waterfalls. Bertha is an exceptional hostess and she cooked delicious and plentiful breakfasts considering food allergies. The theatres are in walking distance. The wineries are easily reached by bike or car. We will be back.

Wonderful service, great location. Cant wait to come back.

Amazing! This property changed hands and was completely renovated early in 2024. We stayed for 2 nights in mid-June and were absolutely blown away. The house and gardens are immaculate, and the covered patio area was so inviting. Just a gorgeous property! The location is perfect, too. Close to the lake and the shops but tucked on a quiet road that felt very private and secluded. Bertha, the property manager, was wonderful - very kind and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for more!!

Beautiful remodelled 200 year old house, beautifully kept property. Quiet and relaxing. Walking distance to Queen street. An excellent house keeper. We enjoyed everything about this place. We would definitely go back.
