Stylish Sunlit Ocean View Oasis!

This apartment exceeded our expectations as a family. It is in a wonderful location, within walking distance of lovely restaurants and cafes as well as the promenade. It has stunning views and it is fully equipped for an easy and comfortable stay. Everyone was kind and helpful.

Everything from the views to the easy check in process.

Nothing not to like

Absolutely nothing

The hosts are dishonest, property current state doesn’t reflect the true condition of the place.

This was really a comfortable apartment which was super clean and comfortable! Highly recommend

We loved everything about the place.

Nothing....

Brilliant location. View also breathtaking

Asemrowende uitsig Pragtige woonstel! Well equiped

Beautiful location overlooking Blouberg Strand with Table Mountain and Cape Town in the background. The amenities were great and we had a very comfortable stay.

Check-in process was a little converluted.

Location very food, view excellent. Was comfortable. Think needs a bit of maintenance.

I did not like the fact that there is no refund should something happen and you need to cancel or change dates. I did not like the fact that there was a hidden R950 cleaning fee (unit not serviced will you stay). If the R950 was included in the advertised amount. The communication from the start of the booking was definitely not welcoming at all. It was more like NO this and No that. I just did not like John's attitude - and then at the end, thank you for keeping the apartment clean. Please could you give 10/10 rating. Please don't ask. Rather, be more welcoming from the start, and dont assume everyone renting the apartment will mess it up. Doors at the entrance ridiculously hard to open. I know it's probably difficult but windows can be cleaner, can only really enjoy view if clean. Blind in main bedroom with sea view did not work so blind stayed closed throughout our stay even when reported on the first day.

Excellent location that suited our needs. Beautiful unit with beautiful views. Had everything we needed for our short stay. Unit was very clean and well decorated.

Tenants at a unit a few floors below was smoking and talking very loud in the early hours of the morning - the smoke from their cigarettes came into our unit via open windows in our unit & with their loud talking at 2 - 3am in the morning it was very difficult to have a good sleep.

Location great. A stylish apartment Beautiful views

Some crockery in the kitchen was chipped Kitchen not well equipped Limited cutlery No bowls No table mats Lamps in bedrooms were not connected to the electricity 😏 No plug fitting in wall Very inconvenient 🙄 The address was vague. We went to Ocean View. Nowhere on the communication was the name of the Apartment block, the Waves communicated. The lady that was going to assist us was unfriendly, unhelpful and quite rude. Not welcoming at all. A bad start for our stay. We will not stay here again. Definitely not value for money

Lovely spot and top location.

View and location were excellent.

The windows were unpleasant dirty. A view through them was almost impossible.

Quiet no disturbances

When we had to leave I struggled getting the agent to open the gate I had to ask neighbours to open for me

Great location, awesome view, very spacious

The incredible views and perfect location

The views from almost every room The cleanliness, this apartment has everything you need

Great location and view of table mountain and ocean. Large bright apartment in safe area. Recommend

maybe it's time to wash the windows)

Beautiful apartment amazing view!

I couldn't stay longer!

The place was under construction and they still allowed me to book

My refund seance I didn't stay in a place

Location and view were great, apartment was nicely decorated

The pics looked a better than the place, apartment was a bit cramped and not as spotless as the reviews suggested. Washing machine is in a laundry room not in the apartment, and there is no dishwasher. Some of the cupboards, beds and furniture are a bit worn out. It was quite cold, and the only heater was a gas heater. The gas cylinder was empty, when I spoke to the host about it, he said I was more than welcome to go and get it filled myself. I was quite shocked at this, terrible hospitality. The host was very quick to tell us someone had made a noise complaint, which was just kids playing, but slow to help. The worst part of the experience was with regards to the deposit. The host said nothing about the deposit until I asked a few days after checking out. The response I received was, have you submitted the review? The 2 have nothing to do with each other, but apparently, I could only get the deposit back after I had submitted my review as it was an "automated system!" In all honesty, it seemed as if I would get the deposit back only if I submitted a good review... as well as a discount for future trips. This was implied, not stated, but it was a strong impression I did not want to be pushed into a false review, nor was I ready to review until the deposit issue had played out. I was eventually told after a few days (and standing my ground with regards to the review) that I would not be getting my deposit back as the body corp had fined the host for the noise complaint. I booked the place because it had excellent reviews, but I then understood why. The whole experience was very upsetting. The apartment itself is not bad, but it's not as great as it seems, and the service was very sad.

Beautiful apartment with stylish decor and comfortable furniture, beds, and linen. Well-equipped kitchen. Lovely views over Blouberg Beach toward Table Mountain. The building feels safe and secure and noise levels are very low. Hearing the ocean from one's room and the lounge and kitchen is a huge bonus. The dedicated host, Solay, was ready to kindly assist every time I contacted her, even fifteen days after our stay, to try and retrieve the deposit refund.

Stop advertising prices where customers are not warned about hidden costs. The day before my arrival, I was sent communication from John (no mobile number provided) about the surprise R1000 "security deposit" that had to be paid or I WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED ACCESS to the keys. My stay had been fully paid through Booking.com! This is super unprofessional. I was promised a refund on the day of departure. The kind host, Solay, was my only route of communication with the mysterious, uncommunicative John. FIFTEEN DAYS and several unanswered emails later, Solay managed to get us our refund. AS much as I loved the apartment, I will not stay there again, due to the utterly unprofessional way in which this "security deposit" was forced upon me, and for which I had to plead for more than two weeks to be refunded, without a single word of apology from John. A hairdryer would have been handy. Parking allocated for rental guests is limited.

Clean, beautiful, everything you need!

Perfect location, very beautiful apartment i wish i could stay longer

Very close to the beach and restaurants, The area is quite and peaceful. There was a gas heater in the apartment to keep us warm

Nothing really

The apartment was very clean, everything was so fresh, white towels and sheets were actually white and not stained. The views were amazing. There were toiletries available and cleaning stuff for dishes, first aid kit - which I haven't had at self catering apartment complexes in Joburg - so we came prepared for self catering but we found we didn't need to buy some things right away. The apartment is as per the ad and looks even better in person.

First of all the view on the ocean and table mountain was sooooo gorgeous! We had the beach just down the building and plenty of restaurants and shop around as well as a great place for birding (for people loving birds) just nearby with flamingos, pelicans, ducks and geese,… a bit out of Cape Town as we expected but definitively not a problem! It’s almost a straight line to town and it was easy to get there. Really a great stay!

The parking for visitors was often full so I had to wait a while for someone to move…

Felt like I was home

The windows needed to be cleaned more often

This was my second stay at this apartment and it was no less amazing than the first time I stayed here. It has become such an oasis of peace when I need to getaway for some peace of mind and relaxation. The all-encompassing views of the ocean and the sound of the waves are such a balm to my soul. I would highly recommend this place with no reservations :)

The view was absolutely breathtaking. I don’t think I’ve seen a better view to date it was phenomenal. The host is also extremely helpful and checkin was super easy.

Everything: location, ease of checking in and out, views, cleanliness, etc

Lights can be a bit tricky to figure out; couldn’t turn on light above dining table. Also main bedroom light not working

Highly recommend, exceptional place. Really safe and we really enjoy our stay. Amazing apartment. Helpful host

I enjoyed the spectacular views of the ocean and the neighbourhood 👌😀

Very modern and stylish furnishings and decor, yet with a homely feel to it, Fantastic views of Blouberg as well as Table Mountain. The patio is under cover which offers a relaxing atmosphere and sheltered from the elements.

We unfortunately could not stay longer as it was just overnight for a wedding. Would have loved to enjoy the apartment for another night or 2.

This is a gem of a unit. I think possibly the nicest place to stay in Bloubergstrand. Lovely place. The unit is extremely comfortable and very well designed. If this place is available, make sure to book this unit.

Everything was perfect.

We loved everything about our stay. To say the apartment is beautiful would be an understatement. The pictures don’t do it enough justice, it’s even more breathtaking in person. The apartment is clean, smells amazing, the kitchen has all the thoughtful additions you don’t normally find at other listings that make the property feel like a home away from home. The apartment not only has a breathtaking view of the ocean but is close enough to hear the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. It felt like a peaceful haven and we’d gladly go back. The host is incredibly kind and communicates well. You won’t regret a single second spent in this property.

Nothing in particular, I cannot fault the property. I’d just note that the bathrooms don’t afford a lot of privacy but I wouldn’t say that takes away from the exceptionality of the place.

Excellent location. Beautiful apartment. The stay was just too short. Will definitely come again..! Want to thank the host for being very understanding, and helpful with teh booking in process

For someone who is not technical savvy, the booking in process can be a bit if a challenge. However, the host tries to overcome this by making Youtube videos to assist with gathering the keys, getting to the apartment, and opening up the apartment door. I like the fact that there is no physical interaction, and you can arrive any time, but you need to follow the instructions to the tee, else you may struggle to get the keys in the locked safety box, and enter the apartment. It's a very ingenius way to book in, and it is a very secure process, protecting both the owner, and the guest.

The views , the place is gorgeous and safe surroundings

Neighbors saying we making noise but the volume was so low for the television ending switching off TV before quiet time to avoid Amy issues.

Absolutely loved this place! Was so comfortable and beautiful place.

Very beautiful and clean The view is everything. The bath is great for my tall people out there 🥳 long legs fitting in the tub 🛀🥹

Wow! The apartment is very stylish and has a fantastic view!Is also smells super nice!
