Reviewed Mar 26, 2025Place has great location. This terrace with view is really lovely, you can literally stay all evening just admiring the palace. The hosting family is bery nice and they are trying to do their best (whenever this is a breakfest, or some recomendation). Beds are comfortable. Good quality/price ratio.
6 Beds dormitory does not look like as good as in the photo. the biggest problem is lack of window (other rooms has windows). Because of that there is no ventilation and it stink a little bit after using a toilet. No hot water in the shower (only in tap).

From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was memorable. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby! The location is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants. The hotel’s facilities, and the breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Reviewed Nov 26, 2024Nice location with a lovely view on the City Palace. The historical center is easily reachable by foot from the property. The owner kindly accepted a late check-in around 11.30pm, although it usually stops at 10pm.
The bedroom was not clean: hair found on the bedsheet and on the blanket which has no cover at all. The bedroom has very basic amenities as described (although we didn’t find any plug near by the bed), which would be fine if only it was clean. The door of the bathroom opens on the bedroom itself, which can be inconvenient (although there was a small window inside). There was no shower as such, the water was only coming from a tap -we didn’t mind, but some people might.

The view from the room and balcony was absolutely stunning, with a direct sightline to the palace and the city. The room itself had a very nice sitting area, making it perfect for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. A special mention to Bobby, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He guided us in planning our day and gave us some great suggestions, making our trip even more enjoyable. The added bonus of being able to rent a scooty on-site was perfect for exploring the area at our own pace. Highly recommended!

Reviewed Mar 21, 2024A lovely family-run place. Bobby was really kind and helpful. He gave us advice about where to go in the old city, and boiled water for us every morning so we could have coffee. The guest house has an amazing view both of the palace and the monkey families living in the trees below. It’s a 5 minute walk to the centre of everything so it’s very convenient.
A window in our room would have made it better.

Reviewed Mar 2, 2024Bobby was a great host. Jack of All Trades and A One Men Army. He tried to accommodate all our request whilst doing many other things. He personally made us breakfast although i don't think they generally have the service as they did not have a menu. He asked us what we wanted and made some good food for us. He also tried to arrange an Auto driver to take us around and as it was last minute no one was available especially no one who could communicate in English and he decided to drive us around himself in his auto as we were strapped for time as we were only there for a day. He juggle between taking us and dropping us off at places of interest and checking in other guests at his property as it was fully booked when we were there. He would drop us off and we would call him once we were done and he would come and fetch us and drop us off at the next destination. He also spoke great English and was very knowledgable about the area. He also arranged transport to take us to the train station in the early hours of the morning.Thank you Bobby for everything. View of the Palace and overall city was great from terrace both at night and during the day time.
A bit of a hike to reach property but well worth after you see the view. There could be better toilet and shower facilities. As there was only one toilet/shower outside our 4 bunk bed room we had to wait sometimes to use it.

We reached around 7AM in the morning and got check-in immediately luckily the previous guest had checked out early. The property is budget friendly and there are no hidden charges. The homestay is located at the centre of city from where we can visit the top attractions by walking only. The room and bed is very clean. Highly recommended when visiting with family/friends.

Well…morning time all 3 nights. Some person who sells, something or the other came to play advertising music at 9 am. I like to sleep till 10 or 11 on vacation. So I was not stoked on that.
