How short my stay was!

The Leisure centre was very good, pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steamroom, Gym, staff friendly

The Breakfast was not being filled up with Breakfast items, Fruit and pastry were not filled up and short of Hot foods items as well....

Everything, had a wonderful sleep, comfy beds, ckean rooms, amazing staff, delicious breakfast. Overall, fantastic experience!

Excellent facilities with the attached gym and pool. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Well equipped and comfortable room.

Have been using this Hotel for a number of years and it is now showing its age. Fire alarm went off at 4.35am but it was a false alarm.

All the staff on the property were really friendly if we need anything they would be right on I would recommend the hotel to anyone

The very kind, friendly staff really made such a difference with their warm welcome. The room was clean and tidy and it was lovely to have a bath as most hotels have showers.

The lift was broken which made carrying heavy luggage upstairs a challenge. The bar food was good, however, the breakfast was poor. I am fed up with cheap rubbishy orange juice, the fruit salad was a mix of tinned fruit.. and looked days old. I can't honestly understand how difficult is it to get fresh fruit, especially as it is summer and there's a glut of pears, plums, strawberries, apples etc.. the flapjacks appeared to be homemade, but were stale. The rasher was like leather.. need I go on Seriously, breakfasr is everyone's favourite meal of the day but short cuts just make me feel annoyed..not a good start to the day!!!

Second time staying in the woodlands hotel waterford, Lovely hotel,food fabulous,staff were fantastic, especially the young staff where we had dinner on the 2 nights we stayed,they were out standing,the staff on reception were lovely too and the staff in the breakfast room were lovely also.

Only thing i didn’t like was the room we stayed in the walls were filthy,a quick wash down between guests would have done the job,the beds were ok but the pillows were shocking,flat and very hard,ended up having a crick in my neck for 2 days afterwards! An upgrade of pillows wouldn’t go a miss!

Very friendly staff all over the hotel, esp a waitress in the bar was very kind to our daughter. Nice pool. Clean room and clean overall hotel. Live band in bar were great.

Restaurant/bar table was sticky and food was very dry and taste less. It said pay on arrival but they placed a hold on my account for the payment for the night a few days before which I didn't like really. I paid cash on arrival and I'm still waiting for the hold to fall off my account over the next few days.

The breakfast was delicious...the staff were very helpful and friendly

Water from the shower was cold and the water from the bath tap was brown

It’s very dated needs new carpet on corridors very stained, the bed sheet around the base had stains on it, the breakfast was cold and dry not value for money of €11:50

Quiet and cosey, bar inside serves food till nine, leisure pool, unfortunately didn't get time to use but was included, double bed was actually at king, would definitely come back again.

Rooms and hotel outdated ,carpets really really dirty in room and hall way horrible stale smell .....liquid marks running down wall in room ,not sure if its water or what.....shower terrible goes hot n cold and if someone is using sink tap shower goes cold!!!!!at this day and ago thats terrible for hotel room......with charging €199 for one night its totally not acceptable, by far the worst place we have stayed .....

Lovely spacious room, nice bed, good bathroom, staff were excellent, friendly and facilitating.

A bit pricey but it was a Saturday night in summer so to be expected. Breakfast - food was great, but I prefer when it’s not a buffet. Kettle in room didn’t work but staff replaced it when asked.

Good location, the pub had good grub and service.

Everything was fine apart from two things (mentioned below)

1. There was only one armchair in the room even though there were two of us in the room. 2. Also, the air extractor fan outside the window of our room (from the kitchens I think) was very noisy and that noise continued until late at night.

The decor in the room was all peeling. The restaurant staff at breakfast wasn’t very happy. We had to enquire about the breakfast as said it was included on Booking.com but the breakfast staff said no. However the reception sorted it out.

They taxed me for twice even i sat just one night. When i called them back to ask why i have bern charged for twice they replied “ we ring you back in a minute” . That happened one month ago . They never called back

Staff flustered at check in because 4-5 arrived at same time. General maintenance lacking...leaking tap, cracked tile and extractor not working in bathroom. Informed staff which appeared indifferent to issues. Breakfast underwhelming.

The place is filthy. Carpet outside our room was black with dirt. No lock on the bathroom door. 1 lift was out of order and the working one shudders on decent. The hairdryer flex was so short you had to sit on the floor to dry hair. It was hard wired in and brought through a drawer too far away from the plug! Food was only ok. Breakfast hadn't a great choice. The pool area isn't clean. The corners of the pool have mould as do the tiles at the entry and exit steps. The changing rooms are in a poor state and freezing cold. The hotel needs total refurbishment to bring up to standard.

The room was huge perfect for us best thing about the stay pool facilities where good for the children

Hairdryer did not work in room and the shower went hot and cold constantly waited ages to be served in bar had to find someone to take our order .

Didn't have breakfast. Not included in price of nearly 500 euro for tea nights. Pool was ok but dressing rooms didn't smell very good

For the price I paid it would have been nice have out room refreshed. New water bottles and coffee replenished.

The parking is convenient

Very old and dated family room has lots of water damage on walls. Shower was also very old fashioned very expensive for the standard of the rooms and facilities

Room had a nice a nice view of river. For the most part, it was quiet. Room was spacious and had a bath. Very nice waiter in restaurant. Bottles of water left in room which was good, especially in the hot weather.

Quite a dated feel. Decor and room could do with a refresh. Not a very friendly welcome, and no thanks for your stay at departure. Small things!. Would have been nice to have a biscuit with the tea making facilities. Plesent but not a memorable stay.
