We spent some time at the pool on our last day. The floor was very dirty. There were workmen doing something, but even still, the floor could have been cleaned.

Unfortunately my room AC was not working and the night was quite difficult with the heat. The hotel was fully booked so nothing could be done. I received a free breakfast as a compensation which was appreciated.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026The only thing this hotel has going for it is its excellent location right in front of the Cathedral and the kind staff.
I would NOT recommend this stay. The hotel is dark and stuffy — the pictures make it seem modern and sleek, which is deceiving. The air conditioning DOES. NOT. WORK. AT. ALL. You’ve been warned. Add to this that the sheets are made of jersey material and WILL stick to your skin as you sweat yourself to sleep. The bathroom is truly baffling. Be prepared to be visible to your family while you attempt to use the toilet or shower as half of the walls are glass. Also, our shower flooded during our stay, so that was lovely. Lastly, the room is small and poorly arranged, so don’t expect to have space to comfortably move about during your time there.

Les équipements sont à la hauteur pour un prix adapté à l’offre, notamment la piscine avec une vue unique! Petit dej délicieux.

Quite complicated controls for lighting and curtains were a bit fiddly. The hotel was a bit noisy in the evening with the room door not very soundproof.

Parking is about 200 meters away, about 17€ per day.

Reviewed Aug 29, 2026La piscina arriba con las vistas a la catedral, lo cómoda que era la cama y la ventana grande tan alegre con su luz natural.
Que tuviéramos que encender y apagar todas las luces de forma inteligente. Preferíamos que al menos la del baño se encendiera desde el mismo. Tengo que añadir que la encimera del baño o en negro queda bonita pero no es limpia, es súper difícil limpiarla y el seno está demasiado alto, así que el agua salpica hacia arriba. Y lo que no nos gustó tampoco es que desde un lado de la cristalera de la ducha se viera el baño desde fuera.

Das Frühstück war zu stark reglementiert. Eine zweite Scheibe Brot kostet extra. Der Blick aus dem Fenster zeigte auf Hinterhof und Bauruinen mit Tauben. Wenn man mit offenem Fenster schlafen möchte, braucht man Ohropax, obwohl die Glocke der Kathedrale nachts nicht läuten. In der Rooftop - Bar werden ausschließlich Cocktails serviert.

De airco werkt heel slecht en dat is in de zomer geen goede service. Echt te warm ‘s nachts waardoor we heel slecht geslapen hebben. Water van zwembad was te warm en leek beetje vies.

Merci aux super personnels de l’hôtel : l’accueil, serveuse au petit déjeuner, le personnel d’entretien, et au bar à cocktails. La piscine est conforme aux photos et la vue sur la cathédrale est vraiment incroyable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, le service est rapide et efficace. Je recommande vivement, Merci beaucoup !

Aircon wall unit was not working in our room in July. So had a floor mobile fan you could add water into. The rooftop bar only served cocktails and spirits, not wine by the glass. The entrance and corridors were painted black like entering a gentleman's private club!!

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026La ubicación, la superatención del personal, tan cercana, amable, familiar, respetuosa, te solucionan los problemas de inmediato y siempre están pendiente de ti y de tu bienestar. Las habitaciones amplias, impecables, muy limpias y la cama extraordinariamente cómoda. La cantidad de detalles y servicios que ofrecen, que a pesar de ser un hotel de 3 estrellas, lo convierten en uno de 5 estrellas. Resaltar también la amabilidad de Álvaro de la coctelería, se nota que en este hotel son como una familia y te hacen sentir de la familia.
Lo único que habría que mejorar es que la habitación no tenía persiana y la cortina opaca no cerraba del todo, por lo que dejaba entrar desde primera hora la luz del amanecer.

Las vistas a la catedral desde las habitaciones hacen que la experiencia sea INMEJORABLE en Cádiz. El personal es amable y atento y las instalaciones están muy limpias. La habitación es estupenda. Una cama grande y muy cómoda. Pero lo del baño ya es una pasada… VAYA DUCHA!! Un lujo. Por último, la pedazo de terraza con piscina que tienen en la parte superior del edificio. Sobran los comentarios… Deseando repetir estamos. Enhorabuena a todos!!

Bei über 40 Grad Außentemperatur war die Klimaanlage defekt. Auf Nachfrage gab es lediglich einen Ventilator, der kaum gekühlt hat. Ein anderes Zimmer gab es angeblich nicht mehr. Online konnte man aber noch freie Zimmer erkennen. Sehr enttäuschend.

The pool and bar area were a little disappointing, not very clean and a bit old and tired. Cocktail bar is cramped and expensive.

Pues nos decían constantemente que no habíamos pagado el desayuno con el pack que tiene el desayuno nos la comprobaron dos veces distintas y creo que era por nuestra forma de castor ya que somos humildes con nuestra ropa y demás

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Lovely boutique hotel, excellent staff, very helpful. Great location for the old town. Worthy to note that the hotel allows children and this did impact our ability to use the pool.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026All the staff were so friendly and attentive - they provided such great service throughout our stay here! The bathroom and shower were particularly lovely. We enjoyed the record player, this is a great quirky touch. The view out to the cathedral was amazing Olom Hotel has such a great location to explore Cádiz

Durch die eigentlich gute Lage gegenüber von der Kathedrale gibt es keinen Parkplatz unmittelbar am Hotel. Für Leute mit großen Koffern weniger geeignet . Der Pool ist mehr ein Planschbecken.
