Hardangerfjord View - luxury fjord-side holiday home

Wir waren als Familie zu viert mit zwei fast erwachsenen Kindern in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Das Haus ist grosszügig und es gibt viele verschiedene Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht und noch vieles mehr. Es standen sogar schon Kaffee-Tabs für den ersten Tag bereit (Nespresso-Maschine). Es gibt auch eine Schublade in der Küche, in der man Lebensmittel, die man selber nicht mehr braucht, zur Verfügung stellen kann für die nächsten Mieter. Der Blick auf den Fjord ist einzigartig. Uns hat auch gefallen, dass man zu Fuss in den Ort laufen konnte zum Einkaufen. Dies ist in Norwegen ja eher selten...Sarah ist sehr freundlich und hat jede Frage umgehend beantwortet. Wir würden dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ein komfortables Haus in ruhiger Lage. Die Vermieterin war jederzeit erreichbar und hat bereits im Vorfeld nützliche Hinweise zum Haus und viele Vorschläge für Sightseeing gegeben. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer ist groß und gemütlich. 2 Zimmer sind recht klein, da wir aber nur 3 der 5 Zimmer bewohnt haben, war es kein Problem. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, es gibt viele Decken und Pölster zur Verfügung. Auch die Baustelle vor dem Haus war, wie vorhergesagt, nicht in Betrieb und hat daher nicht gestört. Das Haus liegt in einer sehr schönen Gegend, von wo aus man viele Ausflüge starten kann.

Das Badezimmer hätte ein bisschen sauberer sein können bei der Ankunft.

Very nice house, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you might need during your stay. It offers a beautiful view over the fjord and is within walking distance of Øystese, shops, and other amenities. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures. Sarah is an excellent host—very supportive from the very beginning. Check-in was easy and completely contactless.

What could be improved is the access road and the parking area. The access road is narrow and made of gravel, so it may not be ideal for all vehicles. During our stay, it was easier to park on the main road in front of the house, which is currently closed due to reconstruction. Just for information, the neighboring house is also under renovation. It did not disturb us in terms of noise, but the construction work is visible and slightly affects the surroundings visually.

We had an amazing stay! The cabin had everything we needed, and you can tell that every little detail was really well thought out. The biggest thank you goes to the owner – she was always available, incredibly helpful, and her clear instructions made everything so easy.

The house was cozy, clean and comfortable. It was one of the best places we have stayed in during our vacation. Sarah was exceptionally helpful and responsive. She provided us with everything we needed. The welcome book has a wealth of information about the attractions, activities, restaurants, grocery stores... etc Thank you Sarah for being so kind and helpful. Hope to be back again soon.

قبل كل شي، وفي البداية، اود ان اتقدم بالشكر لمضيفتنا الرائعة سارا، حيث كان الاهتمام واضح من قبل الوصول الى السكن ومع بداية الحجز، وفعلا ان السيدة سارا قد اكملت رحلتنا الجميلة لهذا المنزل الرائع، تتوفر في البيت جميع المستلزمات بشكل كامل. من بهارات وادوات مطبخ وادوات تنظيف وغسل الملابس … الخ، اطلالة البيت جميلة على الخليج، والصالة واسعة جدا والغرف ممتازه لاقامة 10 اشخاص الطابق الارضي يوجد به حمام ومطبخ وصالة جاوس وصالة طعام ومنطقة جلوس على موقد وبلكونة، الطابق العلوي به الغرف وغرفة كوي وحمام.اقرب سوبرماركت يبعد دقائق قليلة .المنطقة جميلة جدا، وتبعد عن فلام وبيرجن ساعة فقط بالسيارة، ولاول مرة اسكن فيها، ولكن من الواضح مظلومة من ناحية الترويج، حيث تتميز بطبيعة واطلالات ومناظر تختلف عن باقي المدن النرويجية،

البيت دافئ ، باستثناء الحمام في الطابق العلوي حيث لا يوجد به تدفئة ارضية، لذلك قد تكون هناك في معاناة في الليالي الباردة.

Amazing place! So well thought through with amenities, thoughtful touches, and anything we could have wanted. Sarah was just lovely. It was such a great place. Relaxing, well designed, super comfortable, great location.

We had a fantastic stay! The apartment was amazing—very cozy, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views. It felt like a home away from home. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. They even provided a recommendation booklet for the region, which was wonderfully prepared and really enhanced our trip. Highly recommended!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn’t like

Hardangerfjord View is the perfect place away from home if you are looking for somewhere peaceful, quiet, and scenic. The house is beautiful, cosy, tastefully furnished, perfectly clean and fresh, and comes with all the amenities you could think of: fully equipped kitchen (including basic ingredients) where you can easily cook family-style dinners for 10 people, washing machine and dryer, underfloor heating in the bathroom, fireplace, outdoor grill and furniture, great lighting throughout the house, many seating areas, etc. Every little detail is so well thought out: from the comfortable bedding and high quality towels to the many books and the sound system around the house. You can really feel the love and attention in every corner. Sarah is a truly excellent host; I have never met a host as responsive, well-organised, and gracious. From the welcoming message to the swift communication throughout our stay as well as the clear signage throughout the house, you never feel lost but genuinely well looked after. You will also find ample and incredibly well structured information about the many things you can explore around Hardangerfjord. Thank you for your kindness and for sharing your wonderful home with us, Sarah. We cannot wait to come back for longer in the future.

There was nothing at all we disliked. Two things that might be worth knowing for potential guests, but that in no way impacted our stay: There are two double-bed rooms that are smaller and right under the roof, so you might want to be careful not to hit your head when getting out of bed. The driveway to the house is a little steep and narrow, and is made out gravel, but you can always just leave the car at the bottom of the driveway.

Could not rate this property higher! Sarah is the most hospitable host I’ve met, so helpful and friendly I felt right at home. The property is very comfortable and spacious for my group of 5. What a luxury to each have our own room. The property is not too far from supermarkets too, and well positioned to explore the hardangerfjord.

The House is super well situated, clean, well distributed in terms of rooms, beds are comfy, équipement is high class. We had perfect stay and surely will return.

That we need to leave at the end of our holidays. ;-))
