Close to all amenities, had everything we needed for our stay
Nothing!
i liked the easy access with the self check in and also the location and cleanliness of the building was great
nothing comes to mind was very happy with my stay
First of all, the host was responsive and friendly, and she let us drop our luggage before the check-in hour. Also, the check-in system was really easy to use, and the apartment is inside a beautiful, historic building. The neighborhood was pleasing and felt safe even late at night, and it communicated with bus lines (S2, 39 and 39a) to the city centre. It also had supermarkets, restaurants and pubs nearby. Concerning the apartment itself, it was apparently clean, it is quite small but enough for two people and a short stay. It has smart TV, coffee machine, cooking essentials (oil for cooking, salt, etc.).
Although the house seemed clean at first, when we had to move the bed a little bit we found plenty of dust, clutter in general, and even socks that other customers had left before our stay. There was not sweeping brush to clean during our stay. In the wardrobe there was a pair of biking shorts that weren't ours. The kitchen was extremely small, and there was no microwave. The dinnerware and glassware was minimum (3 glasses, 2 mugs, a few spoons and forks), and the same happened with the cooking utensils (only 1 pan, 1 pot, no microwave, etc.). Finally, what really annoyed us was the heat. We were worried about the apartment being cold, but it was the opposite. It was SO hot that sometimes we had to open the window at night to let some air get in the house. I think they should adjust the heating system because it was too much. P.S.: they should also change the pillows because they were really hard.
The apartment was cute. Beds comfortable. Once you worked out the heating, it was warm. Had a useable kitchen and shower. The shower had amazing hot water and good water pressure. Quite central to dublin centre Definitely would rent again
The apartment was cold, and there were no instructions around heating options. To watch anything on the tv you need a smart phone. There was tea and coffee but no sugar!
Perfect location for visiting the aviva stadium. Very easy self check-in and check-out. Good value for money. Good use of space.
Sofa was quite uncomfortable and decor felt like student accommodation. It would be lovely if there was milk provided.
Location and bed comfort.
We couldn't get hot water shower. :( The boiler wasn't working.
Location and the house are perfect.
The bathroom was not up to date. It is typically what you can expect from plumbing in the UK and Ireland. The water heater was on a timer, we only found that out when I had already taken a cold shower. The apartment is built into a room with too many stairs. It didn't smell very fresh in there either.
Very good location, accessible and comfortable apartment.
Location easy to find, comfortable and clean room, a bit small but manageable.
**There is clamping on the road outside** you need to display a ticket from 7am till 8pm.** They're very keen on clamping. We arrived late and did not see the sign. There should be a notice in the rooms about this. I paid 125 fine.
The location was near a shopping centre where we could get a good pizza take away
The steps. So many up to the front door and then inside as well. Also the double room was in the attic, upstairs from the bathroom, kitchen & lounge room. So our son took the room upstairs, I took the single bed and my husband was relegated to the couch in the lounge room. It might be suitable for young people, but not oldies with knee problems.
very little heating in rooms. 🤔
Location.
Shower and toilet - it’s far too small
The location was great
The radiator in the top bedroom wasn’t working which made the bedroom very cold. The lamp also wasn’t working in this room. There were blood stains on some of the bathroom tiles which really should have been spotted and removed during cleaning.
Easy check. Decent facilities
Light shining straight outside the window with no black out blind or curtains. The water or showers or something were extremely noisy. The walls are thin and could hear the people upstairs
Location was good and it had everything we needed
Delay in check in information. Very small shower.
Conveniently located for an event at the RDS but also very easy walking distance to the Aviva. Great value and good communication.
Neither the bed nor the sofa bed were big enough for two adults to share comfortably. Not really an issue for a one night stay thankfully!
The staff was responsive and super kind. The apartment is in the area of ambassies. 30 min walk to Trinity College or 20 min to Dart railway station. It has all the required fascilities
We were there eary November and there is only Ismall radiator regulated by central heating. For us it was very cold inside. We were happy to go outside and catch sum sun.
Nicely located, very clean and the hosts were very helpful when we needed
The place was very cold during the day, it only had heating at night but even then it was kept to a minimum
Property was spotless
Everything was immaculate!!
Great location.
Small bathroom but it was manageable.
All details were provided prior to arrival by the lovely host- zero issues with checkin.
We loved it all
Very Good place
The accommodation was close to the city center. We got to the accommodation very easily using the code. The apartment was very well equipped.
Cozy apartment, close to the city center
The bathroom had a terrible smell and the upstairs tenants were making a lot of noise
Amazing location and a quiet neighborhood at the same time. The apartment was small but very cozy. Everything was automated, very easy access. They have Nescafé capsules for free, that is just great. Amazing experience!
The pillows were flat, and the shower was a bit uncomfortable (the space is small and you kind of hit your back with the tap), but nothing too serious.
Comfortable apartment in a very convenient location . Street parking worked well too.
Coffee machine didn’t work and shower wasn’t draining well
It was what was advertised. Very clean. No hassle with accses and was definitely value for money.
The location is excellent. Great communication from the owner. Property has everything needed for a short stay and was nice and clean.
Slight damp smell from bathroom.
Everything was good.
I didn't find anything bad.Problem is tv ,didn't have any program ,only Netflix
It was cold extremely cold heaters were not working
Small bedroom and very small but clean living room.
The staff started talking loudly in Chinese from 9am and were knocking on the door by 10am. They did not speak English. Just said something like “room clean checkout”. Generally checkout is between 11am and 12 noon in any type of rental accommodation/hotel, so this was annoying and disturbed my sleep.
The property was in a great location. The check in instructions were easy to follow. There’s a small kitchen area which I didn’t require but would be great if required. The bed was comfortable. For the location, facilities and the price a good deal.
Everything just felt a little basic and shabby. The bathroom looked dated and the toilet seat was loose.
The location was perfect for my trip, the building was quiet, secure and easy to check-in/out. The owners were really responsive and communicated well and everything was clean, comfortable and contained everything I needed. it ticked all the boxes for my work trip.
The water in the shower could be warmer and one really small really teeny petty thing and but would have been great if a sponge were provided to do the washing up. I didn't realise there wasn't one when I shopped and as was working, I kept forgetting to pick some up at the shop so my bad really but it would have been a nice to have in the flat already.
Great location in ballsbridge. Walking distance to bars, shops eateries etc
There is no parking with the apartment. Paid street parking only at €4 per hour! 8am to 6pm on Wellington (road opposite) but it’s a pain because you have to move your car every 3 hours (maximum ticket length) and the cost adds up!
Location
Heating insufficient Coffee machine inoperable
Location was good, it was clean and they were kind enough to let us check out later for my daughter’s hospital appt. The apartment was neat, a lot fit in well to a very small space. The main bed in the loft was clean and comfortable (if a little squished in).
The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable. One third of it is a solid wooden block. They did offer me an air mattress which I refused in advance as I don’t usually sleep well on them, but I didn’t realise how poor the sofabed quality was until we arrived. In general the apartment was furnished very cheaply. Curtains just unhemmed material from ikea, furniture, fixtures and fittings the cheapest you can buy etc. but everything worked. The digital entry systems were a little hit and miss.
The most lovely hosts I’ve ever had, they were so sweet during my stay and when I was leaving. I would go back if only for their pleasantness! The room was the perfect temperature and everything was very clean and organised.
My only issue was the WiFi was a bit dodgy sometimes but they did let us know beforehand and it’s not really a big deal if you have mobile data:)
Great location and reasonable price. Decent bed and kitchen facilities.
Terrible water pressure on the top floor made for a very poor shower. Couch bed was pretty uncomfortable.
Fire alarm went off for about 3 minutes - but on the plus side we know it works!
Great location, clean and quiet.
Access to the bins. I ended up taking the refuse bag away with me. Not sure I was supposed to take out the trash or not. Very early check out.
Staff are prompt and quick. #5 is exceptional.
The water is noisy when its filling up. And there’s noises upstair of room 1.
Very quiet nice apartment well equipped good neighborhood parking in front
The room was on 4th floor no elevators and sofa bed not confortable
Very comfortable bed, nice small kitchen
A great place close to the city centre. There are supermarkets, bars, and restaurants nearby. Also the public transport is near.
The flip out bed wasn't that comfortable but the room itself was terrific. Location was great!
The shower was a bit tiny, even for average sized adults.
The location is great 😊 The apartment on the top floor is spacious and airy. Plenty of storage space and all the appliances needed.
The bathroom/shower room is too small with hardly any space to properly wash and dry. A little worn in places. The mattress was uncomfortable.
A 10 minute walk to catch Airport bus, city bus, shops and restaurants. Walk into city 35 minutes. We were able to prepare meals
5 flights of stairs with suitcases. The TV didn't work unless you had a Netflix code. The apartment was COLD. The double bed was squashed against the wall. Also bathroom had a bad smell and poor pressure in shower water.
It was in a great location. It was comfortable and clean and had anything we might have needed to cook in.
It was very warm sleeping in the loft. There wasn't air circulation up there. A small fan would have worked.
Our host was very reactive and nice. The position is strategic and the neighborhood very safe, a bit cozy for 3 people but overall served its purpose. The kitchen was well equipped.
The apartment has been recently renoveted but it was not quite clean. Lot of dust especially in the bathroom and an unpleasent stink of pipe coming out of it. The sofa bed was unusable (too small and wouldn't stand out properly) and one guest had to sleep on the floor to get a decent sleep quality.
Location And building
Very low water pressure - shower poor Kitchen area cramped
We had a 4 people studio, great value for money, for a Dublin stay. Nice area. The hosts offered an additional inflatable mattress, in case the sofa bed was too small for 2 people.
The sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
Easy check in Cleanliness Location Facilities Iron/Ironing Board
The plug socket in living room
Good location for walking into Dublin, easy to drive to. Lovely area in the embassy district, good places to eat nearby
Low water pressure on shower, by main road with minimal noise insulation. Parking on main road is free overnight from 19.00 to 7.00, but is then €4 per hour after that. So if you want a lie in, you have to pay for it
The apartment was very nice and clean. The location is really good, a super market, bar, car rental are within reach. The host is kind and helpful.
The two extra bed in the living room were uncomfortable, and there were only two mugs (I booked for 3 people).
Staff very helpful with letting us drop our bags before check-in. They brought us a heater when we were cold. The apartment was within walking distance of bus stop, tram stop, restaurants and spots of interest so no rental car is needed. Easy check-in and check out. Was very clean and new. Beds were fairly comfy. We had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
The water pipes in the building were somewhat noisy when water was being used. Would have been nice to be a little more central. There are some stairs to get into the building.
there was no hot water
Very clean
The bathroom
Good location, very clean and nice amenities.
N/A
It was a really great location (not in terms of being central, but in terms of being in a lovely neighbourhood), and our hosts were responsive. It was also easy to get in via the unique code we'd been given.
Although in general we were happy with things at the flat, I felt that the accommodation was a little too pricy for what we got. However, having said that, I have been told that - comparatively speaking - accommodation in Dublin is quite a lot more expensive than in other cities.
Keycode was sent the night before which made it even easier to check in. We found everything as we expected and were delighted with the space. Everything we needed was available and they even provided an extra airmattress which was perfect for us and very comfortable
Great location, 25 minute walk from centre of town but very nice neighborhood.
No wifi despite property advertised as having free wifi, but when I arrived there was a note saying the wifi was being improved but might be "a bit slow." The reality was there was absolutely no signal, the router didn't even show up anywhere in the studio flat--I tried everywhere, even the bathroom. Bathroom also needs some investment. It didn't smell, but was rough. Also water pouring out and down window--I think from whenever anyone in upstairs room showered.
Great location, property was clean and staff were very prompt in responding to any of my queries.
location
the smell in the bathroom was awful, wet, cold apartment, no blackout curtains, small
It was in a good location and perfect for a short stay, cosy and had everything you could need.
Some parts weren’t particularly clean, like a dirty knife in the drawer and dirty toothbrush + razor holders. Although these didn’t particularly affect our stay.
Good location, safe neighbourhood, comfortable bed, helpful host
Very small place, bathroom could be cleaned better. Weak water pressure in the shower, thin walls, so you can hear people chatting in the lobby. We found only a single cup for tea in the kitchen. It gets pretty cold in the appartment in the morning since the window lets in cold from outside.
Location is great. Close enough walking distance to a few bars and good restaurants of all types. Check in was easy. Code sent 24hrs before check-in. Room was all we needed and enough stock in the kitchen to make a breakfast and I dare say an evening meal. Good supplies provided. Bed was comfortable, and there is a smart tv in the room. That works well, but sometimes the wifi struggles to keep up with Netflix. The entrance and hall way are pretty cool. As a ground floor studio we did hear everyone come in and go up and down the stairs. Nothing major though.
The shower in bathroom is warm enough but has almost zero power. Its hard to get the suds out of the hair. A little noisy on the ground floor but it was a long weekend.
Amazing property! The entrance hall is spectacular. The rooms are well proportioned and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook evening meals and prepare breakfasts and lunches. Good quality smart tv and the bed was really comfy. Walking distance of some very good pubs (pubs with more of a calm eating vibe than the loud heavy drinking vibe) but really not far from the centre. Great hosts who sent all the required information in plenty of time for arrival. For the price we paid, this was the perfect little hideaway for our weekend in Dublin!
