Reviewed Jun 1, 2026There was nothing to like ,what is on booking .com about this place is not what is there on ground . The amount I paid is not worth the place , we never stayed there 10 days we only only spent one night ,the place is far away from town it's about 30km away from town and there are no shops near by ,to get an Uber it takes 30 minutes . The place is at the far end of Capetown and yet on booking.com it shows as if it's in green point near the stadium but it's a lie ,the place was dirty it has no standards and the place was infected with cockroaches and the toilet was smelling so bad ,the drainage system was bad . The owner had brought insect killer for me to kill the insects I didn't fly all the way to come start killing insects ,I can also attach the conversations I had with owner of the apartment,I had to book another place and I have all the receipts of the place ,I will really appreciate if booking .com can look into this matter and refund my money because I expect that when you pay for services they must be given according to what's on the website.this is not my first time using booking .com but that place was a horror it's not fit for anyone to book .I expect to hear from you booking .com .your help will be really appreciated as we continue doing business

Reviewed Mar 24, 2025I appreciated the fact that mister Z accommodated us to check in earlier as all our belongings was in the car for the whole day and we were scared that it could get stolen. There was also an issue with water leaking out of the shower on the floor and Ze sorted it out that same evening.
The bathroom was a bit small for a family of four but we managed.

Reviewed Feb 26, 2025Fantastic safe location with good views of the mountain and sea. Apartment was very clean, and Ze, the host, was really friendly & helpful both in person and on whatsapp.
The apartment could've been a little cosier feeling. The simple addition of a couple of lamps and a rug in the lounge area would've made a huge difference. The bedrooms need side lamps for reading. In all rooms the overhead lighting alone is too bright and glaring and some softer lighting is needed. Other than that we couldn't fault the apartment at all and would definitely recommend.

The place is meant for 2 adults and 2 kids, not necessarily 4 adults the second bedroom is small and the shower, is just OK, I think the place is a bit over priced for what it offers, the balcony has only 2 chairs and small table.

That I don't own it! lol! Other than that, there is nothing not to like about it. The owner is a very cool guy helpful with any questions immediate response for any questions about activities restaurants you name it he will help.

Reviewed Nov 7, 2023The host was very friendly. There is safe parking. The beds and linen were comfortable. Great WiFi. The beach is across the road. Big Bay is a beautiful area.
The cleaning policy was not very clear. You will find a clean apartment, but it's up to you to take care of the cleaning until you leave. Make sure you understand that there is no cleaning service for the duration of your stay. Wished there was a heater for the cold nights. Also a light for when there is loadshedding (we only experienced one night of loadshedding, therefore it wasn't so terrible)
