Location is not good. You need to walk a lot to reach the hotel. It's very difficult if you have luggage

There were no advertisements or pamphlets showing the distance left for the hostel, nor were there any signs for Zu-Zu Hostel. However, I didn’t face any difficulties finding the place.

Everything from the vibe created by the staff to the location, this place exceeded my expectations. The staff as super friendly and the facilities as expected. I travelled with my friends and family and would highly recommend this for friends looking to enjoy their stay in Shimla.

The walk to the hostel is a bit steep, so be prepared if you're carrying luggage. Other than that, everything was perfect. Definitely recommend!

Be aware that it is a steep 20min walk away from the city centre. Also the female dormitory has no shower, so so consider booking the mix dorm or privates!

This hostel is amazing! Truly best in class. Fantastic sunset view cozy ,great social vibes amazing staff and awesome food very reasonable prices from their cloud kitchen. Absolutely loved it ! Will definitely return and tell all my friends about Zu-zu.

First I wasn't happy with the property location because I had to walk bit to get there but once I get there the property was nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Anjali was super chill and cool person with everyone. I beat her in ♟️chess😂😂

Lovely simple chill hostel with great people running the place. Beautiful views from balconies, I would just maybe add some comfier shaded hang out space outside besides the plastic table set. Hammocks would be great under the tree! Whole place got cleaned every couple of days. Has a simple kitchen to use, they even said I could cook on the proper stove in their kitchen if I needed. I got stuck in Shimla with food poisoning for several days and they truly tried their best to take care of me, from making me simple meals to even getting me water and medicine as I had no energy to walk to town (it is very uphill and about 25ish mins to main tourist area).

Should have been some separate space for official work. Some sports like badminton or table tennis would be appreciable.

Best place to stay in shimla. Nice view and good staff. You can order food delivery from their menu also. Good vegetarian options. Be prepared for a steep climb on your way back from the hostel.😉

The gyser was good. The ambience was not bad. Basic arrangement was good.

The location was absolutely horrible in terms of accessibility. The door locks in the room were not properly maintained as well as functional. The windowpane in the bathroom was also broken. The staffs were pretty reluctant to give an extra towel when asked for although double bedrooms were booked. The arrangement of the food was also not up to the mark. There were no room heaters even in 2°C cold. The wilt and the towels were also not cleaned up to expections.

They make you feel like home and the view from balcony is excellent. Other dorm mates were nice too.

The location is bit far from mall road

My experience here was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, great view on the city and a quiet area tucked away from the road. Clean facilities, a cozy common area and even a microwave and kettle to heat up a snack.

Zu zu has become a great place in Shimla. I had a wonderful time there. The host was very friendly and the place was so clean. I met a lot of solo travelers from there. It's the best place in Shimla for solo travelers.

Food options are not readily available for travellers even basic foods like tea, coffee, breakfast,etc. as well as food menu are too costly as per hostel.

The view from the hostel was breathtaking, truly worth every moment. Waking up to the stunning landscape was a highlight of my trip. Cleanliness was top-notch, which added to the overall comfort of my stay. I felt at home the entire time. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Shimla! You won’t be disappointed! Access road is little troublesome This isn't that important, but... You won't get awesome food of your heart's choice, and whatever you get will take some time to arrive, be ready to clean the dish you consume your meal in ( I don't mind but some might )

It would have been good if it was mentioned to us that they offer lunch/dinner services. But overall, everything was great.
