Reviewed Aug 11, 2026A vista maravilhosa para o Pico, o ambiente pequeno e acolhedor e a simpatia e disponibilidade do staff.
Tendo em conta o preço, esperava uma oferta de serviços e comodidades mais completa. O pequeno-almoço é bastante simples e não existem refeições ligeiras para quem está na piscina. Relativamente ao jantar, o site transmite a ideia de existir essa possibilidade, mas durante a estadia percebi que é apenas disponibilizado para grupos. Fiquei também com a expectativa de ter reservado o Quarto do Fogo, de acordo com a descrição apresentada no momento da reserva, mas foi-me atribuído outro quarto, o que não correspondeu ao que tinha percebido ter reservado. A apresentação de alguns serviços no site criou igualmente expectativas que não corresponderam totalmente à experiência.

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, besonders Marta, das mit Empfehlungen für Restaurants, Taxis etc, weitergeholfen und immer erreichbar war. Schöner Pool (beheizt) mit Blick auf den Pico. Schöne Sauna zur flexiblen Nutzung. Uns (Pärchen) hat es sehr gut gefallen.

J’avais crû réserver une villa mais ce n’était qu’une chambre dans une maison d’hôtes. Demander celle avec vue sur l’océan. Personnel très sympathique mais globalement manque de professionnalisme.

Reviewed Jun 3, 2026La chambre était bien décorée et spacieuse. Sauna et piscine appréciable. La situation est très isolée, il y a uniquement une jeune fille qui vient faire le check-in check out et petit déjeuner.
Le prix est exorbitant par rapport à l’offre au service. De plus, le temps était mauvais pendant notre séjour, ce qui arrive très souvent aux Açores, et rend l’établissement lugubre.

Reviewed May 7, 2026Hôtel magnifique très bien entretenu. Les chambres sont très belles et très confortables. Le personnel est absolument adorable et toujours prêt à aider. La vue de la piscine donnant tout droit sur le mont Pico est juste époustouflante.

Reviewed Oct 1, 2025We had such a wonderful stay at Adega do Fogo. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during our visit. Elizabeth always greeted us with a smile and eager to help with anything we needed. Elizabeth and Thelma made the experience feel personal and genuine, which really stood out. The breakfast was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and with a great variety to choose from. The facilities and grounds were beautiful, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. Everything felt clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great stay and would be happy to return again.

Reviewed Sep 25, 2025Elizabete and Thelma are what make this property shine! Their breakfasts were some of the best we’ve had while traveling! Proactive correspondence before arrival, personal recommendations, property tours, and after hours responses were thoughtful and made our stay remarkable. The ability to have a little extra time on the property at the end of our stay was so appreciated!! We gladly spent a day poolside doing nothing and then explored the coastline on foot using the walking trails just across from the property. Not to be missed just down the street: Joe’s Bar! Right on the beach, May 1-Oct. 30. Other perks: - Communal fridge access for guests - Honor bar for soda/alcohol - House-made liquors and wine - Access to full kitchen + cooking supplies - Towel warmer in bathroom - Secluded location along the coast - Separate WC and shower near pool - Indoor/Outdoor patio
Price per night was significantly higher than any other accommodation we considered on the island; taking advantage of the early/late check-in/out makes it more palatable. Without Elizabete, the value for cost remains to be seen
