Le Soleil de Boracay Hotel

I requested a toom upgrade prior to my stay and it was confirmed. However upon arrival i was informed that the room requested are all fully occupied. I was given a free upgrade.

I love how convenient the location is. It also felt like I could escape the busy atmosphere of Station 2 whenever I returned to my room.

I wish there were rugs or mats in the room, especially since guests can track in sand from the beach or water from the pool. Having mats would help prevent slips and other accidents.

The room for family size is in the 3rd floor, i was traveling with a senior.

Front of house staff were great but the restaurant staff not so good. Facilities looking a bit tired and some very unpleasant odors in the corridors

Good location and easy access to the beach

Car can't get inside or infront of the hotel, it is a walking distance about 4 minutes. No breakfast buffet the whole entire of our stayed.

Very outdated , and maintenance was poor pool toilets were disgusting and no toilet seat. Pool bar was advertised, but we had to go to the main bar to order drinks which they did deliver

The breakfast buffet was delicious. They offer variety of food. The staff were very accommodating.

The shower in our bathroom was difficult to adjust from hot to cold.

The location is quite nice, it’s a beach front location, close to the mall and main ports where you depart for guided tours. Breakfast is relatively ok, although more options would be nice mainly on the fruit side, however I saw this was a problem mainly everywhere even with local vendors. Rooms are big, the air conditioning is new and works great (this is a problem in other locations in Manila). Staff super great, they helped us with an airport transfer (van+boat+van - both ways, for an extra cost, but it’s worth it rather than doing it by yourself since it’s much fastar and you get baggace assistance and pick up/drop off). Even received a custom bracelet with our names graved at check out. Laundry can be done at request, for house keeping is best to ask at the front desk and handover the key before you leave for the day, they will take care of everything, else you might end up with nothing, including towel change, but if you read the house rools it’s mentioned over there !

I would say the water pressure, it is quite low… and the furniture is a bit old, probably doing a full make up of the place would cost more, thinking this involves changing the plumbing also, and since rain and storms are big and tend to destroy a lot of buildings here (saw that with near by properties), they might think twice before doing so - this is a common problem here, not specifically with this location.

Rooms were a bit dated and needed some minor repairs. Pool, whilst clean, was heavily chlorinated. Also no refreshments available poolside.

It’s accessible

Their bed squeeks everytime you move. Very annoying when you’re a light sleeper. I think the resort needs a makeover. The tiles of the bathroom is so moldy, if you use the flush no water will come out from the shower. View going to our room is so dirty, we can see the clothes from the neighbor hanging. I called front office 2:00pm for a massage reservation by 5:00pm. When it was 5:10 I tried to call front office to follow up but that’s the only time they told me no therapist available. If they have informed me earlier then I could look for another one. Tone of the front office is so sarcastic in the apologies.

The included breakfast was very nice and the pool was very clean.

Bed mattress needs to be changed. Very old, hard, and creeks. Bathroom tap had a small stream of water. Everything in room needs updating. Really old and upper shelves very dirty. no fan in room, but a stand up unit was provided upon request. Deck railing provides no privacy...

The water runs slow in the shower. The no veranda view from our room, it was covered by a wall.

I paid for additional persons but the room is still the same, I thought it will have additional beds as well or change it to bigger room but they didn't. Didn't provide as well extra towels for my additional guests, the staff said he will bring but he didn't.

I loved their surprise when they learnt it's my brithday. I am so happy about it. I might have not reacted good enough because of lack of sleep but I loved it so much. On the other hand; room, view, pool, breakfast... All of them were exceptional. And of course, staff was so helpful and good-humoured. Thanks for everything!

I did not like the rooms. I thought for the over 13K for a pool view side was overpriced. The Booking.com advertised the SeaView for over 13K, but when I got the hotel the front desk gave me a room with a pool view side. This third party website gave me a dismay with their misinformation; as soon as I paid for the SeaView, the Booking.com gave me a different room.

Close to everything and really good breakfast buffet. The staff was great.

The bed was uncomfortable, it felt like sleeping on a box spring. The washroom was okay. The water pressure was very weak. And the room had a smell of mold. Perhaps the blanket wasn't dried properly. The staff changed it right away after letting them know so it was fine.

It was difficult to take a shower in the room because the water flowed very weakly from the shower, the towels were very poor.

Centrally located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The breakfast menu was impressive, with a great selection of dishes. However, our room was a bit dark, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Some facilities are dated. TVs arent smart tv and it only has cable. Bathroom sink is outside the bathroom. No security deposit box. No phone to call concierge

Great location - near Station 1 where most of the activities' meet up are. Quiet ambiance - should one wants to rest after the day's activities, your room can be a sanctuary to rest. Breakfast - great selections of buffet breakfast Beach towel - we were surprised this was available. At least, less heavy wet towel to bring.

The beach front location with just 5 minutes walking-distance away from DMall can't be beat! We arrived a day after a typhoon when the waves were still rough and ended up in the hotel's pool, which did not smell like chlorine. Other pros include great breakfast, in-room hotel massages, beach/pool towels, and free water dispensers.

The beds could be better. They were too hard, but not a deal breakers.

The location of the hotel was very good beachfront at station 2 which is within walking distance to station 1 and other resto in station 3. The staff were courteous, their kitchen chef provided good tasting food at a reasonable price.

They should improve their facilities considering the hotel is more than 20 years old; like update the tiles in the pool and repair those falling off, improve the stairs to make it safe since some already show wear and tear and it seems were eaten by termites, update their gym facilities too.

Close to where the hustle and bustle activities are on the island. Wonderful staff and safe location. Breakfast, was wonderful. Though there are few choices for us that don't eat pork and shellfish, with abundant fruits available, it is still filling.

There's a musty or earthy smell that greets us each time we come in the room. Rooms need to be updated. The toilet and shower room are to be updated and cleaned better. Room furniture needs to be updated as well. Would like to suggest using furniture that can withstand longer in a humid environment.

Staff were wonderful and attentive. Made to feel special as they always knew what room you were in when returning to get keycard from reception. Any issues with room were rectified immediately eg TV not working, came back from outing and a new TV in room, shower was cold … working perfectly the next day .

It’s an older property and it is a bit tired, however you can see it is continually being maintained . Breakfast was a bit limited, but what was available was tasty.

Location was excellent. It is beachfront, so very convenient access to the beach. And a few steps to D' Mall.

Great location very close to Dmall. Very attentive friendly staff. 2nd stay at this boutique hotel just as enjoyable as the 1st visit. Recommend.

Feedback from our 1st visit still remains a challenge for this hotel. 1. Staying in this hotel be prepared for the pool music far too loud that penetrates the rooms 2. Hotel needs to keep on top of maintenance. Front of shop is perfect but further inside standards drop. This particularly evident in the rooms… but once you’ve overcome the issues then your stay is lovely 3. This stay the breakfast options were not as good or as tasty as our visit in January. Still ok but don’t let the standards dip further please
