The property is absolutely beautiful with tile mosaics and stained glass throughout. The Owner, Youcef, and his staff were incredibly personable and helpful in all manners of the trip with recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants, pharmacies, etc.. The breakfast was also delicious with traditional dishes on rotation throughout the week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was simply beautiful. The traditional Moroccan architecture, peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and warm hospitality made our stay truly special. The attention to detail was remarkable.

Honestly, everything was wonderful. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

This Riad is absolutely breathtaking! Filled with Moroccan art and exquisite details. Yousef and Hassan are great hosts and make you feel so welcomed. We were treated like family and when my daughter and her friend visited us at the Riad they served us tea, juice and sweets without asking. I also loved that it was so close to the Medina wall and it was so easy for the taxi driver to find. You will love staying here and it is worth the extra money.

La posizione di questo Riad situato ai bordi della medina (comoda per il parcheggio dell’auto) e vicino ai punti di maggior interesse di Rabat. La bellezza del palazzo, antico di quasi 200 anni, restaurato nei minimi particolari. La ricchezza dei dettagli d’arredamento in autentico stile marocchino, dai mosaici agli intarsi di legno. La nostra sistemazione…abbiamo soggiornato due notti nella “royal suite” con salotto al piano terra e camera nel soppalco a cui si accede tramite una scala di legno…spettacolare!!! Ma quello che abbiamo apprezzato di più è l'accoglienza e la gentilezza del proprietario Youssef che ci ha coccolato e accolto nella sua casa con autentica passione. È stato un vero piacere soggiornare qui.

Ein sehr schön hergerichtetes Riad mit einem Zimmer auf dem neuesten Stand, bequemes Bett, angenehmes Bad mit großer Dusche, mit großzügiger Dachterrasse auf zwei Ebenen. Wunderbares Frühstück, sowohl herzhafte als auch süße, teils marokkanische teils europäisch-kontinentale Speisen. Youssef war immer ansprechbar, sehr freundlich und bewandert, hatte Tipps und Zeit für Gespräche, für meinen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt das optimale Zimmer ausgesucht; Hassan und das Team mit Herzlichkeit für die Gäste! Großartig!

Le logement est exceptionnel. Magnifique, calme , d une propreté irréprochable, il y a une sérénité dans cette maison. Tout est pensé pour que nous passions à moment inoubliable. Je ne detaillerais pas tous les «  plus » pour laisser quelques surprises. Youcef est un hôte adorable, il aime nous recevoir dans sa maison de famille et nous donner des conseils. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay at Dar Miraj was. The riad was absolutely beautiful. Our room was lovely. The breakfasts were bounteous and beautifully laid out. Besides all the fresh fruit, vegetables, and bread, there was a also a very yummy shakshuka-like dish cooked in a tagine. I love the way they display the 3 kinds of olives in teeny tagines. (Can’t help but love a country that serves olives at breakfast!) But it was Youssef (host and owner) who was the gem of the riad. His enthusiasm for the riad and its history as he showed us around was truly remarkable. He helped us plan our time, suggested sightseeing routes, recommended restaurants, and rescued us when we ran out of dirhams and the ATMs had run out too! (be aware that the ATMs can run out of money on the weekends!) and exchanged some of our euros. All in all a lovely stay with a wonderful host.

Per nostro sbaglio avevamo prenotato una matrimoniale per una sola persona (siamo in due) e il proprietario ci ha subito trovato una soluzione alternativa (senza sovrapprezzo) con una camera ancora piú grande e bella! Colazione oltre ogni aspettativa, buonissima, varia e curata in ogni dettaglio! Speriamo di ritornare a Rabat prima o poi e soggiornare al Riad Dar Al Miraaj!

Nous revenons de Rabat avec de très beaux souvenirs. Ce séjour en couple a été marqué par un accueil remarquable, empreint de gentillesse, de discrétion et d’un réel sens du service. Le personnel a su créer une atmosphère à la fois chaleureuse et apaisante, propice à l’échange et à la détente. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la richesse des discussions, authentiques et inspirantes, qui ont ponctué notre séjour. La découverte du hammam marocain, accompagnés par une experte passionnée, a été un moment fort : une véritable immersion dans une tradition ancestrale, à la fois ressourçante et dépaysante. Rabat nous laisse l’image d’une ville élégante, accueillante et profondément humaine, que nous garderons longtemps en mémoire.

Une lieu superbe, restauré avec un goût sûr, qui a su trouver une harmonie entre authenticité et confort. Très bien situé, non loin de la mer et du jardin des Oudayas, parfaitement au calme, c'est un havre de détente et de rêverie grâce à l'élégance toute marocaine de l'accueil, et à la grande gentillesse du personnel. Un grand merci à Youcef (M. Azrgui) et à son équipe si cordiale et attentionnée.

It’s an absolutely lovely Riad. Wonderfully restored in the last few years by its owner Youcef. He is the hands-on manager, outstanding, welcoming and helpful to his guests. Great staff, caring and helpful. The rooms are lovely. Spotless. Breakfasts - the best we had of 3 Riads we stayed in during our visit to Morocco. The roof top terrace is comfortable, private and has great views.

Dar al Miraaj is truly a home away from home! From the smooth and efficient check-in by the owner, to a welcome glass of tea on the roof, to arranging an early taxi pick up for the following morning to the airport, it was a truly wonderful stay.

لا ليس فندق او دار عادية انما هو وجهة سياحية مميزة في الرباط وجوهرة فخمة من الرقي والجمال الرياض فوق الوصف والخيال مجدد بالكامل و محافظ على الاصالة والعراقة المعهودة عن الدور في المغرب السكن هنا متعة بحد ذاتها صاحب المكان السيد المحترم يوسف يقف بنفسه ومهتم بكل زاوية بالرياض وفي أدق التفاصيل دار الميراج هو سكني الدائم عندما اعود للرباط و بالتاكيد سوف اعاود الزيارة ورغم ما قلت وما كتبت لن أوفي حقهم والموقع رائع على اطراف المدينة القديمة وتتوفر مواقف سيارات قريبة ملاحظة بعض الغرف فيها مكيف والبعض لا يوجد

Très bel endroit, situé dans la médina. Personnel très gentil et efficace. Le propriétaire est chaleureux, serviable, cultivé en plus. Petit déjeuner copieux et aux saveurs locales, qu’on me préparait avec plaisir malgré le Ramadan, observé par le personnel. Chambre de bon goût et bien équipé. Sur la terrasse, une corde à linge pour étendre la lessive.

Pas grand chose. J’aurais apprécié un petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre. Et l'eau de la douche aurait pu être plus chaude. Le matelas était un tantinet trop dur au milieu.

La struttura è bellissima, con un grande patio centrale e una bella terrazza per prendere il sole. L'arredo è ricercato e curato. Le stanze sono comode e ben tenute La colazione è semplicemente spettacolare!!! La posizione, vicino all'uscita dalla Medina, verso il mare è stata per noi comoda.

Semplicemente tutto. L’host è incredibilmente cortese e disponibile, le camere elegantemente rifinite e munite di ogni confort. Ho soggiornato nella suite, un vero gioiello. Ottima la colazione e gradevole la terrazza.

Stunningly beautiful and very comfortable. Close to the médina, kasbah, and Andalusian gardens there. The breakfast was delicious with delicious fresh squeezed orange juice, homemade Moroccan crepes, fresh fruit and more.

Impeccable property, dutifully maintained by second generation owners. Yousef and his wife attend every detail of your stay to be sure your stay in Rabat is the best! Not only were the accommodations top notch, the restaurant recommendations were the perfect accompaniment to our stay. Breakfast was a complete assortment of foods for us to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Absolutely everything. An absolutely beautiful Riad, ideally located within the Medina but near a gate and easily accessible by car/taxi. Bed comfortable, bathroom spacious with lovely toiletries. Breakfast every morning superb and plentiful with so many options. Staff extremely attentive and kind. Youssef, our host, more than helpful with suggestions and advice on dining, touring and shopping. He also has a wonderful selection of music. Upon our departure to take the train to Marrakech they had a bag with water, fruit and treats for our 4 hour journey. We truly felt like family and hope to be able to return some day!

This beautiful riad was extensively renovated by the owner while still preserving its courtyard's two hundred year old tile floor and honoring its historic past. It is the most beautiful riad we stayed at during our trip to Morocco. It is incredibly comfortable by modern standards but true to its historic past. It is located on a quiet derb just off a major street. Hence, its location easy to find yet quiet. The staff is top notch and functions almost as a family in their commitment to work together to ensure their guests a most comfortable stay. It is clear that the owner, a kind and welcoming man sets the tone. "This is your home while you are in Rabat" were not only words he spoke, but an ethos the entire riad team lived up to. The linens and pillows are high quality and the breakfast offerings were ample and delicious, a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. It is a beautiful property and I would be thrilled to stay again should I visit Rabat a second time. We could not have felt more welcomed.

Everything offered was beyond great. It was a superlative experience and a wonderful way to end our trip.

The host Yousef was wonderful. the Riad was beautiful and exceptionally clean. Yousef would give us suggestions where to go and where to eat that were just what we were looking for. The Kasbah and the Medina are just down the street. His suggestion to visit Chellah Castle made for a wonderful afternoon. The breakfast prepared each morning was plentiful and delicious. We sat with other guests and exchanged stories from around the world. I highly recommend Dar al Miraaj when in Rabat.

Un accueil remarquable de Youcef, qui a pris le temps de nous accueillir personnellement pour nous faire la visite du Riad. Il a pris le temps aussi de répondre à notre besoin et à nos diverses contraintes, nous qui étions avec un petit de 2 ans et demi. Le petit déjeuner était exceptionnel, et là encore Youcef a eu une attention particulière pour notre fils ! Enfin, si le temps est mitigé ? Pas de problèmes, nos valises peuvent être gardée toute la journée et on a même le droit à un parapluie au cas ou ! Je recommande à 100% !

Séjour avec mon mari dans ce Riad, recommandé par notre ami Marocain. Nous sommes très satisfait, Youssef le propriétaire a été un hôte d’exception. Le petit déjeuné excellent. Les employés sont tous très gentil et courtois. Nous avons fait le Hammam avec Fati, nous la recommandons lors de votre séjour, une expérience typique. Ambiance très convivial. Dar Al Miraaj c’est une oasis d’hospitalité et gentillesse dans un monde hôtelier stressant, nous avons été accueilli comme rarement et pris en charge du début à la fin, le personnel est professionnel et d’une bienveillance rare, un charme fou, une architecture incroyable, que du bon goût, le Ryad authentique avec tous les équipements modernes, nous avons adoré ce Ryad et aucun de ceux essayés avant n’égale celui de Al Miraaj

This was an excellent Riad. It was in a great location. Not far off the main road when you come into the Medina. That is a huge bonus when staying in the Medina. It was a gorgeous location. The owner and staff were exceptional. My mother had a medical situation during our stay and the staff were extremely helpful in providing first aid. They also continued to check in on her throughout our stay. The owner was welcoming, kind and went out of his way to chat with each guest. The breakfast that was included was good. We also used the spa at the hotel and the therapist was very kind.

I prefer a softer bed and the bed in my room was a bit hard. However, that is personal preference and in no way diminished the quality of the room. I would highly recommend anyone stay in this accommodation.

The location in the Medina was close to so many things. Our royal suite was huge, beautifully decorated and clean. The bathroom is modern with a very nice shower. Bedroom has a heating unit which we used one cold night. The breakfast was an amazing buffet. Youssef and his staff were friendly and helpful. Some rooms are on the first (upper) floor but suites are on the ground floor. No elevator. Need to climb stairs for breakfast. We will be back next time we come to Fez.

A riad a medina szélén található,aki személyautóval érkezik egy kicsit nehézkes a parkolás. Mi a riadtól 10 perces sétára található temetőnél tudtunk parkolni,de ez nem volt probléma mert a temető is megér egy kirándulást.

Excellent location in Rabat. The owner, Youssef, greeted us in the parking out and helped us get to the property - just a few steps away. We enjoyed our conversations with him - learning about the property, his family, Moroccan traditions, admired the handmade cape that his grandfather used, etc. Yes the property is gorgeous, the breakfast spread - amazing, but the icing on the cake is the personalized service and conversations with the owner that enhanced our experience here.

Il Riad è veramente curato nei minimi particolari pulito e con un’ ottima posizione comoda anche per chi arriva in macchina come noi. Il proprietario è attento a tutto e cerca di rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile. La colazione ottima.

On 30 Sept I received a Whatsapp from this Riad that they were cancelling my reservation as they had no hot water. I am surprised that you appear to have no knowledge of this???

Nous avons vécu un séjour absolument merveilleux au Riad Dar Al Miraaj. L'accueil de Youssef et de toute son équipe a été exceptionnel : chaleureux, attentionné, toujours prêt à aider. On se sent immédiatement comme en famille. Le riad est superbe, décoré avec beaucoup de goût, d'une propreté irréprochable et idéalement situé dans la médina, à quelques minutes de la Kasbah des Oudayas. Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassé et avons eu la dit royauté : salon indépendant, immense salle de bain et chambre spacieuse et très confortable. Les petits-déjeuners sont délicieux et généreux, et la terrasse offre une vue magnifique sur le splendide patio vu d’en haut et sur l’horizon. L'expérience massage à l’huile d’argan très professionnel et authentique réalisé par Fatiha a été un vrai moment de détente et de bonheur. Youssef a anticipé tous nos besoins, partagé d'excellentes recommandations pour découvrir Rabat et Tanger. Grâce à lui et à sa petite équipe formidable , notre séjour a été inoubliable. Un riad authentique, raffiné et profondément humain : un véritable coup de cœur. Nous recommandons à 100 % et reviendrons sans hésiter !

Youssef is an amazing host! The location is top notch for a quick walk go the main places, and the riad itself is beautifully built and comfortable. There is coffee, easy in/out access, safety and convenience, and the breakfast is just right. We enjoyed the terrace as well. The entire team at this riad was fantastic for our stay over five nights.

Our first time in Rabat, but second road trip around Morocco. This riad Dar Al Miraaj is far the best riad we stayed. Nice, quiet, clean. Jousuf, the owner, as well as the staff are extremly helpful and friendly. From the first moment we felt very welcomed and treated like we were family. Riad is situated near one of the entrances to medina. (Rabat medina is really much more quiet, compare to Marrakech or other cities we've been.) Walking distance from riad: casbah with garden and terrase with beautiful view, beach, medina market, good restaurants. Parking available on the street and if you lucky as we were, you'll be parking 50m from riad. Cleanlines, breakfast, location, rooms etc...10 from 10. Our stay was perfect, thanks to Jouduf and staff. We surely come back soon.

The owner Yousef could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The Riad is wonderful and enchanting in a very convenient location just inside the Medina. Yousef set us up with a guide, Asmaa, who was terrific, and with a wonderful masseuse in its Hamman. It could not have been better.
