Nice, clean, new, up to date hotel in a good location. You won't regret booking it.

Its more hands off than other hotels which is honestly part of its charm - e.g. changing towels, bin everyday but you leave this outside your room, no daily room clean which wasnt an issue (i think they clean if you stay more than 4 nights)

Spacious room with fabulous view

Seogwipo and the Red Hat Snail hotel; you have a piece of our hearts. We adored this hotel. The Red Hat Snail provided a perfectly peaceful stay. We couldn't believe our luck that we had booked the Red Hat Snail - it was beautifully appointed in an understated way that felt homely and exquisite at the same time; it had a really lovely boutique feel. We've included photos but don't think they do it justice. It provided us with the pause we needed after a fairly hectic tour around SK at this point. The room was beautifully clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We found the beds very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely with a superb shower. We had a stunning sea view and of the local neighbourhood from our balcony. What we also liked were that there were lounge areas available for use to relax/eat in. Great spaces which were really considered to support a relaxing stay. There was also a guest laundry if needed. We loved the locality which was close to beautiful independent restaurants and cafes. It was also within walking distance to the Maille Olle Market/harbour/waterfalls etc. Note, it is hilly here, however, taxis are easy to come by and cheap if required. The neighbourhood was also special being close to the Lee Jung Seop street which we didn't realise until we arrived. There were lovely little independent stores nearby with the loveliest of vendors. This really is a special area and we would come back in a heartbeat. We recommend visiting the restaurant Subseom_jeju (Instagram account) - it is around the corner with a sign outside saying Korean Bistro. The food is 'stunning!' with sensational flavours and is some of the best food I have had in a very long time. We had a fabulous breakfast both days at 'Lavarr'. A beautiful cafe with a wonderful family history just a 5 minute walk away. Red Hat Snail offered a perfect location and a very comfortable stay.

Everything, but one suggestion: Put a thermo in the room so that customers can store hot water for consumption or making tea.

I loved this hotel so much! It's cute, clean, modern and overall super cosy. I had a great view gein my balcony, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and for AU$5 I could wash and dry a load of clothes. I wished I could have stayed longer.

The room is very new and big. You can smell the pine wood when you enter level 1. Towel is like fresh from "oven" brand new. Location is near Maelli Olle Market. There are dining room,, laundry room, reading room at level 2. Reception is at level 2. Security is good as guest need to key password to enter the building. Will definitely stay here if back to Jeju.

The rooms were very clean and well thought-out. Some reviews talk about small towels but now the hotel provides bigger bath towels. Loved the tea & water & amenities in the lounge and the inviting vibes. Very quiet, great location, wonderful views from the balcony.

It would've been much more comfortable to have a bigger bed (we had a double) but that seems to be the norm in Korea. Otherwise a perfect stay!

Mnóstwo uroczych ślimaków. Lokalizacja obok dużego targu Olle Market. Dużo źródeł światła w pokoju. Cały obiekt czysty i nowoczesny. Wspólne części z mikrofalą, ekspresem do kawy i miejscami do wygodnego spożycia posiłku. Pralnia. Wśród udogodnień dla gości są nawet przedłużacze, ładowarki i przejściówki.

Lodówka wyłącza się, kiedy wychodzisz z pokoju, więc nie można tam zostawić niczego, co się zepsuje. Naprzeciwko jest duży budynek, w którym przez cały nasz pobyt odbywały się wieczorne imprezy na tarasie. Sklep na ulicy obok puszcza głośno muzykę.

Excellent hotel, perhaps the best one I have stayed in during my trip to South Korea. Super friendly and helpful staff, intelligent design of rooms and the entire building in general, free parking lots in the hotel, request to receive a room with a nice view was granted and I was given a room with superb view over the sea, absolutely loved the interior of the room.

If there is at all anything, I would say that the noises that our fridge made were quite loud. Not sure if there is a technical issue with it or if that is normal.

Sehr gut gelegen, gleich am "Künstler-Weg". Wir wohnten im 8. Stock und hatten eine schöne Aussicht über die Stadt auf's Meer, von dem kleinen Balkon aus. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ohne unnötigen Firlefanz eingerichtet.

New, clean and quiet. The laundry facilities were modern and efficient and as it was chargeable, there was no long queue. Once you are checked in, you are pretty much on your own, which is fine for us.

There are quite a number of rules imposed but we were ok with them.

La camera era molto spaziosa e aveva una bella vista sul mare e sull'isolotto di fronte. Nell'hotel ci sono molte stanze "lounge" comuni dove fare colazione o rilassarsi durante il resto della giornata. Ci sono una lavatrice e un'asciugatrice e il ragazzo della reception mi ha aiutato a capire le istruzioni in coreano.

La colazione è un po' cara e monotona (anche se hanno accettato le nostre richieste di piccole modifiche). La predilezione per la privacy dà alla struttura uno stile un po' freddo.

Location and view

This is not a real hotel experience. It feels like a hostel marketed as a hotel: mostly self-service, very limited services, and nothing close to a full-featured stay. Given the price I paid, higher than nearby 4-star hotels, I expected something entirely different. Worst part: I made an extra-night booking and requested a refund the day of check-in. The owner refused to refund the additional night, despite the property appearing far from full. That’s rigid, customer-unfriendly, and left a bad impression. There are plenty of proper hotels nearby at similar or lower prices with better amenities and a more flexible and professional approach.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel where I immediately felt comfortable from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere is very cozy and homely, truly cocooning. Everything was extremely clean, the room was spacious, new, and very well maintained. The location is excellent — only about a 10-minute walk from the Night Market, which made getting around very easy. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. They even offered us small cookies and an iced coffee at departure, which was a very thoughtful touch. They also helped us with excellent transportation arrangements for our return to the airport. Overall, everything went perfectly, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Note: There is no TV in the room. Personally, this didn’t bother me at all as I don’t use a TV during my holidays, but I thought it could be useful information for travelers who might want to know

Cleanliness and location

Carpark is a bit small and tight.

Spacious, clean, beautiful seaview, excellent location within 10 minutes walk to the Maeil Olle market.

Water from the shower flows out from the shower screen gaps wetting the toilet floor.

Really clean and functional. Me personal found it very positive that the floor was tiled and not with a carpet. Much easier to be kept clean. Friendly staff, good WiFi . If I ever come back to Seogwipo-si I would book it again.

Lovely little hotel with friendly and caring staff. Not your ordinary hotel, its a little quirky in good location to visit the sights like the waterfall. Also close to nice bars and restaurants. Excellent views out over the water and island. Very quiet.

The staff was accommodating and very friendly! Very helpful and easy to reach. The location was nice. It was convenient that there was parking at the hotel and also a free parking lot near by. There were fresh towels, water and hygene items daily. The room was nice and big with a beautiful view ! Shower was nice and big

Wish it was possible to use the fridge without the keycard being in.

We were a little unsure about not being able to check in till 4 however we were so pleased with the lounge and kitchen facilities that we made ourselves at home. The rooms were decorated Korean/Scandie and were so pleasant to be in and we had lovely sea views. The staff were exceptional - so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

It was clean and safe

One of the beds was very hard. Also, the bathroom floor got wet easily due to the half shower door. And the glass that was there didn’t go down all the way. Strange design.

The rooms are large and comfortable. The location is nice with waling distance for the main street and markets.

The staff is laid back so you need to take your time until they attend to you. They do make the room instead your leave your towels outside and they replace the towels and other things - for us it was less comfortable but maybe for other this is better.

Parking was easy at the building and the whole design was thoughtful & really nice. It was super near to the lovely Dongmun market! Love it, just a few minutes walk (UPHILL though). The view from the balcony was nice & serene as well both day & night, we got to see the ocean which was really nice. The L2 reception area & common area was nice too but we didn't use much. The room was well placed and ok for 3pax although a bit tight for 3 luggages. thank you for the nice stay!

Management seems particular about waste so the shampoo etc were small bottles (enough for use though) and you can buy to buy your own toothpaste/brush from them, but generally things are available at the lobby area. If i dont remember wrongly, the bath towels are more the size of face towels...

Many parking spots, great central location but quiet. The room was huge and really nicely organized.

Loved the location of this property, it’s helpful on site manager, how quiet and comfortable the room was (and how big). Slept very well. Was also impressed with the bigger towels and crisp white bed linen. Shower pressure was fantastic. Parking easy to get in and out. But the location was the winner!

Nothing. Maybe they could provide some spoons/stirrers for tea/coffee making. But that’s negligible.

The room was spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony. There were lots of nice touches like an amenity drawer with extra toiletries and power outlet adapters. We appreciated being able to do laundry as well. It was 5,000 won payable to the front desk for detergent and instructions -- and then it was available 24/7. There are 5 parking spots under the hotel plus limited street parking.

Lots of space in the room. very quiet and comfortable with balcony to every room and amazing sea views. Location superb too.

Great location, walking distance to Maeil Olle Market, many restaurants and waterfalls. Large, clean, bright, modern but comfortable room. Lovely view from the balcony over the ocean and islands. Convenient to have the parking on the first floor. Washing machine available for 5,000 per wash, coffee and croissant available for purchase from 9am til 10:30am. Comfortable group areas for relaxing on 2nd floor. Quiet area good for sleeping.

Property is very clean and in a calmer area of Seogwipo, but a short walk gets you to the market, great restaurants and waterfront.

I can honestly say there was no disappointment .

A huge thanks to the staff, who were really helpful throughout the stay! The place is wide, comfy, tastefully furnished, with all the facilities an amenities you will need. The position is great as well, near to many highlights, restaurants, transportation. Overall great!

While the furniture feels very stylish, there is no place to place the bags - the wardrobe is quite fragile so we left the bags on the floor in the entrance, which is a bit encumbering

Place was sparkling clean, location was good. Waking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Reception is only open at 4pm. To clear the trash, you need to leave them outside your door but they are only cleared mid day. A little bit of inconvenience but it’s ok.

We liked it so much that we decided to extend our stay! It was one of the best hotel experience in a long while. We liked the calm and relaxing vibe of the hotel, the decor, the size of he room ( it was really comfy and spacious), the view, well, everything! The staff really takes care of the guests and the property.

I really loved my stay here. The hosts are so helpful and friendly, and explained everything very well. It was so quiet for such an amazing location in the arts area of Seogwipo, and very well stocked. It was simply furnished in a really nice way. Great view as well. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a fantastic location. Nestled in Jeju’s vibrant arts district—reminiscent of Seoul’s Hongdae—it’s surrounded by creative energy, unique cafes, and galleries. It's also conveniently close to scenic waterfalls and just steps away from a lively market and shopping area. Our room featured a spotless interior and a charming balcony with a breathtaking ocean view, including a small island in the distance. The staff were welcoming and professional, making our stay feel extra special. Good parking.

While my child was a bit disappointed that the room didn’t have a TV, I appreciated the digital detox—it gave us more quality time together and enhanced the overall experience.

Everything was perfect

The location and the sea view- we can walk to Jeongbang waterfalls from our hotel. We can watch the sunrise from our room. 🤩

The friendliness and helpful staff made our stay excellent. Our hosts Mr Choi & Seo-eun-ji went out of their way to make our trip very memorable. Location was great, bus only in Jeju or taxi. Once you get your head around the bus system it was an easy way to get to scenic locations. Bus transit card is the same as the metro pass you can use it anywhere in Korea.

Our room was simple but comfortable, no TV or other gizmos.

The hotel was very clean and modern. Getting to the hotel from Jeju Airport took quite long (1.5 hours), which we were not prepared for. The staff were friendly & helpful. The location of the hotel was ideal for several highly rated Cafes/ Restaurants which provided vegetarian food.

The staff did not speak much English, so guests need to be prepared for quick translation on mobile apps, etc. Breakfast was quite modest, so don't expect too much. However, this was explained when we checked-into the property.

What a wonderful find in Seogwipo. Great location, a spacious sized room, exceptionally clean, and a beautiful sea view! We couldn't have asked for more. And then there was our amazing host. Who was very kind and extremely helpful. He helped us with an assortment of questions from booking ferries to working the washing machine. Nothing was a problem for him and always a smiling happy face . I rarely rate a place 10 but this definitely was.

No complaints about anything. My only very small suggestion would be water glasses / cups in the room and a cold water dispenser in the lounge for topping up water bottles.
