Reviewed Sep 17, 2026It is a unique place to stay. It is located in a quiet place and next to the ocean. There is an easy hike about 300m from the cabin, and it has an outstanding view from the top of the mountain . Overall, we love the cabin and enjoy our stay. Supermarket called Joker only 5 mins drive from our cabin. Even on a gloomy rainy day, it doesn't bother us since we still can have a cup of coffee and look out our windows and enjoy the sea.

Los baños son escasos para la cantidad de personas que pueden alojarse. La habitación está un poco anticuada y desvencijada, y aunque los anfitriones envían instrucciones claras, el edificio no es evidente al no tener ni un solo cartel.

Právě tady se mohou potkávat a předávat si zkušenosti z cestování po Lofotech. Bylo tu vše, co jsme potřebovali, a i když to na první pohled vypadlo jako konec světa, pobyt jsme si užili i díky tůře na Munkan

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026El edificio, tan lleno de historias y de vivencias de pescadores de bacalao. Y el personal, que es muy amable, en especial Luciana y Felipe, siempre con plena disponibilidad para hacerte la estancia muy agradable.
Para una mejor orientación a la llegada mejoraría la señalización con un cartel en el propio edificio

Uniquement 2 douches pour beaucoup de lits (30 / 40 lits ?! ) Cuisine très bien équipée, mais beaucoup d'éléments sont vieux et/ou ne marchent pas.

Difficile da individuare al primo colpo, la doccia è priva di protezioni e si allaga il bagno quando la si fa (infatti mettono a disposizione un attrezzo per raccoglierla), dotazione per cucina abbastanza modesta

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026La posizione, sebbene non centrale e probabilmente più facilmente raggiungibile se si ha la macchina (come nel mio caso), è veramente spettacolare. L'ostello si sviluppa in una serie di rorbuer che si affacciano sul porto di Ballstad. Ho visto dei tramonti pazzeschi stando qui. La stanza dell'ostello è pulita, essendo tutto in legno si sentono di più i movimenti delle altre persone, ma non è un problema. La cucina e l'area comune sono ampie e dotate di ogni comfort. Il bagno è nella norma, ce n'è solo uno che funge sia da bagno che da doccia, quindi bisogna organizzarsi. Una sera ho avuto un problema (che non dipendeva direttamente dall'ostello, ma da una sua ospite) e la struttura mi ha concesso di trascorrere l'ultima notte in stanza singola a causa dell'inconveniente. Buon modo di trattare il cliente.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Ottima posizione per visitare i dintorni. La sala/spazi comuni molto caratteristici, bellissimo. Letto comodo e bagno comune pulito.
La porta della camera da letto non si chiudeva. Quando abbiamo chiesto se fossimo noi a non riuscire a chiuderla, ci è stato spiegato che il problema era già noto e che sarà sistemata prossimamente, suggerendoci poi di tenerla chiusa utilizzando la sedia presente in camera. Sempre in quell’occasione abbiamo scoperto che quella stessa sera sarebbe arrivata una comitiva di circa trenta ragazzi francesi, che aveva prenotato il resto della struttura. I ragazzi sono stati educati e non ci hanno arrecato particolari disturbi, quindi non abbiamo avuto problemi sotto questo aspetto. Tuttavia, avremmo apprezzato essere informati della situazione prima dell’arrivo, o quantomeno al momento della prenotazione, così da poter valutare consapevolmente se soggiornare comunque nella struttura o scegliere un’altra soluzione. La stanza, inoltre, era molto piccola, non ci sono comodini o luci per leggere. Nel complesso, il soggiorno è stato discreto, ma alcuni aspetti, soprattutto la manutenzione e la comunicazione con gli ospiti, potrebbero essere migliorati.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Die Lage ist prima als Ausgangslage zum Wandern und direkt am Wasser. Jedoch ist man ohne Auto eher aufgeschmissen.
Kühlschrank & Mikrowelle haben übel gerochen, ziemlich eklig. Die Unterkunft an sich ist schön, aber sehr altmodisch - für den Preis, den man bezahlt, dürfte man auch ein paar Sachen in Angriff nehmen und modernisieren.

Molto piccola, io difetto più grande è che non c’è il lavandino in cucina per cui i piatti vanno lavati nel piccolissimo lavandino di cucina. Questo non era specificato. La cucina non è attrezzata , c’è solo una piastra elettrica (letteralmente una) e vecchia, un bollitore e un microonde molto sporco. Pochissime pentole e stoviglie. Se avessi saputo che la cucina era così poco organizzata non avrei fatto la spesa per cucinare a casa, perché davvero è stato scomodo. Il riscaldamento non funzionava. Basterebbe poco per renderla una vera chicca. Prezzo alto

Cabaña 4 turquesa. Sin armarios ni baldas. Lavabo pequeño, sin espacio almacenaje. Ducha incomoda, colgador roto, espejo antivaho no funcionaba. Menaje escaso. Había (no sé si de clientes anteriores) aceite pimienta y un vaso con azúcar pero no sal. Vistas a dársena de reparación de barcos.

The dorm room was very large but had only two small heaters. So it was too cold. There were no signs on the building to tell you it was the hostel.

Il y avait seulement une toilette (avec douche) alors qu'on peut être jusqu'à 10 personnes.
