Reviewed Jun 3, 2026Prue and Stu have created a real gem in the heart of the Waikato countryside - close enough to the city, but far enough to truly switch off. Everything was exactly as described, and the value for money is excellent. The farm animals in the paddock add a genuine farm experience that the kids and adults alike will love. The outdoor hot tub is a highlight - sitting there, sipping wine, and watching the endless Waikato sunset is something else. A few small touches that stood out: scissors in the kitchen drawer (sounds minor, but after staying at many places in the region, this was a first!), and a welcome chocolate in the fridge - a lovely little treat. An outstanding experience overall. We'll definitely be back.
Couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi network listed on the information leaflet. A quick text to Prue and she arrived within minutes and sorted it on the spot. Appreciated the prompt response - thank you. A small issue, efficiently resolved.

Reviewed Mar 31, 2026Me and my partner had a lovely stay here.. it was better than the photos and felt so comfortable and inviting. the animals were a bonus and so was the hot tub. We met one of the owners upon arrival as we were 10 minutes early and he was very nice. The bed was so comfy, it was clean, the kitchen fully equipped and it was relaxing watching netflix. also, very close to town. Definitely recommending this place to family & friends. Hope to come again soon :)

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Absolutely the BEST stay I have ever booked. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable bed to the full kitchen, to the hot tub to the split system air con. The highlight of my trip was being able to jump into the paddock to cuddle Penny the cow and Cookie and Freckles the pigs. I could not fault this stay, and I can’t wait to come back!

The fridge. It froze some of our drinks and yogurt. May have to change the settings. I'm not sure. Otherwise, all was fantastic.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2024The property was great. It was very relaxing just sitting outside overlooking the fields with the rain and the company of Cookie & Freckles the pigs and Penny the calf. Was able to relax in the spa with a glass of wine later while it was still raining as under the cover of the umbrella. The furniture was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The place felt so clean and looked like it had most things you would need if you were cooking in.
