The place is amazing! It looks even better in real life, when I arrived I felt like I was home. The huts are super cute and have very comfortable beds. Didn't wanna leave the pool side, it felt like being in paradise.The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Our stay at Blue Beach Eco‑Hotel by Sanfabini was truly memorable. This place is an authentic oasis, tucked inside a part of Bayahibe that still preserves its raw, rural, deeply local Dominican character. The surrounding area may feel a bit rough at first glance — not unsafe, just wonderfully unfiltered — and that turned out to be one of the biggest bonuses of our stay. We ended up immersing ourselves in real local life and flavors without even planning to, and it made the experience richer and more meaningful. The hotel itself is ecological, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The architecture and layout feel perfectly adapted to the environment: natural airflow, thoughtful materials, and a style that blends seamlessly with the tropical surroundings. It’s not a conventional hotel — there’s no AC, and the experience is intentionally simple and eco‑friendly — but that’s exactly what makes it special. It’s ideal for curious, happy explorers who appreciate nature, authenticity, and new experiences. If you’re looking for a polished resort bubble, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for something real, warm, and unique, this is perfect. The hosts were nothing short of amazing — warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality made us feel at home immediately. And we have to mention Lucas, the adorable puppy, who added an extra dose of joy to our stay. Overall, Blue Beach Eco‑Hotel is a place we wholeheartedly recommend to travelers who want authenticity, nature, and a true Dominican experience. It’s beautiful, ecological, and filled with heart.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is simple, yet incredibly peaceful, comfortable, safe, and well maintained. It has everything you need for a quiet and relaxing stay. I also had the chance to meet the owners, who were exceptionally warm and friendly. There is no air conditioning, but the provided fans make it easy to stay comfortable. Some of the huts include a small kitchen, and guests can also use the property’s shared kitchen. The swimming pool is a wonderful addition and very welcome after a day out. The included breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. A car or other form of transportation is recommended, as the property is located a bit away from the beach, supermarkets, and other stores. Overall, a charming place to unwind and enjoy a restful getaway.

La parte exterior es muy bonita

Nada más entrar en la cabaña tuvimos que sacar una cucaracha de la cama. Después de pasar todo el día en la playa, quisimos ducharnos, pero no había agua caliente ni suficiente presión de agua, por lo que tuvimos que dormir sin poder asearnos. A la mañana siguiente, nos despertamos y encontramos una rana dentro del alojamiento. Además, al decidir marcharnos temprano porque teníamos un viaje largo por delante, el propietario nos cuestionó por irnos tan pronto, una situación que nos resultó bastante incómoda y perturbadora. Pagamos 115 USD por una sola noche, un precio que consideramos excesivo dadas las condiciones del alojamiento y la experiencia vivida.

L'hôtel est vraiment super, il y a seulement 3 maisonnettes et l'hôte est très agréable et a dit que ce n'était pas un hôtel mais que pendant notre séjour nous étions chez nous, le petit déjeuner est préparer tous les matins peut importe l'heure

Il n'y a pas de transat au bord de la piscine, je trouve un peu dommage, et la route est un vrai champs de ruine, il y a deux routes pour aller à l'hôtel et google maps nous fait toujours passer par la mauvaise. De plus la localisation, proche de bayahibe oui mais le quartier n'est pas super

Au calme à moins de 10 mn en voiture du centre, c’est un endroit très original, construit et joliment décoré par la patron et son épouse. Ce sont des hôtes d’une grande gentillesse, très attentionnés mais discrets, et avec lesquels on se sent vite comme en famille ! Nous étions de passage mais serions volontiers restés plus longtemps, car on s’y sentait bien!

Super hébergement décoré avec goût. Spacieux, confortable, petite cuisine aménagée...Nous avons passé une nuit parfaite et le propriétaire nous a gentiment proposé de nos emmener au port pour prendre le bateau pour Saona. Très bel endroit. Je recommande !

Nowhere near the beach, very noisy neighbourhood. The shower was a trickle of water.

Amazing property, great place to relax, always felt welcomed, 10/10 would recommend. I will try and come back here again. I relaxed and slept by the pool all day.

We were uncertain on the drive in on the rough roads (recommend an SUV), and maps had a hard time finding it and didn't give the best route through the neighborhood, but this eco-hostel exceeded expectations. I love the room design, and lighting! Plenty of covered parking, the huts are very well built, and the owner and his family are super friendly and go above and beyond. It's impressive what he's built and he manages it just as impressively. The homemade breakfasts are fantastic, even the coffee is good and we don't like coffee. We enjoyed the stone shower. The dog is also very playful and friendly and the pool is well-designed and well-kept.
