Ceylon wilpattu safaris & lodging

Wir waren für 2 Nächte bei Roshan und seiner Familie. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüsst und sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt. Die Safari wurde für uns organisiert und von der Familie selbst durchgeführt. Die Safari war super organisiert sogar mit leckerem Essen. Unser Fahrer hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, damit wir alle Tiere sehen konnten die wir wollten! Das Essen allgemein war super und die Zimmer sehr schön und sauber! Wir würden es weiterempfehlen

It is a very beautiful , clean and quite modern resort in the middle of the jungle. Roshan and his family are super friendly and do everything to make your stay perfect and comfortable and are super helpful in arranging safaris and other excursions. The food is truly amazing, some of the best breakfast, lunch and dinner I’ve had. The room was really nice in a newer building and we had a beautiful balcony in the treetops. Beautiful sunsets from the rooftop.

Einfach alles. Wunderschöne, saubere Zimmer. Westliche Standards. Traumhafte Anlage mitten im Dschungel. Super leckeres Abendessen. Safari top organisiert, alles Weltklasse. Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Eigentlich nichts - man muss ordentlich zahlen für das Ganze aber Qualität hat hier auch seinen Preis. Kann man sich mal gönnen auf einer Südasienreise.

We had an amazing two night stay here. The rooms in the new building we stayed in were exceptionally good, very spacious and with brilliant views for sunset. The venue overall is also great, very peaceful and well maintained. Roshan and his family did everything to make our stay perfect. The evening dinner buffet was also excellent with a large selection of authentic local dishes. We could not recommend highly enough 😊

Le personnel était très accueillant, nous nous y sommes sentis comme à la maison et le lieu est très beau, entouré de nature. Concernant les chambres elles sont très confortables, bien que le prix y soit plus élevé que dans les d’autres hôtels, cela en valait le coût.

Unser Aufenthalt war wunderschön! Die Zimmer sind modern und sauber, die Anlage sehr nett gestaltet und das Personal ausgesprochen bemüht und gut gelaunt. Die Lage ist top für Safaris, die auch von der Unterkunft organisiert werden. Außerdem war das Essen (sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen) ein Traum! Nur zu empfehlen!!

Gute Lage für einen Ausflug in den Nationalpark und unkomplizierte Organisation der Safari. Roshan und seine Familie sind sehr zuvorkommend und organisieren zuverlässig Ausflüge, Safaris und Tranporte. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen waren hervorragend!

Wow! Amazing place! Wonderful people! Delicious food! Such a lovely family and fantastic, kind, helpful staff. Cool bauhaus building with rooftop jungle view. Excellent buffet breakfast (complimentary) and dinner ($12) with many vegan options. Just outside Wilpattu National Park. Talented drivers who are experts at spotting animals. Definitely recommended!

The place was clean and amazingly comfortable sheets and pillows. Roshan was very hospitable and helped organise wildlife safari and pick up airport/ drop off for next stop. We loved Nikki for safari -- she was amazing. Buffet dinner / breakfast delicious. Im gluten free - Roshan is all over this.

Abbiamo fatto un tour full day ed è stato indimenticabile. Abbiamo visto leopardi, orsi, elefanti e molto altro Al di la del safari, che è stato bellissimo, già solo il soggiorno e pernottamento da roshan merita il viaggio!! Lo consigliamo vivamente

Mi è piaciuto tutto, struttura di livello, cena e colazione buonissime. Staff gentile ed accogliente, ci hanno accolto con estrema cura ed entusiamo. Inoltre abbiamo organizzato con loro un bellissimo Safari, sono super preparati, è stata davvero una meravigliosa esperienza!

De locatie was dichtbij Wilpattu. Kamers waren erg mooi, modern en schoon. Het eten was bijzonder goed, een buffet gemaakt met veel verschillende verse lokale producten. Roshan en zijn familie deden alles om het ons naar ons zin te maken. Echt alles was ok daar.

De safari, alhoewel Ceylon Wilpattu hier geen enkele invloed op heeft, gewoon pech dat we geen luipaarden en lippenberen hebben gezien. Chauffeur deed er alles aan maar ze waren er gewoon niet op onze dag

Amazing hidden away gem near the Wilpattu National Park - gorgeous rooms and bathrooms with beautiful surrounds. Hospitality of the owners and staff were exceptional and the food was brilliant! Take the time to find this place and enjoy safari tours with the lovely guide Nicki, tasty local food and warm hospitality.

Roshan, seine Frau und die anderen Angestellten sind tolle Gastgeber, es hat sich angefühlt als wären wir bei Freunden. Roshan war immer absolut bemüht und das ohne zu aufdringlich zu sein. Da es spontan mehrere Stornierungen gab, bekamen wir ein kostenloses Upgrade: Ein sehr modernes Zimmer im Neubau mit drei großen Doppelbetten und zwei kleinen Balkonen. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt! Die Dusche hat eine Glastür, was nicht Standard ist in Sri Lanka (oft gab es weder Tür noch Vorhang) - hier war es perfekt. Abends gab es ein sehr vielfältiges Buffet. Es gab verschiedene Curries. Roshan erklärte allen Gästen die verschiedenen Speisen, auf einem kleinen Teller neben jedem Tontopf lag die Hauptzutat, sodass immer klar war, was was ist. Wir hatten hier das beste Essen während unserer gesamten Reise! Auch das Frühstück wurde als Buffet angeboten und war sehr lecker. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr nah am Wilpattu NP und eignet sich daher super als Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari. Ansonsten ist die Umgebung sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Es gibt außerdem eine Dachterrasse mit einem tollen Rundumblick. Wir würden definitiv gerne wiederkommen und hatte eine total tolle Zeit! Dies ist unsere Lieblingsunterkunft unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise.

Das WLAN war leider langsam und instabil, was mich aber bei der abgelegenen Lage nicht gewundert hat (Handyempfang war auch nicht besonders gut). Keine Kritik, nur ein kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag: Sitzgelegenheiten und Sonnenschirme auf der Dachterrasse wären super.

Nous avons passé notre 1ère nuit au Sri Lanka au Ceylon wilpattu safaris & lodging, quelle fantastique entrée en matière ! Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Roshan, le propriétaire, qui nous a servi des boissons fraiches et des serviettes rafraichissantes et nous a offert un surclassement, ainsi qu'à nos amis qui voyageaient avec nous. Les 2 chambres étaient spacieuses, très confortables, très propres. Le jardin était joli, avec de nombreux oiseaux tropicaux. Le diner était délicieux, un des meilleurs de nos 3 semaines au Sri Lanka. C'était un buffet de spécialités Sri-Lankaises. Je recommande fortement de diner sur place ! Roshan nous a également organisé le safari à Wilpattu, c'était une journée incroyable, nous avons eu la chance de voir un léopard vers la fin de l'excursion. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner et le déjeuner inclus dans le safari, qui étaient vraiment excellents, dégustés au milieu de la nature, en observant les crocodiles et de nombreux oiseaux! Ne manquez pas cette étape, c'était vraiment une de mes préférées au Sri Lanka, tant pour l'accueil que le cadre, les chambres, les activités, la restauration. La communication sur WhatsApp avec Roshan en amont du voyage était très facile et réactive.

El personal del hotel fue increíblemente amable, profesional y atento. Dado que en la época en la que hemos ido por motivos geopolíticos no estaban llenos, nos hicieron un upgrade sin coste! La cena espectacular.

Quizás un punto a mejorar sería arreglar un poco el carril que da acceso al hotel, pero es simplemente para hacerlo más cómodo.

Een ultramoderne, gloednieuwe accommodatie bij een liefdevolle familie. Wij kregen een gratis kamerupgrade. Op het dakterras kijk je 360 graden over de jungle uit. De zonsondergang is hier wonderschoon. Je doet jezelf tekort als je hier niet ook het ontbijt en diner neemt. Het Srilankaanse buffet is het lekkerst dat wij in 3 weken tijd in SL gegeten hebben. Ook een dag safari via de eigenaar Roshan geregeld. Wij hadden het geluk alle grote dieren in het park te mogen zien: luipaard, lippenbeer, olifant, sambar hert, wild zwijn, jakhals, waterbuffel, mangoest en nog heel veel meer.

Alles was top!

We had an amazing stay at Ceylon Resort in Wilpattu. Roshan and all the staff were really helpful and it was a beautiful place to stay. The food was incredible - both breakfast and dinner - with a huge selection of home cooked local food on offer. We did the full day safari through Ceylon and it was incredible. We saw a leopard up close, elephants and lots of other amazing animals. Our guides Nicky and Ranil were great. We also did the night safari where we saw a leopard too and lots of other birds and mammals. We’d thoroughly recommend staying here in your visit to Wilpattu.

L’accueil, la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel fut remarquable. Les chambres sont spacieuses et décorées avec un goût certain. La salle de restauration très cosy nous invite à prendre le temps pour profiter d’un buffet sri lankais exceptionnel.

Der Besitzer war unglaublich freundlich und hat sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, uns alles ausführlich zu erklären und Tipps zu geben. Obwohl in den letzten Tagen wegen der aktuellen Situation im Nahen Osten viele Stornierungen eingegangen sind, hat er uns sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade auf ein das beste Zimmer gegeben, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen. Am zweiten Abend hat er für alle Gäste ein umfangreiches Buffet mit traditionellen Gerichten aus Sri Lanka zubereitet– das war wirklich eine tolle Erfahrung. Auch die Safari, die wir über das Resort gebucht haben, war hervorragend. Unser Fahrer war sehr engagiert und hat sich große Mühe gegeben, uns möglichst viele Tiere zu zeigen. Wir hatten großes Glück und konnten sogar einen Leoparden sehen.

Es gab eigentlich nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat. Insgesamt war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

We had a deluxe room in a new building that was quite lovely. The food was amazing and the owner was the kindest most helpful person you've ever met. They organized a good safari in a comfortable vehicle with lots of food for the day. The location is very close to the entrance gate.

The place is really amazing and is run by a lovely and welcoming family! It's really close to the wilpattu National Park. We did a whole day safari which is highly recommended because we saw the elephant, the Leopard and the bear in the afternoon. The driver was a pro and we had Nikki as our guide which told a lot about the different animals and kept us enthousiastic and awake (you leave at 5:30 in the morning so sometimes your mind wants te sleep during the day) The resort had a big tower in the middle of which has a beautifull view of the sunset. All the food is home made and taste fantastic. Both the breakfast and dinner which is a buffet which different choices. We would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The meals were very good; especially the dinner buffet. Excellent cappuccino with Roshan's imported coffee machine. The safari was well organised and the driver made an effort to find the animals. Roshan gave us a free upgrade which was a nice added touch. He also got us a taxi for our onward journey.

The shower could have been a tad warmer mornings.

Genuinely one of the best experiences I had in all of my travels. The host Roshan takes customer service to another dimension. He allowed late check-in and dinner and even freely upgraded our double room to a family room just because the room wasn’t booked. We’ve never experienced such hospitality without extra costs. You notice that he’s really there to give you the best possible customer experience. A true gem of a man who is genuine and honest. The staff is just as lovely and ensures that you are as comfortable as possible. The chef is truly amazing and made us taste true Sri Lankan cuisine. The room is very beautiful, clean, and got everything you need. The beds are comfortable except for the pillows but this is a personal preference. The property itself is also very stunning. The safari is well arranged but we were a bit unlucky and didn’t see that many animals during our full day safari. It stays wildlife and it’s a game of luck. Nevertheless we had a great and kind spotter and a good driver.

The only con are the pillows as they’re too soft, but this is a personal preference. If that’s the only con, you know that this is a 10/10 accommodation.

Het enthousiasme van de staf was fantastisch! Heel zorgzaam en een upgrade van onze geboekte kamer naar het nieuwe gebouw. Een modern opgetrokken gebouw van twee verdiepingen dat toch helemaal past bij de omgeving. Het uitzicht vanaf de rooftop over het omliggende nationaal park was adembenemend. Vanwege de afgelegen ligging is het logisch om aan te schuiven bij het dinerbuffet, en dat is absoluut geen straf. Heerlijk!! Echt een aanrader om vanaf dit resort te starten met een dag safari door Wilpattu NP. Wordt overigens ook perfect geregeld!!

Super vriendelijk, fantastisch avondeten, sfeer en een degelijke safari (alhoewel er minder wild te spotten is als vb in Zuid Afrika) met mooie natuur in het park. De wandelsafari is een 10 minuten wandeling naar een nabijgelegen meer.

Très bel établissement, idéalement situé pour le safari, le personnel est au petit soin pour les demandes, Roshan le patron s'occupera de tout. Un tout nouvel hôtel vient de voir le jour avec un rooftop au 6eme étage pour une vue splendide sur le bush.. Le repas du soir est un régal avec beaucoup de spécialités sous formes de buffet, un régal ! Je recommande cet endroit pour votre safari et aussi pour la quiétude et le confort des chambres, et l'accueil chaleureux de Roshan, sa femme, et toute so équipe! Nous avons passé un super sejour

Good communication with Roshan prior to arrival, really clean and great rooms. Home cooking and explanation of all the different dishes was great. Good day jeep safari with breakfast and lunch included and great guide Nicky and driver visiting Wilpattu national park a memorable experience.

Heel mooi hotel, lekker gegeten (buffet met veel verschillende curry's en andere dingen). We kregen een upgrade naar grotere kamer, ook de safari was goed geregeld en relaxed! En de douche was heerlijk, na veel slappe straaltjes of koud water in Sri Lanka was dat super fijn!

Helaas is Wilpattu voor driekwart onbegaanbaar na de cycloon, daarvan waren wij niet op de hoogte. Daardoor ontstaat er wat meer drukte en reden we meermaals dezelfde wegen in het park op zoek naar dieren. Dat was een beetje jammer, maar natuurlijk niet iets waar het hotel iets aan kan doen!

Es war ein super schöner Aufenthalt. Es war sehr sauber, das Essen war gut und das ganze Personal war super freundlich. Vielen Dank noch mal das an dem Hotelbesitzer. Er hat uns einen super Fahrer organisiert um uns in Negombo abzuholen. Er persönlich hat uns nach unserem Aufenthalt noch in die nächste Stadt gefahren, war mit uns Kokusnuss trinken und erzählte uns viel über Sri Lanka außerdem hat er uns einen neuen Fahrer organisiert, der jetzt sogar bis zur Ende unsere Rundfahrt bei uns bleibt ☺️ Vielen Dank für alles 🫶🏼

The property was situated near the Wilpattu national park entrance, about 10 minutes drive It was close to a lovely lake where you could walk or cycle to and see lots of bird life. we borrowed bikes from the property. Their property itself was quite new with a beautiful lush garden to relax in. The rooms were spacious with air-conditioning. The staff was super friendly and helpful We ate the dinner, which was the best we had had in Sri Lanka . A buffet of numerous Sri Lankan dishes.. We also booked a Safari through this property . We shared with another couple.. scrumptious breakfast and lunch were provided in the fee. We highly recommend a full days Safari. We were lucky enough to see leopard elephant crocodile and other birds and animals.

Nothing except perhaps they have two sites on Booking.com. This caused some . If you’re booking with them check because one seems to be cheaper than the other yet it’s the same property and the same service.

We had a wonderful time at Ceylon Wilpattu Safaris and lodging! The team are all so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. The rooms were beautiful and the food was delicious!! The buffet was so great - all local home made dishes. We had two amazing days on safari which was arranged by the hotel - the food they packed for our trip was also great. To top it all off - I was celebrating my birthday while staying and the team even arranged a surprise cake for me! Thanks so much!!

Very well maintained property - lovely rooms and bathrooms that felt very clean. The staff were lovely and friendly and very attentive. The food options were great and very handy as the lodgings are not close to restaurants as it is a safari area. Would definitely recommend

We stayed 2 nights at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu so we could enjoy a full day safari, organised by the resort, and the whole experience was above our expectations. The resort has such a family feel – the owners are warm, welcoming, and so easy to chat with. The food was absolutely delicious, all handmade, and we even left with a few new recipes! They thought of everything – from a great breakfast to a tasty lunch packed for our safari as well. And they even made our son’s birthday extra special, which meant so much to us. Our spotter on the Safari, Hansa, was incredible. Thanks to him we saw so many animals, birds and lizards. Everything was so well organized and taken care of that we could just relax and enjoy. Truly a wonderful place to stay – highly recommend!

The WiFi in our room wasn’t very strong (though Roshan kindly explained at check-out we hadn’t been given our room’s extension code), and the room could use a couple of extra shelves or tables for convenience.

Supermooi resort in de natuur! Goed onderhouden en schone kamers. Superleuke host die meedenkt en graag een praatje maakt. Je kan voor een kleine bijdrage mee eten met heerlijk verse gerechten gekookt door de vrouw van de host (dit is ook wel nodig want er zijn niet veel restaurants in de buurt). Via de host kan je een safari regelen wat superfijn is, je wordt dan opgehaald bij het resort en lunch en ontbijt is allemaal geregeld. Superfijn verblijf gehad!

De wifi was iets minder

Het heerlijke eten en de gastvrijheid en de verzorging van de hele dag safari.

De kamer direct aan het terras en naast de keuken. Omdat veel mensen ‘s morgens heel vroeg de safari doen en dan heerlijk eten mee krijgen, is het dan redelijk gehorig in je kamer.

De eigenaren zijn goede ondernemers en maken er een mooi resort van. De plek om te eten, de tuinaanleg, de paden, de verlichting -> alles is met veel aandacht gedaan. Ontbijt prima in orde en het avondbuffet ook. Ook via het hotel de Safari geregeld die idem prima in orde was. Ze zijn nog flink aan het ontwikkelen dus voor nu ( en in de toekomst ) mooie uitvalbasis voor het Nationale Park

Wij waren hier eind juli, en in deze periode moet het geld natuurlijk verdiend worden voor hen, maar het ligt er wat mij betreft iets teveel bovenop. Het buffet is 12 US dollar per persoon dus met een gezin van vier komt er bijna 50 US dollar per nacht bij. Dat in combinatie met de toch relatief hoge kamerprijzen, zeker in vergelijk met andere plekjes die we in Sri Lanka hebben aangedaan, vond ik prijs-kwaliteit iets scheef als zuinige .Hollander.

Prachtige plek, warme ontvangst door Roshan en zijn vrouw, mooie kamer, alles super. We hebben er fantastisch gegeten en lekker geslapen. Roshan had ook de safari voor ons geregeld, wat een leuke dag was.

Helaas was er een miscommunicatie. Wij hadden van tevoren laten weten dat we graag een tweede nacht wilden boeken. Dit resort was vol maar ik had van Roshan begrepen dat het zou worden geregeld, evt. in een ander guest house van hem. Op de dag zelf bleek dat helaas niet het geval. Ik had het zelf eerder na moeten vragen, maar het overviel ons dat we ter plekke andere accommodatie moesten zoeken.

Wat een gastheer! Roshan zorgt ervoor dat je meteen welkom voelt. De faciliteiten zijn heerlijk. Wij hadden de grote familie kamer en die was zeer ruim. Bedden liggen heerlijk. Je zit dichtbij het Safari park, waardoor je ‘s ochtends met de safaritour vooraan staat in de rij auto’s die het park opgaan. Je wilt ook vroeg in het park rijden, want dan zie je de meeste dieren. Het is daarom ook belangrijk om zo vroeg mogelijk daar te zijn. Roshan investeert ook goed in z’n verblijf. Hierdoor zijn er wel wat bouwwerkzaamheden maar daar heb je totaal geen last van.

L’hôtel est vraiment super nous avons passé un très bon moment la bas. Roshan est au petit soin pour ces invités il fera tout pour vous satisfaire et vous aider au mieux pour votre séjour. Nous avons booker avec lui le safari pour Wilpattu il a tout gérer que ce soit le pdj ou le déjeuner tout était très bon. Nous avons aussi pris la navette pour faire de l’aéroport jusqu’à chez lui et tout c’est bien passé il paye en avance pour nous et après à la fin on le rembourse. En somme nous sommes réellement ravi de notre séjour ici et si un jour nous revenons nous passerons sans hésiter ici merci pour tout Roshan

This family run hotel/home stay is so nice. Mother in law is cooking breakfast and dinner , really Nice and tasteful traditional Singalees food. Very Well arranged private safari from the hotel with great guide and reasonable prices. Lunch and breakfast take away were very good and better than we had at a 5-star yala resort. Room very spacious with three king size beds and modern bathroom

Not much, a pool would be nice to chill after a safari, but you know this is not available when you book .

The welcome, the food, the hospitality, and the experiences were all exceptional. Everything we asked for was organised for us, including meals, transfers, safari, and sightseeing in the surrounding area. We are a family of 5 with children ranging from 12 to 16 years old - everyone loved the experiences, and we couldn't recommend it highly enough!

There was nothing we didn't like - it was fantastic!

Roshan and his family are really kind and helpful. The food his wife makes is very delicious. We also booked a safari here. Quite pricy, but also worth it. We saw leopards, elephants and all kinds of mammals and birds. We got a free upgrade at the resorts, but some of the guests also moved to another resort because of overbooking.Thank you Roshan for the wonderful time.

We were there 21-23 July. The staff was incredibly nice, such a lovely family. Great hugs and the loveliest smiles. The lodges are beautiful. The Sri Lankan food buffet was super tasteful.

Not really "disappointing" but the communication beforehand felt just a little bit chaotic. But our trust that it would all be fine in the end was true.

Roshan en zijn vrouw zijn geweldig. Super behulpzaam en enthousiast. Je voelt je meteen thuis. Het eten, de safari alles was goed geregeld. Ontbijt en lunch meegekregen en dat was ook erg smakelijk. Het diner is top, verschillende schalen met curry's alles even lekker. De kamers zijn mooi met een heerlijke douche. Leuk terras bij je kamer. Bierglazen zijn bevroren waardoor je biertje extra lekker smaakt. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf in Wilpattu gehad. Met als bonus een luipaard en een beer.

The bedroom and bathroom were fabulous. The bed was super comfortable and cosy. Lots of tea and coffee etc provided. Dining area lovely and food pressed well. Nice gardens.

Zo gastvrij hebben we niet eerder meegemaakt! Heerlijk eten en super behulpzaam.

Owner Roshan, his wife and their staff go all out to give you a pleasant stay. The buffet in the evening after a safari (which they can arrange for you as well) is very nice. Great atmosphere all around the property!!

Such a welcoming family and beautiful property. They organized all of our transfers to and from the airport for us with the driver stopping off so we could eat lunch. The food at the accommodation was absolutely delicious!! They organized the safari for us which was a good day out, we were lucky to see a leopard which was great!

Sehr nette Unterkunft, unfassbar freundliche Besitzer und Angestellte, leckeres Curry Buffet und extrem leckerer Cappuccino. Zudem ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari im Wilpattu Nationalpark. Auch alles perfekt organisiert. Hier fehlt es an nichts. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder .

Leuke locatie. Erg vriendelijke personeel. Safari was erg leuk om te doen. Eten was verrukkelijk!

De management is wat chaotisch. Maar uiteindelijk wordt alles geregeld.

We felt more than at home with Roshan and his family. We were given a very warm welcome after a 150-km journey by our tuktuk. We were then taken to our beautiful lodge with all its amenities. Meanwhile, Roshan told us all about the resort and the beautiful surroundings. We stayed there for two nights and everything was extremely well organised, including the safari, we had a wonderful day and we were provided with a delicious breakfast and lunch. Rashon's wife could cook incredibly well; we got to enjoy a very extensive and delicious dinner two evenings. By the way, a room is being built where one can get cooking lessons, among other things. Breakfast was also very tasty. We can look back on a fantastic and warm stay. We enjoyed the genuine personal attention. What we appreciate enormously is that the family involves the society in such a pleasant way.

Vriendelijke eigenaar, vrouw en personeel! Fijne ruime kamers en heerlijke bedden. We kregen een gratis upgrade naar een grotere kamer, echt super! Het ontbijt en diner was gevarieerd en erg lekker! Heel fijn is ook dat de eigenaar een safari had geregeld en dat de accommodatie vlakbij de ingang ligt van het Wilpattu National Park.

Alles! Fantastisch verblijf gehad bij deze lieve familie. Een echte aanrader als je op Sri Lanka bent. We werden warm ontvangen en kregen nog een kamer upgrade. De service is geweldig, de safari was top geregeld en ze hebben ons ook nog geholpen met onze tuk tuk die stuk was. Het is een prachtige oase met veel planten. Ook het eten was heerlijk en keurig verzorgd!

Il proprietario e la sua famiglia sono delle persone meravigliose, che fanno di tutto per farti sentire a casa e che ci mettono il cuore nelle cose che fanno. La stanza è andata oltre alle nostre aspettative, sono stati così gentili da farci una stanza superiore a quella che avevamo prenotato. La cena è a dir poco deliziosa, a buffet, con cose tipiche preparare con cura e amore. Ci hanno organizzato anche il safari che dal punto di vista organizzativo è stato meraviglioso. Colazione e pranzo al sacco, anche questi buonissimi e fatti in casa. Non potrei aggiungere altro se non che consiglio a tutti veramente questo posto se siete nei paraggi o volete fare il safari al Wilpattu National Park.

Je komt echt terecht in een warm familiebedrijf en voelt je meteen op je gemak. Ze staan altijd klaar om je te helpen met alles! Ze regelen de safari in wilpattu en hebben zelfs ook een chauffeur die je eventueel naar je volgende locatie kan brengen. Het eten is echt heerlijk, allemaal vers gemaakt door de familie zelf. We boekten een kamer en kregen zonder het te vragen zelfs een grotere kamer omdat deze vrij was voor dezelfde prijs. De kamers zijn schoon en voorzien van airco, de bedden zijn comfortabel en groot en er zijn snacks en drankjes voorzien in de ijskast op de kamers. De warme douche na een dagje safari was ook echt zeer welkom. Ik zou deze accommodatie echt 100% aanraden. Momenteel zijn ze aan aan het uitbreiden dus zijn er werken aan de gang, wij hebben hier geen hinder van ondervonden.

Het super vriendelijke personeel, we hebben nog nooit meegemaakt dat mensen zo lief, behulpzaam en vriendelijk waren als hier.

Tja wat niet? Eten, bedden, badkamer, de mensen, safari, het was allemaal geweldig!

De eigenaar is zo enthousiast en vriendelijk. Hij doet er alles aan om het de gasten naar de zin te maken. Het avondbuffet is heerlijk. Allemaal gerechten door henzelf klaargemaakt. Iets minder spicy dan ze zelf zouden eten. Inclusief soepje en nagerecht. Niet te vergeten de bananencakejes. Heerlijke lodges, lekkere bedden. De eigenaar regelt ook de safari in Wilpattu. Prachtig park, super leuke safari. Ik adviseer een hele dag; meeste kans op een luipaard of olifanten. En wij hadden geluk; we zagen ook het luipaard. Ik raad het iedereen aan. Niet over twijfelen.
